No Teaism location should have under 4 Yelp stars for the sake of their menu offering and food…read morequality alone. Oh, I love the innovation and flavours at Teaism. My go-to: the cilantro scrambled eggs with tea-cured salmon. Where else can you order scrambled eggs with salmon in the DC area or maybe even the entire northeastern seaboard? I don't know but I've only ever been able to get my eggs with salmon here and at a DC gourmet family diner chain since learning of the deliciousness of salmon-with-breakfast in Valdez, Alaska. The Salty Oat cookies, at each of their 3 locations, are divine sustenance. You cannot just have 1 of any of the 3 flavors. You will likely need to take home a whole pack with you. And resent sharing them with the family. I love the hot chai with Indian spices, milk and ginger that I reviewed at their DuPont Circle location. I've tried pots of tea but nothing matches the Chai. I would also like to try the iced sweet matcha bubble tea. My other go-to: give me the salmon bento box, please! I hope they never take this off of the menu because it is deliciousness. The current menu says it comes with: yuzu dipping sauce, a broccoli and orange fennel vinaigrette, a potato medley, miso dipping sauce and rice. Over time, the sides that accompany it change. Like seasonally and with trends, you know. 5 meows. Oh, and I do love their French toast, as well. It's so brunchy here. This location is more spacious and closer to DC's national museums. #localtastebyjenny

I didn't love all the vegetables they included on the skewer - the Brussels were undercooked and the cabbage over-charred. But otherwise the dish was very good. The green tea lassi beverage sounded unique but was too sweet and difficult to drink. The space got crowded, so make sure you snag a spot quickly if you visit during peak lunch hours.

Luna Hall was okay. It wasn't very crowded, didn't have many vendors, and felt a little empty and…read morerun down. Not a very nice or cozy ambiance or where I'd want to hang out. The food was quick to get and decent quality, although a little overpriced considering how low key the place is. I visited on a Thursday around 6 PM. The place has a bar and bakery near the front, which I didn't check out. In the back are ~5 food stalls and each has signs for different vendors, but in reality it didn't seem like all the vendors were still operating. It was hard to tell because all the stalls share the same menu and you order from the same place (two tablets near the front). Tonkotsu Ramen (~$16) and Scallion Pancakes with Beef (~$11). They were prepared quickly. I expected the pancakes to be twice as large for the price. They tasted fine, I liked them. The ramen was served with broth on the side and came with pork, eggs, corn, bean sprouts, and a few other bits. It was pretty good but nothing special.

I love the idea, I wish it had more tables and wasn't so hot…read more There aren't a ton of options, but what they have are all great and a decent variety. I love there's a full bar, bakery, milk tea, poke and dumplings. When we got there at 7 pm on a Wednesday there was a police officer at the door. There wasn't one when we left at 8 pm. You need a code to get in the restroom and it's printed at the bottom of the receipt. There aren't a ton of tables, but we got one and there were plenty when we left. It was hot in July, so if you can I'd suggest grabbing and going. However, the tables by the front are cooler than in the back so it's not bad if you find one by the front. Overall this is a great concept and I'm a huge fan.

The restaurant I very clean and the decorations are really pretty. We ordered soup dumplings and noodles and our food was ready really fast. I ordered the veg spicy and sour noodles and they come with an egg and crispy pieces of corn and a lot of boi hot which I love. The flavor was spicy with a hint of lime for the sour flavor. My husband ordered the beef noodle soup and he said it tasted amazing. Our chicken soup dumplings were full of flavor and a lot of broth inside. This place is really similar to Yu noodles which is one of my favorite places so if I'm ever in the area again I would go to this place for soup dumplings. Our server was really sweet as well.

Our order was brought out faster than I expected, with our mains coming up before the apps. Although not as spicy as I was hoping for, the spicy mapo tofu with noodles was really good. Of course I had to add ground pork for a few dollars more! To drink I had the strawberry fruit tea (50% sugar), which was good and refreshing. I also tried the pan fried dumplings and spicy wontons in chili oil. Both were just okay. I'll be back when I'm in the area to try out additional items.
