Chicken fingers are fantastic
Nat S.

For the limited choices in the mountains and restaurants that hold patrons hostage as they are often hungry AF this was everything and beyond my expectations. Entered the bar area. The bartender was carrying in a great smelling tray of made in house chicken fingers and pizza. She yielded to us but I motioned her along and enjoyed ogling the vittles. I asked about what she recommended and it sounded like most everything was pretty good, but said the chicken fingers were epic and the pizza were go tos. I ordered the chicken fingers with the spiciest hot sauce and blue cheese on the side. They were some of the best chicken fingers I've eaten in NH, hot, moist inside great fry and a crunchy batter. I'm a big fan of the ones at Smuttynose brewing on the Seacoast. I think the Puritan is overrated! Had a couple drinks and ordered a pizza to go. The restaurant had a nice blend of locals and passer throughs I would totally come back here and order snacks and drinks!

In Gorham NH. Placed order over phone for pick up.(on vacation) Chicken tenders, potato wedges, chicken wings and sandwich. Was told 25 minutes. Waited 30 minutes being Friday night. Got there and was told be just another minute. While waiting I took a look at their menu on the counter. Wedges said loaded (did not say that on line) Told waitress needed them plain. Husband can't have cheese. She went in the back and said they were just starting them so caught them in time. Great or so I thought. Ended up sitting and waiting for over an hour for my food from time I ordered. And I wasn't the only one. Got back to room opened containers to eat and potatoes were raw(looked boiled) wings burnt and covered in pepper. Tenders had a nasty taste like bad oil or something. Was a HUGE waste of our money. All I could eat was sandwich. Husband couldn't eat any of it. Would definitely not recommend. In all of our travels over the years this was by far the worst meal to date.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat. I opted for the chicken Parmesan sub which was a daily special. It was made with freshly breaded real chicken breast. It was topped with pasta sauce that had peppers in it (not a fan of green peppers) and covered with mozzarella cheese. I opted to have sweet potato fries as a $2 up charge. The other sandwich was a homemade meatball sub with sweet potato fries. I only gave it 4 stars due to the service being meh

Veg Out plus Pepperoni

We had a lovely dinner of pizza and salad. The Veg Out pizza was amazing! Toppings piled high. Great flavor. Our server was very helpful, saying they had a side salad though it wasn't on the menu. She was polite and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, clean and well maintained.

Chicken and steak- came with cranberry sauce for some reason and canned peas and carrots

Not a lot of options in the small town but we made a bee line to Mr. Pizza when we saw there was a dine in option and it was freezing outside. I actually really liked the decor; it was warm and very inviting and made you feel welcomed, as was the service. The food was what disappointed me. My boyfriend ordered the steak and chicken and it came oddly with something like cranberry sauce and some gray peas that looked like they were dumped out of a can. I ordered the chicken parmesan and while both my boyfriend's chicken and mine were fried really well, there was no flavor to it. Usually restaurants tend to over salt chicken parm dishes, but mine tasted like it had no seasoning whatsoever. The spaghetti was way overdone, mushy and the sauce tasted like it was from a can as well. Again, while I didn't enjoy the food, the service was nice.

The pizza we ordered.

Long wait times, 45+ minutes. The smash burger was pretty good. There was some strange smells coming from the kitchen however.

The Pie Hole - Italian sub, no green pepper - banana peppers instead!

This casual pizza and sandwich shop is geared towards takeout with a spacious floor area, drink cooler, Cruisin' World arcade game, Big Buck Hunter Pro game, Dr. Dude pinball machine, Toy Taxi (skill crane for stuffed animal prizes), and two lawn chairs. There is nice masonry tables outside to enjoy your food. They offer traditional & specialty pizzas (10" & 16" pies), pizza slices (when available), hot & cold subs, paninis with Lays chips, Humpty Dumpty bagged chips, and Coke products in the cooler. I ordered a Reuben Panini ($10 plus tax) and a Slice of Pepperoni Pizza ($3 plus tax), which was heated up in the oven and brought out to me while I waited for the panini to be ready, 10 minutes later. The Pepperoni Pizza Slice was topped with right amount of red sauce, plenty of pepperoni slices and melted cheese on top of a firm soft thin crust. The Reuben Panini was cut in half and overflowing with grilled thin sliced deli corned beef, melted cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing between toasted rye bread. The panini was very tasty and I barely finished one half of the panini and saved the other half for a late night snack with the small bag of Lays potato chips.

Subs weren't available. Hours are variable (as is the delivery they claim is available). And the…read morepizza is the spat pizza I've ever had. Dominoes is significantly better. Only reason for second star is for being open on a Tuesday when no one else was.

I love trying something different, and Tartaglia's Pizza did not disappoint! On my recent visit, I…read moretried their special with red sauce, organic spinach, mozzarella blend, andouille sausage, roasted red onion, red potatoes, Grana Padano, maple syrup, and ricotta. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical about the potatoes and maple syrup at first, but somehow it all came together perfectly. Honestly, my biggest mistake was only ordering one! The pizza was absolutely amazing and definitely one of those pizzas you keep thinking about afterward. The place itself is small, cozy, and welcoming, with a really nice outdoor seating area. The staff was very friendly, but what I especially loved was listening to them interact with their customers. I overheard someone mention that they've been there for about 10 years, and you can tell they've built some wonderful relationships with the people who keep coming back. I loved hearing the staff ask customers about their families and catch up with them. You could tell from the conversations that they remember not only their regular customers, but their families too. That kind of personal connection is something you don't find everywhere. Between the incredible pizza and the welcoming, neighborhood feel, this was such a great find. I can't wait until I'm back in the area to see what special they come up with next. Next time, though, I'm definitely ordering more than one!

It was tasteless, burned on the bottom (and not just dark but tasted burned) and felt like it needed more of everything, except time in the oven. How can a pizza not be salty enough? No flavor in the sauce and the cheese was some sort of cheap low-moisture part-skim mozzarella imitation blend. The pizzas were SMALL despite having ordered 2 larges and to top it off, they were expensive for what we got. You spend over $40 and you expect larger pies. These were the same size as most smalls you get; can't imagine how small their smalls are. Overall a bad experience, a bad pizza, overpriced and tip suggestions starting at 20% smh. Should've gone to Chesleys right down the street. Much cheaper and much tastier.
