Lunch

We had the clubhouse and the Veggies sandwich both with the upgrade to clam chowder. It was all very good. The service was great. In addition this place is very busy.

Haddock Sandwich

This place is on point! My husband had the Mozzarella Ham sandwich ( he was actually humming) and I fell in love - yes, I loved it - with my Haddock Sandwich. A very generous portion of fish on a tasty, crusty bun and homemade tartar sauce. I was asked if I wanted to substitute my fries for poutine.......of course. What a heavenly combination. Our waitress was Kaylee (?) and she was fantastic. To round out a perfect experience: They offer a military appreciation discount.

Club sandwich

Waitstaff was quick, attentive and friendly. I got a club sandwich. It was HUGE! Prices aren't bad either. If we are ever in the area again we will go back!

Seafood pasta.

This place from the outside looks different from the inside. It is a very nice big place. A very big bar area. Very well done. Very good food and beer selection. I got the seafood pasta and wife got fish sandwich. Was impressed on the amount of fish. The only odd thing was the potato skin appetizers. Thought the strip steak was odd to put on top of it. But really everything else was great. Enjoy

Some of the best food I've ever had at a restaurant. I am here on vacation with my kids, and I think we are eating here again tonight!

Great fisherman's stew. A busy place, lots of locals, friendly bartender. Your basic 'where I would go regularly if I lived here' place

Hot sandwiches are decent. Buffalo Rangoon's are the best tasting appetizer on the menu.

Not really worth the money or the time. The food was bland and greasy. Subway would have been more satisfying, and we do not like subway.

We loved the beautiful Notch Grille at The Glen House. Delicious options for breakfast, lunch and…read moredinner. Friendly and accommodating staff especially with families. We loved our experience and stunning mountain views.

We ate here a few years ago and had a good experience, but I assume either management or the chef…read morehas changed since our recent time spent at The Notch Grille was a poor experience. I am doing this review to help other travelers and hopefully the restaurant makes some improvements. Service: Expect to wait at least 5-10 minutes to get seated on the restaurant side. Expect more to get a server on the lounge side. Don't expect coffee refills or anyone to come over to ask how your meal is and if you want another drink. Food: Oh boy. Where do I even begin? The Caesar salad was served on a small plate making it hard to mix up the salad without it spilling all over the table. The croutons were hard as a rock, couldn't eat them as I was afraid I would crack a tooth. Asked for grilled shrimp cooked well. Barely cooked. Flatbread pizza...it was OK, but the bread was not cooked at all so really doughy and hard to handle. Naan bread can be toasted, doesn't need to be uncooked. French fries: both regular and truffle....both were served basically raw. Looked cooked on outside, but inside was literally raw potato. Insane. Eggs: I believe they are liquid egg and not real cracked eggs. Get friend not scrambled if you want actual fresh eggs. Home fries: they were also raw. I don't think they know how to cook potatoes? Squash special: the actual squash was raw and hard as a rock. Was it meant to be a decorative element only and the goat cheese was the only thing people are meant to eat? Why call it a special if you can't eat the squash? I ordered pancakes thinking that was safe. I am not joking when I say that I had RAW batter in my pancake. How can you serve pancakes not fully cooked? My partner's order had this weird taste to it, like his were cooked on a really dirty grill. there was this weird after taste. How can you ruin pancakes? Well, this place did. I over heard others at the restaurant complain about the duck salad and that their order was wrong. I saw people getting the wrong dishes as well. And people brought in coffee and tea from the free area into the dining area because they knew it would take at least 10 minutes to be waited on after being sat, so they came prepared with their own beverages. There's just not enough staff. You have one person setting up a conference room who is also being the hostess/host trying to sit people, but people end up sitting themselves since they stand there for 15 mins waiting to be seated. It's really a hot mess. The Notch Grille is not a spot I would suggest eating at. It has a great view, so my suggestion is to have a cocktail at the bar and that's it. It's really too bad because I will never stay at the Glen House Inn again purely because of how bad the restaurant is. They could have something great here, but the food is really bad. I hope this review helps fellow travelers out and that the Glen House Inn steps it up, as this restaurant is making the hotel lose business.

I should have read the reviews. We went on Sunday and learned that there was but the brunch menu…read more Not the large menu online but one with I believe six choices. Not really suitable for a vegetarian. We were seated promptly, and asked for coffee. The coffee was scalding. We added ice and learned it was hot and horrible coffee. We placed our order and waited 30 minutes for our food. Server never came by to tell us this, I had to find him at the front of the restaurant hanging out with some friends. He went and checked on the order and it arrived 5 minutes later. Ordered the eggs, toast, seasoned tator tots and fruit bowl. Toast only available in white bread and the seasoned tator tots were over fried plain tator tots that were served cold. The fruit bowl was mostly green grapes with a few blueberries and strawberries. Omni should close this place and start over. Lazy staff, ordinary and over priced food. There's a gas station next door - service is better there.
