Walked in on a Saturday night at 8pm and was warmly greeted and seated in dining area. At first I was a little turned off because it appears that the tables are to close together and the floor is not level but within 10 minutes we settled in and I began to appreciate the cozy atmosphere. We sat next to a live tree that grows out of the floor and is decorated with glowing red lights. The walls are decorated with cool vintage signs. Within five minutes our drink and appetizer order was taken by a very friendly server. Service was very quick and we enjoyed the Chipolte chicken quesadilla while listening to the live 70/ 80's music. Cafe is small so bar area is very close and it's apparent that many locals get together and enjoy this cool casual hangout. For dinner my husband was very pleased with the skirt steak. I enjoyed the pan seared mahi-mahi fish tacos. It was spicy , the way I like it but others may not appreciate the hot surprise. We enjoyed our time here and was impressed with how well the staff worked together and took pride in what they were doing. Considering coming back for breakfast and I understand they serve a decent lunch. read more

Let's be serious! Fried shrimp the size of my Jeep tires (yeah they're stock but that still makes for a huge shrimp) and whatever that red salsa stuff was, BANGIN! Her taco platter with "4 tacos" could've cured hunger issues in 3 small countries. The mahi mahi was really really good. It's a great restaurant/bar. Their breakfast is wonderful! All diff kinds of Benedict's Try cbh Benedict with corned beef hash, or the pancakes I was there for dinner & had the marinated strip steak. It was probably the best I've ever had med rare, as I asked & she had the chicken in waffles which was also delicious. We stopped here for a few drinks . The place was crowded . Parking was minimal . This was my second visit . Unfortunately I was highly disappointed. First they claimed they didn't have hot water to make the hot buttered whiskey martini on the menu for my husband , then they didn't have the baileys to make two other drinks we wanted on the menu . Two in the group settled for Irish coffee with ingredient missing . Honestly we should have left in the beginning instead we had very mediocre drinks . Took my visiting family here for a late breakfast (party of 6) on Friday at noon and was seated right away. Was a little disappointed they didn't have their pumpkin pancakes as one of their breakfast specials but that's where the disappointment ended. We ordered the chicken & waffles, dog leg, french toast, JT's BLT, JT's classic (eggs benedict), omelet, and strawberry pancakes. We are the sharing type of family so I tasted it all and it was sooo good! The food came out hot (including the waffle!), they heated the syrup up for us, and flavor of the food was delicious! The homefries were perfectly crispy on the outside and cooked to perfection inside. The waffle was very tasty - not bland and not too sweet. The french toast were griddled to the proper toastiness of thick sliced challah. The eggs benedict was yummy even though I would have preferred a different cut of ham. I didn't taste either of the BLT's but those who got them enjoyed them and they told me their french fries were real potatoes and fried to perfection (french fries are my weakness but I was too busy stuffing myself with my generous portion of homefries to taste them). The pancakes were fluffy and tasty. Thank goodness we were going for a bike ride because we needed to ride this off! I came here with my mom for lunch a couple months back and the service was great we split a chicken sandwich and the veggie wrap. The chicken sandwich was great but the veggie wrap was awful. We still had a great time. Came here on a Saturday with my best friend for lunch. Our waitress was a sweetheart and very friendly. We ordered apps for our meal. The chicken quesadilla, giant pretzel, and chicken wings. We devoured the wings almost instantly lol. The quesadilla was delicious but wasn't a fan of the avocado lime sauce on the side, my friend loved it tho, too much lime in my opinion. The pretzel was very yummy as well. First time to this location . We were seated right away which was great. Their coffeee is amazing ! I usually need creamer sugar to enjoy my coffee and I had it with very little sugar no milk and it was so so good. Their home fries are really big chunks of seasoned potatoes. Poached eggs were cooked perfectly. There was a mix up on my toast and they quickly switched it out and apologized more than once. My friends got the French toast and they loved it. Bacon was crispy and the biscuits and gravy was very good. We were constantly checked on. Our plates were cleared quickly. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this location. read more

I could have sworn I left a review for this place already, but i guess I was wrong... so here it is! JTs has quickly turned into one of our favorite local spots for date night. So far, we've been here three times and every single thing we've ordered, from appetizers to main entree to dessert has been delicious. We are never disappointed, to the contrary, we are literally delighted any time we go. The first night we went we had wings and mussels (white sauce) and we loved them so much they've seriously become a staple every time we go. We split an entree... steak and mac and cheese and it was splendid. We also had their peanut butter funny bone desert which topped the whole dinner off perfectly. The service was excellent and even the chef came around to see if we were pleased. If I'm picky my only criticism is the coffee wasn't as fresh as it could have been. The second time we had wings and mussels again, but we got separate dinners. I had the fried shrimp and when I tell you it was cooked perfectly, I'm not kidding! I've never had shrimp with the most glorious batter and perfect "crunch" when you bite into it. It was magnificently fresh and just, well, awesome! We just went again on Valentine's Day and started off with their shrimp and corn bisque (which was a special). It was creamy and flavorful and we ate it right down to the last spoonful. I thought my husband would tackle the waiter when he tried to take the bowl too soon! LOL Of course we had wings and mussels again, and then shared their special heart shaped lobster ravioli. Another fantastic special that left us wanting more. I really cannot say enough good things about their food! Wanted to try somewhere different for breakfast and had an errand to run in the area of JT's Cafe. What a neat place! Kind of like a combo of vintage, rustic, and eclectic as far as decor--I LOVED it! I am one for eating "non-breakfasty" food at breakfast, so I ordered a crab cake, as well as my go-to breakfast food if it's on the menu: biscuits and gravy. Both were very good and I was grateful to get to try the crab cake at such an early hour even though normally it is a lunch/dinner menu item (hey, it pays to ask!). The gravy was very flavorful and while the biscuits were not the best I've ever had, they did the trick. Another part of our order was the "extreme bennie" which involved two eggs and sausage patties and a variety of veggies over an English muffin with Hollandaise sauce on top. This was served with home fries and enjoyed very much. Service was friendly enough but could have been little more attentive (especially at the end, when we were waiting for our bill). In need of some food fuel this past Saturday and looking for a nice brunch-esque spot near the brewery with the same name as the town, we (sister, friend and self) stumbled onto this place, with Yelp's help of course. JT's sits alone right near a busy intersection, so it's tough to miss (and really shouldn't be if you're hankering for some good grub). The outside looks a little like a woody roadside diner found upstate somewhere, except it's pretty clean cut. Head inside and get a completely different vibe. The left side is the main dining area with crimson booths and little tables all centered around the "tree" that's "growing" up the one post of the building. It's donned in glowing red lights and creates one of the more unique and original decorative styles I've ever encountered. Straight ahead is the small but respectable bar. The upper right side of said bar holds a rustic, maritime feel with vintage location signs and plenty of "Blue Point" logos. All the way to the right of that are a few high top tables and that's where we devoured our meal between two meals. The menu consists of two sides, one being mostly breakfast and the other mostly sandwiches and such. We all went for the early morning side. Sis got eggs Amsterdam style, my friend landed on the "Morning Glory" French toast, and I wisely chose "The Eggcellent Choice" breakfast sandwich, hence my great decision. But guess what? It wasn't a great decision......it was an amazing one! The sandwich consisted of French toast bread that was nicely browned and not soggy, locking in a good level of sweetness, along with thick salty bacon giving a great contrast of flavor. Don't forget the creamy pepper jack and fried eggs, of course, to create one wildly tasty concoction. The side of home fries were also nice in size, amount, and potato punch. Sis loved her eggs and my friend consumed all traces of any French toast (which looked incredible by the way). It took a little time for the meal in its entirety as service wasn't speedy, but while waiting, we looked up on the wall near the dining area and read the little blurb about a full service meal taking time and enjoying the company you're with. I can't argue with that thinking and from how the meal went, I also respect it. Overall, JT's blew me away with originality through the personality of the restaurant itself and most importantly through its dishes. By the end of the meal I was already texting my girlfriend to let her know we'll be making a breakfast (and maybe lunch?) trip here sometime soon. read more

JTs cafe is not only a refreshing replacement of the old Sage, it is a reboot of JTs on the bay, with a much much much better operating system. This is JTs 2.0. I alway wanted the spot on the bay to be better for their outlandish prices and now we have it! I want to welcome them to their new home as they welcome us all to try out the bangin' sandwiches and laid back atmosphere. Go check them out and you may find it a bit eerie how the sage feel is still there but with a better, brighter vibe and open, airy landscape. Interesting how you can still see some leftovers of the sage. It's family friendly but I'm not, so I recommend sitting at the bar and grabbing anything off this menu as you'll have to come back and try more every time until you have your faves. Service is good, the omelets are good, but the Mac and cheese and sandwiches are where it's at, dope recipes for sure. Can't wait to try dinner. I'll post lots of pics over the course of the next couple of months because I plan on eating my way through the menu after our first couple of orders. AMAZING Atmosphere & Decor, Delicious Food, Friendly Service I've been hearing about JT's from multiple people for quite some time now. Between word of mouth & glowing Yelp reviews, I have been dying to come to this cafe. Today 7/25 was the day! Located at the end of Nicholls Road on Montauk Hwy, the cafe is extremely easy to get to! Parking is a bit tough due to the lot being small but when I went for breakfast today there were a few spots available. Such a relaxed vibe with awesome decor! I loved the theme of the cafe. Small place so beware you may have to wait but believe me it's worth it! This would be a great place for a date, catching up with friends for drinks or even family dinner...they have live music some nights (check their social media for dates). Service was satisfactory, all of the staff were very friendly & welcoming. My Waitress Holly did a great job serving me. Food was the star of the show! The Breakfast & Lunch Menu is large with so many yummy options! They also have some excellent specials that change weekly. The food portions are larger than I thought (which is a great thing to me)...portions didn't look big in pictures but pictures can be deceiving, I was stuffed when I left. I will review what I tried- Double Dutch French Toast: Like a work of art! I love the presentation of the dishes here! The french toast was perfectly cooked. Came with 2 slices of toast cut into halves. Loved the caramelized apples and the fresh whipped cream made the dish even more tasty! Cute place! Service was a little slow but I think that was due to covid limiting the staff. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We were sat down right away. We got appetizers and meals. The wings were delicious and calamari was good too. My husband felt like this burger could have been better (the bun didn't seem as fresh as it should have) but my quesadilla was good, aside from it being so hot I couldn't hold it. Here's the Scoop: My honey and I was in the Patchogue area so we invited our son to lunch and he told us to meet him at JT's. Upon driving in there's a small/ medium sized parking lot that was just about full. We thought oh boy. Heading in the dining room wasn't big but proportioned well. There's booth, table and counter seating as well as outdoor. We were greeted as we entered and immediately escorted to a table. Menus and cold water served quickly. The menu has fabulous breakfast /lunch entrees and lunch specials. The descriptions of the food items made my mouth water while reading. I didn't know what to order. I finally decided to order the pastrami and my honey the corn beef Reuben's. We also ordered the Waldorf salad. We split the sandwiches and salad so we could sample both. They were delicious!! Rye bread was toasted and buttered with melted Swiss cheese. My son ordered the French toast. It was huge and delicious looking. Piled high on his plate with strawberries, banana and whipped cream and a side of sausage. Oh my goodness I'm ordering that next time. This place is definitely bookmarked on my great food list. My fellow Yelpers JT's is a must. Make sure you come with a hearty appetite because portions are large. read more

Went there on a Saturday morning and the place was busy! It took a while to be seated since they were reserving alot of tables for a big party coming in, but once we were sat, we had a waiter at our table almost immediately. My fiancé got a bacon egg & cheese sandwich and i got a breakfast quesadilla; both were incredible. The only thing i disagree with is their live music. They had live music in the corner with a saxophone player. It was nice and he was very talented, but it was a little too loud for breakfast lol read more

Our 2nd time here was a a week or so ago on a very cold and rainy night. We figured we'd get out of the house for an early dinner. The food was delicious and our waitress was nice but my night was literally ruined by a gentleman who came in with two young children who were adorable but both had terrible coughs, one much worse than the other. The bartender made a 'joke' by saying they're like a "Petri dish". They were walking all around the restaurant which is not big, because apparently they were the bartenders children. With all the sicknesses going around these days, I felt strongly that it would be far better to keep sick kids home on a nasty night, maybe cuddling up with some take out. Jokes about them being walking Petri dishes are not actually funny in today's day & what we've all dealt with. We were quite annoyed that we had to pay $85 for a dinner and be worried about picking up something from them running by constantly with really bad coughs. Hankering for some solid breakfast, my mom and I were both off the day before the Fourth we had some business to take care of on the South Shore it's time to pull out the trusty Yelp app. There were a few places in mind but the pictures and menu led us here. So we ordered the following: - Decaf Coffee: Mom's. - Sail Away Cold Brew: Moi. Every breakfast should include a glass of Sail Away Cold Brew. I'm just saying people. - Eggs Benedict: Mom's. She asked for toast on the side instead of English muffin cooked medium. First it came out with the toast underneath the eggs. So she asked for it to be on the side. Then the eggs and toast reappear but no butter on said toast. She then asked for butter which it seemed like it was brought over by waitstaff in a bit of a huff. She also said her eggs were a little underdone which she can't stand but didn't want to complain any further to avoid any issues from waitstaff. - Eggs and Biscuits: Mine. I ordered mine with scrambled eggs more well done. I know it's weird but I hardly, HARDLY, ever order eggs out. If I have eggs it's usually either scrambled eggs or an omelet. Otherwise I usually get pancakes because I can't stand underdone eggs. Let me just tell y'all something. These biscuits could've been bigger but the sausage gravy... y'all it took me right back to Georgia. Seriously. Solid Southern Gravy for sure! So grateful that they put it on the side. Got to dip my biscuit into the gravy. My eggs had a little gravy... yum yum YUM! Will I be back?! You betcha. Wow I can't believe I drove past this place over 1000x. Went in for brunch on Sunday they had a 2 piece band playing which was nice in addition to the football games on the many TVs. But the food was top notch and this was exactly what we were looking for. The plates were big and the food was fresh, you will leave with a full stomach. Great food but extremely rude bartender with brown hair and brown eyes.. flipped out yelling when my friend tried to take a picture of the cool signs they had hanging. If you want a great breakfast that isn't diner-style or IHOP, JT's is a really good choice. It is far better than some of the other "fancy" breakfast or brunch options in the area like Brownstones or Toast, very affordable, and the food is outstanding. They have great weekly specials. The best thing I ever had at JT's was a fried chicken "benedict." Biscuits as the bottom, grilled ham, fried chicken, poached eggs, and sausage gravy. So so delicious. read more

Best nitro cold brew coffee I've ever tasted!!! I repeat. Best nitro old brew coffee I've ever tasted! I'd almost write this entire review about it, but there's more to be said. Let me just say though that this drink requires no add-ins (milk or sweetener) and should be drank exactly as is. It has a perfectly mellow coffee flavor with a natural sweetness. Unbelievable! My friends and I came here as a first stop for my bachelor party as a recommendation from Josh G. (one of many for the day). Walking inside I absolutely loved the ambiance, as it feels a bit like a beach shack but much cleaner and cooler (in both senses of the word). For brunch here, I ordered a breakfast skillet special, which came complete with breakfast potatoes, toast, and of course scrambled eggs with sundried tomatoes, spinach, broccoli and turkey. Delicious! The eggs were cooked to perfection and the ingredients savory and perfectly proportioned. My amigos ordered a couple of breakfast burritos and one crab cake, as well as a personalized breakfast skillet. Everybody loved their meals as well. Staff here is great as well, friendly and efficient. Prices are more expensive than a diner, but well worth it and nothing beyond what it should be for the quality you get. Easy 5 stars!! 2.5 stars Ordered a mango shake and I saw a yellow substance at the bottom of my glass which I assume was mango but all I tasted was vanilla ice cream so I paid $6 for a 12 oz vanilla shake. I got the patty melt with fries. My patty melt was dry but the fries were good and well seasoned. I don't live in the area so I won't be making my way back here anytime soon. read more
