We came here as a recommendation from a local business. We wanted to sit outside and it seemed like the waiter didn't really want to do that so she told us that the sun would be hitting us too much and she wanted to sit us inside? --- ok what ever. We set down got our drinks ordered our food. And just couldn't get her attention after that. We got served by another waiter more than by our own. My kids needed ketchup and refills and I was about to get them myself. If it wasn't for the other waiter paying attention to her tables and others we wouldn't have been served. Food came it was good. Big portions But lacked a little more flavor. The mashed potatoes and gravy was very blend. Tasted like something I would order at the hospital after surgery. We boxed all our food. Didn't even eat it. read more

Where do I begin. Ordered wings (8) asked to have 4 with chili sauce and 4 with extreem. Nope they can't do that, you have to have two separate orders. Menu states jumbo in wings, nope, just regular small chic wings, "extreme"were not extreme, tasted like regular wings with Franks hot sauce, barely hot at all. They use to do a combo seafood, pic two of three seafood for a combo. Nope , don't do that anymore either. Pic only one. I picked scallops, cole slaw and onion rings. Scallops were absolutely tasteless, definitely previously frozen, truly tasteless. Onion rings were "Oreida" frozen rings , cole slaw was marginal. Next, ordered 10" chicken pesto pizza. Looked great! Chicken, dry as a bone and tough, crust doughy, not thoroughly cooked. Wait person, very nice and attentive. Needless to say we didn't need a box to bring leftovers home, left everything! We ate in the bar area, dark colored walls, nothing special and was cold. Im never this hard on reviews but there was nothing god about this whole meal other than the beer was good and cold. read more

Great wedge salad. Since they closed last July and finally was bought, new owners not using the same recipe for pizza crust. Crust is either frozen or the chef is really good at imitating it. This is really made worse as the name is still MR pizza, would make you think its their signature product. read more

The manager at the motel we stayed out recommended this place for us. We were road weary and didn't want to go far, so the distance certainly played into our decision. The restaurant was clean and offered both indoor and outdoor seating. All staff were wearing masks. Service was prompt and friendly, food was hot, beer was cold and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely eat here again on a future trip to the area. Shop small! read more

My family, a party of 4 went in there Friday, 10/27/2023 about 7 pm. We were vacationing for the weekend. There were plenty of empty tables the parking lot was not full at all. We were told by the hostess that the wait was going to be about 20 minutes. So we decided to sit and wait. While we were waiting another party came in. At that point she went to the kitchen to ask about how long of a wait. She came back out and told my party and the other party she could seat us but she had no idea when we would be served food. At this point my party walked out along with the other party. I don't know if they were short staffed but to not even be able to put a time on when or if you would receive your food order is unacceptable. I used to visit Mr. Pizza every time I would visit Gorham and always loved the food and atmosphere. I haven't been in about 3 years, very disappointed. read more

We will never go again. The night of the Riverfire we went have dinner. It was later in the night. Tables of people had complained about the wait time. It took 11/2 hours for unedible food . Tables walked out and never paid. I have never seen such unfriendly staff, and disorganization of a restaurant. If you are short staffed, do not make excuses, and close part of the restaurant if you can't handle it. This restaurant has alot of issues to fix. Pizza should not be bendable . Get better help, cooks etc. You also need to dress it up inside. It is not inviting at all. read more

Delicious half boats and great service! Would get five stars but the wait was a little long.... not bad because food was worth it, but still. Has two entrance options. To the left for dining which has a big enough area to seat about 100 people, to the right was the bar entrance which is also accessible from the dining area. In between both entrances is the pickup counter for those who order in which is a big plus! You don't have to walk through a crowd to pick up your order. We were staying in a local hotel and realized the delivery guy at various bed and breakfast plus inns throughout our stay, so delivery is available and they go straight to your room door. read more

Mr Pizza - Half boats with celery, buffalo chicken, cheese and ranch, an order of buffalo chicken tenders and a small cheese pizza for the table. - Pizza Near Me - Gorham, New Hampshire

This restaurant reminds me of a delicious family owned restaurant that used to be open in Massachusetts but was sadly shut down.. its the kind of place you want to go to try everything on their menu because of how delicious their food is! We went here while visiting friends in New Hampshire and it was so yummy we just had to come back! Their spaghetti, burgers, chicken parm and Jax sticks were amazing! I HIGHLY recommend the Jax sticks they were the best beer battered jack cheese sticks ever and much better than mozzarella sticks! We will come back and try more items on their menus! As for their pizza, I ordered their chicken ranch bacon pizza which was good but not spectacular! I think their other items are better choices! My fiancé got the fish and mashed potatoes and thought it was the perfect combination & better than with fries! Yummy yummy! read more

Visited Mr Pizza on our way back from Santa's Village. Food was good, and service was excellent. Our daughter loved her kid's meal, which came with a special souvenir cup. A very memorable experience for her, so thank you!! read more

Our fried seafood was cooked perfectly and was fresh. Our waitress was attentive. The kitchen was backlogged and slow. We waited 45 min for two simple fried meals. The new owners have kept the feel of the old restaurant. read more

Late lunch, early dinner, nicely decorated sports bar. Service was very good, Jessica Bloody Mary average, good selection of local beer on draft. Clam roll was excellent, good substitute for Ipswich whole belly from Maine. Pizza just fair, nachos same Very extensive menu Will give it one more try. read more

So glad we stopped here for lunch. Totally impressed by new ownership, the atmosphere and food. Meatball subs, onion rings and small pizza for the 3 of us. Perfect in all ways. The onion rings were superb. Service was attentive, quick and personable. We will definitely return. Mr. Pizza will be our restaurant of choice from now on. read more

We ordered a pizza and it was delivered in a timely manner, but respectfully it made everyone who ate it want to puke bad.

I have been to Mr. Pizza many many times. I always do enjoy their fish and chips and their subs are good. I do like their selection of draught beer. Oh and their onion rings are awesome actually. Wayyy to big of a menu. No need for over 100 items. The times we have gone to eat here over the past couple years have not been the greatest. Service is deathly slow. Waited 45 minutes for appetizers the other night, plus my friend didn't get his order for another 10 min. They still charged him and even when we said something about how long it took for his order, nothing was done to remedy it. Another time we got a brownie sundae that smelt burnt. The brownie was burnt and was hard as a rock. Returned it and got another one. Got corn chowder and it was nasty. All it was was canned cream style corn. I kid you not! As far as quality of service, it's up and down. Depends on who you get. read more

On the way back from our Mount Washington hike we needed some pizza so we called for takeout. The place was very busy with tourist, but the food was ready on time and hot. Let me be clear this is NH pizza not New York pizza. But it served the purpose and was very good. We got a plain pizza and two small white thin crust spinach and cheese pizzas. The Thin crust was the best and came with some tasty red dipping sauce. Service at the counter was very nice and we would not hesitate to return read more

Went here for dinner to try after it sold to new management. We waited 30 minutes to be seated which was fine but once we were seated we sat for 20 minutes at a table without anyone coming to see what we wanted to drink. We finally had to go tell the front desk that nobody was acknowledging us. When we walked up to the front desk the host made direct eye contact and proceeded to continue on an irrelevant rant and ignored the fact that we were standing right there. They claimed nobody saw us even though we saw several servers look at us and walk by. When the server finally came, she was an older lady that was immediately rude to us. A friend in my party of 4 asked what mixed drinks they could make because they did not have an alcohol menu. The older lady responded rudely with "I don't know what do you want". My friend requested a drink and she came back almost 10 minutes later to tell them that they could not make it. My friend asked what they could make and the lady got annoyed and rudely said "what do you mean" and made them feel as though she was crazy for asking what drinks they could make. They then settled for water to avoid any more conflict. Once we ordered our food, it took about 20-25 minutes for appetizers and about 20-25 more minutes for our main meal. The food was not good. The mac and cheese was watery, the pizza was soggy, and the rest was very basic. The prices are high for low quality food and the service was even worse. We were there for a total of 2 and a half hours. I have never had a server be so rude in my entire life. Will not be going again. read more

Massive portions and giant beers. We stopped in after the Mt. Washington bike race and sat outside on the deck. It was really hot so we were the only ones out there but there is a nice brook that runs behind the deck and made for a peaceful meal. The loaded nachos were messy but delicious. We had to ask for silverware but it started things off with a bang. The angus burger was excellent. A beefy patty smothered with cheese and a generous portion of bacon. The fries were forgettable and I would recommend trying either the chips or another option, but the burger was outstanding. Other members of my party got the steak and cheese sub, which was mammoth, and a calzone that was also large. While we didn't have any pizza, the dishes we did enjoy were tasty and incredibly filling. No frills with this place, just solid food and LOTS of it!! Would go again in a heartbeat. read more

Mr Pizza - The steak and cheese sub that never ended. - Pizza Near Me - Gorham, New Hampshire

Good food. Good price. Great low key atmosphere. Visiting from out of town, Mr. Pizza was recommended by the hotel we were staying at. Definitely a solid choice. They have much more than just pizza, but they're pizza is solid as well. Salads, soups, fish, steak, wraps, you name it. We sat at the bar and had a great time talking with the bartender and locals while watching the football game. Definitely recommend. read more

This used to be our favorite place to eat (We'd drive 45 miles to get there!) before it changed hands. Now, not so much. This summer they offered a double lobster roll dish we would split for around $25. It was pretty good. We went there today, and they changed it to one lobster roll for $22. So we tried the chili and Italian sub. The chili was pretty good with fresh tortilla chips, and so was the coleslaw side I ordered. However, the sub came with cold fries, and was topped with PICKLED ONIONS! Ugh, disgusting. At $14, this was way too much for this somewhat small sandwich, since it was not very good. I really hate when restaurants charge too much for a soda, especially since it costs them only pennies per glass to produce. At $3.50, it seemed excessive, though they are all doing it. This place used to be reasonable and had an awesome menu. But the new owners took the colorful and cheerful sports bar atmosphere and turned it into almost a funeral home environment, with black and dark green woodwork everywhere; no pictures, no TVs. And the music was a bit too loud and "pop" genre. It kills me when places do not evaluate their clientele and provide them with appropriate music. Most diners mid-day mid-week are old retired people and HATE that kind of music. I guess they like making the servers happy instead! Probably won't be back here, gave them two chances. read more

Nice environment, pleasant staff. Food was clean. Ordered mini calzone sausage and peppers. Needs marinara but clean and fresh tasting ingredients. Also ordered chicken parm. Chicken crispy and met basic expectations. Pasta overcooked and plain. Would return for pizza and calzone next time. Prices good. Dinners range 8-10/per person. Pizzas $15+. Nice little country store attached. read more

Yes Yelpers, Mr Pizza has closed, due to COVID, inflation, and the depression caused by the unrelenting stress of the small business owner.

When I came inside the restaurant I waited a couple minutes before the young girl that appeared to be the hostess acknowledged me came over. She asked how many in my party and then let me know another couple was ahead if me. I am a huge fan of Rueben sandwiches, so much so that when I see them on the menu I always order it. I was disappointed in the lack of corned beef on my sandwich that I will def never order it again. My waitress was new and seemed to be more preoccupied with other tables than checking back with my table to see if I was satisfied with my meal that did not even have fries with. I am not sure what is going on, If there has been a huge turnover of staff but I was not satisfied with my experience this time around. read more

I mostly keep coming back for nostalgia purposes. My friends and I would hit them up ice cream and brownie sundaes in the summertime and their jack sticks have always been a favorite. After a day of thru-hiking this is not the worst dinner. After a normal day I'm not sure the calorie to taste ratio is worth it. We found Mr. Pizza to have efficient service, large portions and yummy food. There were six people in our party and everyone ordered something different ranging from a sandwich to a dinner. The night we came to Mr. Pizza we had been rafting all day so we were pretty dang hungry. We got a great table outside right next to the river. The menu is huge. Due to the Yelp reviews we didn't order pizza. My daughter and I shared the buffalo chicken bites and loaded potato skins. The skins were crispy and LOADED!!! There were a ton of buffalo chicken bites and they were really darn good. My hubby and other daughter shared some surf and turf platter that had steak and a bunch of different seafood things. They thought it was great. The service was very good. I would go back. read more

Been here one time per year for the past four years on an annual trip to the area. Every year we have rude service and this year was the last straw. Asked the waitress if they had WiFi so I could quickly check the weather for tomorrow since we are on vacation and the waitress instead of just saying no she instead gave me a lecture about the restaurant preferring their customers to talk to each other instead of looking at the internet. Wtf was that?!? They then sent over another waitress for some reason and my mother in law honestly asked how fresh the seafood was and their response Was once again a lecture about how busy they are and none of their food is old. Wow. Won't ever go back. It's nice to be a big dog in a small town but if they were in a highly competitive area they wouldn't treat customers in a condescending way. You also cannot order an alcohol drink unless your sitting. Why bother with this and their bad attitudes when you can go elsewhere for comparable food and a staff who cares about the people who come in. read more

Pizza was not good, quite disappointing. Very bland, wayyyyy to much cheese on our cheese pizza and it wasn't spread out evenly so it was very thick in the middle with cheese but then our specialty pizza had like no cheese! I wasn't totally upset though because of the low cost, would have been way more pissed if it wasn't so cheap. 10in and 12in pizzas and buttered noodles came to around $30. read more

Best spaghetti and meatballs my husband and I have ever had!! Good service, friendly staff.

Let me start by saying that I'm from NJ so my pizza opinion is very biased. We called ahead and they made a pretty decent veggie sub for my wife and I. That was okay. My kids had pizza and the crust was pretty bad overall, the sauce had an off taste. Looking at the menu it appears that pies start with cheddar cheese. That's just a crime against humanity and pizza! I guess in a pinch you could stop here, but it's really nothing to write home about! read more

Better than I expected. The service was horrible (took 10 minutes to get our drinks so we could place our order and another 20+ minutes to get our food even though the place was (fairly) empty and there were a lot of waitstaff. We might have just gotten the bad one b/c the young guy helping the tables next to us came back every 3 minutes to check on his tables. By the time the food arrived my kids were off-the wall. The food was OK. Turkey Diner on Sunday special was actually MUCH better than I hoped, and their chicken tenders had read chicken. Good fries. read more
