Great breakfast spot with lots of options on a Tuesday morning compared with the lack of options on a Monday night in town. We had breakfast sandwiches of different kinds and different drinks. All were good. There was some issues with the timing and orders being mixed up, but someone was being trained. Great staff overall. read more

4 of us went for lunch today for a birthday celebration we ordered cappuccinos, they served them in To go cups because they had no clean coffee mugs! then our food came out in a bag to go! the chef salad had the wrong dressing, nothing extra I ordered on it and paid for was in the salad! very disappointed the chef is very stand offish and seemed irritated with our order For a tourist town and foliage season I would of expected a bit more customer service read more

It's a pretty cafe but the wait time is so long. We got coffee which was good and ordered some omelettes, pastries and bagels. Omelet was good, croissants were bad, bagel was okay and also their cream bun. Wouldn't recommend waiting for more than an hour for this when you are there to go around the place. read more

This place has the funkiest hours but the staff, food, and coffee are all solid. The menu is extensive and the place is so cool when you go inside. Tables outside on the lawn, plenty of parking, and a million board games you're not cool enough to have heard of are available to read the rules and then give up on. They sell assorted local goods and the hot sauces are all very good and seem locally made. I loved this place. The staff was so attentive I ended up with multiple coffees one morning because everyone was so ready to help they couldn't figure out who was pouring my morning joe. Needless to say I could have ran back to the hotel after forty oz's of nitro. I didn't, but I totally could have OK? Great place to go for breakfast. A must-do. read more

I was in the cafe this morning. There was a girl at the register who was there pretty much the whole weekend. Another woman manning the food and a girl making coffee. This place is usually packed. I placed my order. YES, I asked for 2 iced lattes. The same way I asked for them Saturday and Sunday. Now, I would never expect an employee to remember my order. I state that to let you know that it's the only thing I order. I ordered food as well. My buzzer goes off and the girl making the food tries to hand me two dark drinks with ice. I kindly said, I didn't order those. She then proceeds to make a fist with both her hands in frustration, roll her eyes and say "can you please just take these ones instead?" I said "no, I didn't order that." Which, honestly if it were a drink close to mine, I would have taken it. The girl at the register goes, "YOU ORDERED TWO COLD BREWS, I heard you." No, I did not, I've never even tasted a cold brew let alone order them. Now, as I walk away, the girl who asked me to take the coffees I did not order, starts slamming things as she's preparing them. The girl on the register walks over to her and goes "I swear to F*cking G-d, she asked for F*cking cold brews"....I let that slide. So the girl slamming things around eventually prepares my drink and I then hear register girl say "I should make her pay for these".... Oh it was at the moment I LOST IT!!!!! The absolute audacity of some people. Sorry you had a bad morning, day, life, whatever it is...do not take it out on me...as I stated very loud in cafe lotti today as well, IM NOT THE ONE. What a wonderful spot for a meal! Unassuming and yet, the food is great and served with care from a young, thoughtful and talented staff. We had a major snafu at the Burke Mountain Resort and our wedding party didn't have a post wedding brunch available the morning after the wedding. We called ahead to Cafe Lotti to see if they were open early on a Sunday morning and Linda (the Owner) welcomed us all to come for breakfast. The Cafe was extremely busy with local customers but, they accommodated us and helped turn an unpleasant circumstance into a fun and restorative start to our day. Texas boy in Vermont....I love this coffee shop! Best place to go in East Burke. Johnny has a great personality and great singing voice, plus some of the best cold brew I've ever had. Best blueberry muffin this side of the Mississippi. Plus free wifi!! Wether you're heading to the Mt. Burke or biking through the area I highly recommend the Cafe Lotti. Painfully slow service (it took 15 minutes to get espresso drinks/coffees and 35 minutes to get food, with only 6-7 other people inside the place). My cheese omelette was literally made with a single egg (paper thin) with no toast or anything else and came completely cold, matching our coffees, which at that point had gotten equally as cold, while we were waiting for our food. Several items we ordered were forgotten and it then took forever to get those one by one. This place was a huge disappointment. read more

This was the first place I saw with nitro coffee on the way to Lake Willoughby, and man was it worth it. Delicious nitro coffee, BIG breakfast sandwich and breakfast wrap. I had egg and bacon on multigrain bread, and the peppered bacon and homemade thick-sliced bread was incredible. My girlfriend had a wrap with egg, bacon, pepper jack, and veggies on a jalapeno wrap. She loved it too! The atmosphere is wicked, plus dog friendly outside seating is always appreciated. Can't wait to come back when we are in VT in October. read more

Not much happening in town this time of year but walking into cafe Lotti warmed me up. They were efficient and so kind. It felt like I was a regular on my first time in. Definitely recommend the breakfast bowl, and they even happily remade my cappuccino to perfection when I made a mistake ordering. They didn't even think twice and assured me they were happy to do it, even though it was totally my fault. 10/10 experience. Definitely will be back tomorrow morning on my way out of town. read more

Stopped here on my way home to Boston from Canada. It was the only coffee shop in the area. It's about 5 miles off of 93. I got an iced mocha latte and a bagel with cream cheese- delicious! I wish we had some more time to hang out because it was adorable inside! A great place to meet a friend for a coffee or even get some work done! read more

Unfortunately we gave this place two tries and it only gets two stars based on both experiences. One for good customer service and one for a cool vibe in the place. Unfortunately the coffee is weak (too little grounds for the water) and the espresso was burned. Danish was ok, but wouldn't get again. It's unfortunate but the woman at the grill has a SERIOUS attitude problem. Everything was fine until the guy taking our order, star for him who was exceptionally polite and nice, said that they were out of home fries and could replace it with something else. We asked for toast and sausage and the woman at the grill gave us the look of death. Look, who isn't ready with home fries at breakfast? And that will take 25 min to make?! So she begrudgingly makes it but is so petty that while we are waiting she has the guy come tell us we parked our car wrong and need to move it. Then she finishes making the food and shorts us an egg. We ordered the mountain biker's breakfast plate which the guy said comes with 3 eggs, home fries, and meat, and bread. For a place that caters to a bunch of mountain bikers, the plate was pretty small considering its claims to be hearty which is why the one egg makes a difference. This wouldn't have been a huge deal except that the woman was super rude and petulant when we asked about it. She had zero amount of professionalism. I hope she was just having a bad day and isn't always so rude to customers. Embarrassing and certainly a turnoff for customers. She should definitely find a different job if she has such a bad attitude. read more
