I was working from home so I went there on my lunch break. When I walked inside I saw a few patrons sitting at tables. There was a a buffet style counter set up with the work staff behind it. Each of them greeted me as I walked toward the counter. I was asked what I wanted and I said thought instantly about the fried chicken I saw. I ordered that and the meal comes with three sides and cornbread as well. I chose mac and cheese, black eyed peas, and mash potatoes and gravy. The server rung me up and I took my plate to go. I can't remember the first thing I tasted when I got home. I believe it was the mac and cheese. It doesn't really matter. The sides were really good. Mac and cheese is usually my favorite side but I thoroughly enjoyed the black eyed peas. Don't get me wrong the mac and cheese was excellent but the peas were superb. The mash potatoes were creamy and the gravy was savory. The cornbread was the type that had the pieces of corn in it. I liked it. Now the main course was of course the chicken. It really looked and tasted like authentic homemade fried chicken. I loved the seasoning on the chicken. It was some of the best chicken I've had in a while. I definitely want to come back.

I'm a Dasher and I received a order to Mary's but upon arrival I ran into a common problem that…read moremany of us Dashers go through and that's when another dasher receives the order first.. gets there.. picks up the food but doesn't "confirm pickup" on the order because they steal the food or whatever the unfortunate case may be.. anyway, they told me that they already gave the order out, instead a nice employee did me a special favor by getting the entire order remade for me so that I would still able to be paid, so a special thank you to Abigail for that favor.

When we spoke to the manager, BACON (we were told that is his first name), he showed no remorse and made no effort to make things right. Just provided excuses for the lackluster service. There was no sincere apology, and we weren't offered so much as a complimentary appetizer for the extensive wait. A small gesture would have gone a long way. To top it off, there were multiple mistakes with our bills, which added more frustration at the end of an already disappointing night. Extremely disappointed in the poor communication, limited menu availability, and lackluster customer service. Although the food seemed fine, I am unsure whether our hunger masked any flaws by the time it arrived; the early letdown left a lingering impression.
