Super cute spot with an amazing selection of vegan sandwiches and snacks!! I came in for a sandwich and left with a bagful of yummy vegan snacks for the week that I couldn't stop talking about. The "cheez it's" are thin crisp and utterly addictive. I finished the bag on the subway and almost turned around to get more. As someone who's plant based and always looking for natural swaps to some of my fave snacks, this place is it. The owner told me to try one of @alegriavegana's chocolate chip cookies and wow I'm so glad I got 2 lol. It's treats and cookies like this one that make people realize that going plant based may be less restrictive than they think!! read more

Their Drex2 sandwich is really good! Their ham and cheese (didn't get a pic) is also decent, I'd just recommend adding a little more of the seitan ham on it as mine had only one slice. This place is also extremely affordable, probably the most reasonably priced spot in the city. Will for sure come back! read more

Yough - Health Markets Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Next level vegan sandwiches!! Jaime, the owner, curates the best bread, vegan meat, vegan cheese, and spreads for her sandwiches, and each one is handcrafted with love. I was looking for a lighter/healthier option and LOVED the Patrick with tofu scramble, hummus, spring mix, and seitan turkey. The kombucha selection is eclectic and super cool, featuring brands from around the country and even abroad! When we visited, she had Hip Pop (UK), Kombucha Town (WA), Fermensch (CA), Marin (CA), and Baba's Bucha (PA). Every product in the store was chosen with love. What a cool store. I wish there was one of these in Manhattan! read more

Awesome spot with the best drink selection. Vegan sandwiches full of personality and flavor. Cant beat this spot. One of the best vegan sandwiches I've ever had! If you got the chance, you've got to check it out. Also love the music they have on here, keep doing your thing on aux. super creation combinations here. Wow, not surprised that Yough has a review of 5 stars across the board! This is a phenomenal bodega deli in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I'm not kidding when I say - the BEST vegan deli EVER. Jamie does not play. Great deli selections as well in terms of product. I love how you can customize your sandwiches and I also love the ones that are on the menu because the flavor combos are on point. I love the Mela drinks that they carry. Blessed to experience this gem :') I can't believe they perfected those deli meats and don't even get me started on that pretzel challah roll. I dream about when I'm returning to this place. The Drex is my absolute favorite and the Hannah is pretty good too. Also - great prices!!!!! read more

Loved this place, and can't wait to go back. The sandwiches were amazing and staff incredibly nice.

I ventured in this shop around 6pm! The store front is beautiful with bright colors. You go in and see so much! They have great vegan products such as chocolates , candies, chips, drinks, Mac & cheese, vegan sandwiches , vegan cleaning products, vegan ice cream and vegan sauces! You name it they got it. I was so hungry and the lady who made my sandwich was so helpful! And Jamie has beautiful energy and was very helpful as well! The sandwich was so tasty, flavorful, and has awesome components! You can make your own sandwich or choose from the menu! This place is super unique and you'll be so surprised on what you find! Please go check it out and get some munchies ;) read more

I drive out of my way for Yough sandwiches. Yes, I know they are ultra processed vegan products, but it's my splurge. They are so good I get two at a time and eat the 2nd sandwich later. On the last trip I randomly tried the popcorn. I finished the bag before I walked back to my car, when back to Yough and got another bag. How did I not know this entire time the popcorn was also so good? Please please pleas open a location next to me. read more

This place is fantastic. The owner Jaime is really friendly and fun to talk to. She clearly has dedicated an extensive amount of time to sourcing the items. (Example/ She told me she had put in serious time trying to track down this fantastic vegan dip only sold at small natural food stores in Santa Cruz I hadn't had in like 15 years. No luck, but she tried) They have a huge selection of items and carry stuff from masking tape to vapes to popcorn to fresh local bread. The seltzer and snack collection is unparalleled. Will be back. read more

Wow!!! This place is truly a rare gem with an incredible concept, delicious food, unique snacks and wares and super-friendly staff. I spent quite a bit of time chatting with the owner, Jaime, and her passion for creating a a conscientiously-sourced, refreshingly original, and inclusive business is evident and very contagious--she obviously loves what she does! The selections and offerings are vast and it will probably take me several more visits to really appreciate how much Yough has to offer (and I very much look forward to doing my "research"!) I can't recommend enough the Yough Sourdough sammy--I had it yesterday and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since! *currently drooling* Do yourself a huge favor and treat yourself to a visit (or seven) to Yough--and please grab me some Secret Aardvark Serrabanero sauce while you're there, thankssssssss! read more

i loveeeee this place - they have everything, everyone is super nice, and it's extremely affordable (for sandwiches etc) best place ever!!!

Their Marc Marion sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. I only wish I lived closer!

One must admire the dedication to delicious snackage of Yough. Cute and fun place with really great staff. I have been there a few times for casual snacks but recently indulged for lunch: a small soup, a small bag of chips, sandwich, and fancy pop for $18. The small but hearty sandwich was only 7 bucks. read more

Yough is FANTASTIC!! It's really nice to have a neighborhood spot akin to a Bodega with entirely vegan options! As a Bushwick native, less than a block away to have comparable food options and snacks, it's amazing for me, the neighborhood and vegetarian/vegan residents. Brit and Hannah were so lovely and helpful with what options Yough has for me. They were clearly passionate, and as vegans living in the area, also understanding of how important it is to have a spot like this with comparable prices to match - they sold me on Yough being my new everyday spot! I had the Sunday Sandwich - 100% recommend if you're looking for a BEC (Bacon, Egg and Cheese). But ALL the sandwich options look yummy! Go for it! :) read more
