Wonderful breakfast for a family of 4! Loved the bacon home fries and fresh made bread! But a loaf you won't be disappointed!

This place is the real deal...excellent slow cooked smoked BBQ!!!…read more I researched a ton of restaurants within 1.5 hours of Lincoln, NH (we are here for a week in May 2025) and this place made the list of "hopefully we can work in" and gladly we did!!! Jackson was a great and upbeat server, so good I would ask for him by name! The vibe of the joint is very comfortable and inviting... They had good music on and it's got an outside porch although we ate inside because it was on the warm side. I've had a lot of barbecue and I know it's good bye any standards... But for New England, it might be the very best I've had... The brisket, the pulled pork, and the ribs were all outstanding! I consider the Mac very good. The slaw was good, not exceptional like the other stuff, but that's probably a taste preference. And while I'm not gonna say that this place is cheap, but barbecue can be very very expensive in 2025, this seemed fairly priced. I never say that anymore. In my opinion, it is worthy of a multiple hour drive. We will be back!!!

The bar was pretty packed with patron. There was one server and one group of four just finishing up. We were the last for the night. I asked the server if we should just grab a seat and he put us at a table for two. The atmosphere is very charming as others have mentioned.... Beautiful place. Very clean and organized with a fantastic bar. However, the food was fair. Definitely the worst ribeye I've ever had at a "upscale" restaurant. I've had better at Texas roadhouse. My partner had the lamb. At the price point, you would have thought it would've been spectacular. The sides were room temperature at best when it came out. The potatoes seem to have sat on the grill for quite a while...very dried out.But it was not. Ended up not even finishing but did bring it home. The lamb was not flavorful at all. I'm not sure if I should count this to being there on a inclement day and on a slow Sunday. Definitely two strikes against me. Kind of think I would like to go back, but the price point is way too excessive for what you're going to receive. The server however, was on top of it. We were the only table, so what else could he do.

People running into their friends and catching up on life and family, just positive vibes through and through. The food was done very home style, and you can taste it. They serve breakfast and lunch from opening until closing and offer at least two breakfast specials every day. They were different each day we went and sounded so good and different that we ordered at least one each day we went. The first day was the meatloaf skillet with home fries, mushrooms, onions, cheese and gravy topped by eggs any style. Second day was cinnamon role French Toast with bananas, strawberries, cream cheese and whipped cream; and the Irish eggs Benedict skillet with corned beef, home fries and cheese, topped with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. Both skillets came with toast, English muffin, or biscuit. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and the chef came out to make sure we were pleased with our meals. I don't think you can go wrong here.

We had a reservation at 5:45 - they told us they couldn't seat us at 5:15 or 5:30 even though more than 1/2 of the dining room was empty when we got there. Sure sign that they are short on staff - but it must be in the kitchen because there were definitely enough waitstaff around. And although there were waitstaff around we barely saw our very friendly waitress. The owner was around and was very nice and accommodating with the kids and offered to make anything they wanted. I had the prime rib - which was cooked to a perfect medium rare and tender but it had no flavor at all. The sweet carrots were the star of the plate. My husband had the rib eye and said it was just OK but again no flavor. My daughter had the bacon burger but it was a hockey puck and all she ate was the mashed potato side. My son had grilled chicken and their "famous" fries (as the owner said) - the fries were the pre battered kind and nothing fancy and the chicken was just that a slab of grilled chicken breast. The fried green beans were good and the pretzels were perfect although the cheese sauce with them had no flavor. We took desserts to go and I am not sure why they called it bread pudding but it was just a hunk of hard bread. We like to support local but not sure we will make an effort to come back here.

Tonight, I was in the mood to try somewhere else and suggested we eat here. We are both so grateful we decided to drive to Lincoln. The drive across the Kancamagus makes it an enjoyable drive to get there and home.. Now onto dinner. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs, and even helped when we had questions, as they know their dishes well. My wife chose the Burrata Chicken dish , and was very happy with her choice. For me, I chose The Sweet Corn, Bacon Ravioli ..This meal was so flavorful and was beyond what I was expecting. As we took 1/2 our meals home and a load of their bread, this meal was one of the better meals we've had and yet, the price for this dinner was about the same as we'd spend most anywhere else.
