I like the chai seed pudding. The beet juice. I find the watermelon juice is too sweet. ( 30gm of sugar) The Pesto Mushrooms noodle is delicious. (18 gms of fat) I can't believe I am saying this but Gazpacho soup is delicious! I love the Roasted Veggies Salad, for me it does not need dressing. I like the customer service. This location is small with only a couple places to sit but it's really all to go. I love their broth and acai bowls, sometimes when I'm going a little healthier I can go a green smoothie but generally I stick to the other bc they're really not too sweet to begin with. I like their prepackaged food too- the mushroom noodles and the kale salad are my fav. They come with a salad dressing. Sustainability wise- they're doing well. They have biodegradable utensils and containers and they even poured the broth into my water bottle so I could further reduce my impact. I've been a loyal customer of juice press but not any more. I sat down to drink my juice with my husband after showing my vaccine card and the story was empty the entire time. After about 15 minutes I was yelled at by two ladies behind the counter to leave immediately becuase there's a 15 minute limit. I don't even know how that happens when the ingredients are universally straightforward. The guy working wasn't pleasant either. Just shy of rude. I wanted a Dr. Mangosteen but apparently they stopped making them because mangosteens are hard to come by and was too expensive. I ended up getting the Rainforest smoothie. It was delicious and I can feel the refreshing taste of the ginger and agave nectar sending energizing vibes down my throat. I love that most of their smoothies have coconut water as a base. Smoothies are on the small size but they use fresh ingredients. There's always 1-2 samples available. At $9-$12 its a tad pricy but their smoothies use some hard to find ingredients. Many smoothie places fill you up with bananas and pineapples. I would have a smoothie from here everyday if I had the money. But at $12 I'll have to go on an all liquid diet to support my smoothie addiction. read more

Detox smoothie - my favorite smoothie here! I'm not sure if it does what it is named, but this nutty taste is pretty addicting. Chili - loving the chili here. Why? It's not overly salty. Additionally it's creamy and has a great amount of beans. Formula 12 smoothie - 2nd favorite smoothie but it's on the fruity sweet side. Guru smoothie - gross! The ingredients sound great but the mixture is terrible. No amount of agave can save this drink. The fruit smoothies are like Jamba Juice, I recommend not getting it because it's just an expensive Jamba. All the cheesecakes and cakes taste so good. It's so good that I went through a raw dessert phase and started making a lot at home. Raw desserts from here are the bomb! read more

I would prefer to give this establishment NO stars, but of course that isn't an option. Firstly, lets get one thing out of the way. It is not considered fresh cold pressed juice if it is bottled. There I said it. This is a fact that escapes the dirty street urchins that work behind the counter. Also, it isn't healthy. Once you squeeze or make fresh juice it begins to loose its nutrients immediately, so you can only imagine how healthy and what exactly you are paying for with that bottled crap. Secondly, you have to be kidding...$14 for a small bottle of juice. I think the one I bought was 8 oz. When the little girl rang me up I looked around the counter to make sure I didn't have a stroke and grab 3 juices. NOPE, $14 for a bottled juice. You can get 3 fresh made 10oz juices for THE SAME PRICE less than 100 ft away at the deli on the corner and it is quicker than waiting for one of the kids to come over and simply press a few buttons. Thirdly, the staff is atrocious. The ones I have come in contact with are dirty, and look like they smell. They are rude and pretentious. YOU WORK IN A JUICE BAR! There is nothing wrong with it unless you act as though you are curing cancer and treat customers like they weren't invited. Lets recap; $3.99 for a juice at the deli where you get ANYTHING YOU WANT in it. or $14 at the corporate juice place (yes, it's a corporate business) and you walk out with a headache while shaking off the employee entitlement. I make a good living and actually live on the same street. I will never pay $14 for a juice on principle, I walk/run past this place and gladly treat myself to one on the corner. There is a misunderstanding that this is a hipster neighborhood, and it isn't. Hipsters don't actually live in Williamsburg. This is an older neighborhood despite what TImeOut has said. It wasn't "discovered" like Columbus discovered America. It doesn't need pretentious, terrible corporate assholes trying to put small specialty shop owners out of business. That's why people like to come to our neighborhood. I have a sneaking suspicion that every positive post on here is from someone who works there or has friends that do. People get to philosophical with their positive reviews. This place is getting one star because it was terrible. Maybe you have low standards, or maybe you don't mind waiting 20 min for juice. It is just a job like any other. My juice sucked, so does that mean I should be happy spending $14 just because they "worked really hard" to make it. Yelp is a place for people to give their opinions. Don't like it? Fuck off...there...thats my opinion. I've been looking for a juice/smoothie shop to call my own for a while, and for some reason I've had a hard time finding the perfect place. Well, I think my search is over - Juice Press might just be it. Here's why: * The juices are cold pressed and the smoothies are truly, truly delicious. I usually get #3 or #29 and I always feel like I'm getting a treat. And I feel high on yummy nutrients for hours afterwards. * The add-ons! So many places don't even offer an Omega3 boost. JuicePress has EVERYTHING from E3 algae, camu camu and elderberry extract to vegan DHA oil. * Their lime-marinated kale salad with avocado and nori is the bomb diggity. * They're on Seamless! This means that when I'm sick and whiny in bed, craving delicious cold-busting goodness (Ginger Fireball... TRY IT), all I need to do is reach for my phone. Price-wise, I don't understand the complaints. Juicing is a labor-intensive, fairly costly process. And do consider that a lousy, sugary smoothie from Jamba is like... $5. You get what you pay for here. Sure, I wish an average order didn't set me back $20, but the juices are high quality, the smoothie flavors are innovative and you can add all kinds of delicious, healthy add-ons for a quarter or two. To each their own, of course, but I'd rather skip happy hour a few days a month and spend the $ here. Juice Press I love you everyday. If I could afford to eat here on a daily basis, I would. Its just a little pricey but everything I've had from here satisfies me and keeps me full and healthy. I am very much into Juice Press and all their incredible creations. Is it expensive? Yes, it is. But you really can't put together this high quality of ingredients for a lower price. Smoothies will run you $9 or $10 but I don't think that's completely ridiculous considering the quality and how delicious they are. Way better than a cheapo $6 smoothie that's loaded with crap!!! It's your body - it's worth it. They also have great snacks and everything is labeled nicely so you know if what you're getting is vegan, gluten free, kosher etc. Highly recommend the heaven on earth or strawberry smoothies, they're my favorites but even the Green smoothie which I'm usually not a fan of (From other places) is beyond delicious. On Saturdays they run a promo in the AM where if you go for a run and tag #juicepress and #willrunforjuice you can take your photo in to any Juice Press and get a free juice!! Warning: "simple green" juice has 94% of daily recommended sodium. It tastes shockingly salty. So I checked the label. I couldn't believe it when I saw that half a bottle contains 1130 mgs of sodium. This is a grab and go location. If you're expecting them to sing a tune while they pick pre-made things out of a refrigerator for you, you're in the wrong Disney movie. The raw food is delicious. The juices are delicious. Yeah. It's expensive. I don't understand people who complain about prices. If you don't like them shop some where else. It's called capitalism. They deliver here on Seamless. So I called and was told they don't deliver here. Case closed. Even though its just down the road. I tried the Ginger Fireball by suggestion of one of the kids working in the store, as a result, I have had a case of loose sh*ts and a burning sensation in my stomach for the past 4 hours. The juice is great--- more rugged in taste then most (which seem watered down with cucumber) I find the vibe good as well. It's like the neighborhood spot, which is nice- in comparison to the Manhattan stores. The employees seem happy and after my first few visits, they recognized me and would put together my smoothie before I even ordered it. My new favorite thing is their coconut milk blended with raw chocolate balls. It's like a chocolate milkshake! This is without a doubt the best, most detailed, most organic, most comprehensive juice place in New York. Glad to have one in Williamsburg. The staff have taught me a lot and I'm grateful for that. It was daunted to get started on a raw juice lyfe - but they held my hand and eased me into it. Favorite is the spicy citrus - full of lemon and grapefruit rind (this has to be organic, the rind as it is sprayed with more toxic chemicals than fruit you eat directly, like an apple), ginger, and cayenne.
