Every time we're in NH we come to BD to get delicious and inexpensive NY strips. They're THICK cut, amazing. The air B&b we always stay in has a grill we like to use at least once a visit and we only drop Butcher's Daughter steaks, summer or winter--they're that good. The butcher used to work in NJ with a competitor of Pat La Frieda (love PLF) and the shop has anything else you'd like, sandwiches, pastries, local beers, and even a gift shop. It's very cozy and welcoming inside as well. The woman taking our order was super sweet, she was very attentive and when she saw we needed one more steak she hurried over and let the butcher know. We will be back again and again!!! read more

Locally owned and operated. Very nice food selection AB's if they done have it, they will get it in for you. Service - very local, very professionally and friendly. Very good meat, seafood and salad selection. Very layered back atmosphere and they sell delicious backed goods. One of our favorite places to go. Certainly worth a stop if you're in Gorham read more

Solid place for lunch! Sandwiches were delicious and huge, easily could share one! I also love that they don't skimp on the fillings/meats. Great selection of deli salads too! We got the potato salad and cucumber feta and both were delicious and complimented our sandwiches perfectly. There's no seating, so you'll have to take it to-go. read more

Great food, great service, interesting shop. While visiting family in the area, we stopped here to grab some sandwiches to take home. Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious - sandwiches, soups, and salads. Service was friendly and helpful. While waiting for for our food, we browsed the shop, which has food, antiques, handmades and an eclectic collection of other things, including an album of toad and frog sounds that we ended up taking home. The food is great roast beef sandwich is to die for . But it's like 15 bucks little pieces . The seafood very expensive anything you buy in there expensive. But it's fresh but we think he to high on his price on all things not right we go by there all the time don't see to many people there at times i think because he to expensive I can't afford it all the time. Although I planned to write this review this week, my husband insist I not forget because his sandwich wowed him so much earlier today. He is no easy judge but his turkey Rachel was the best he's ever had and my turkey pesto was so good I was sad to have to give my other half to our two year old who also could not get enough of it.
