The place is very small and because of that you have to check in at a small window before going inside. It can get very busy and always go mid week for that reason. What the Sunrise Shack lacks in size it more than makes up for with its personality and, of course, its yummy food. It's small yet cozy and homey. The staff is always welcoming and cheerful. And perhaps most importantly, the breakfast always hits the spot. During our most recent visit my boyfriend got blueberry pancakes and I got biscuits and gravy, which I had once before and had a hankering for it again. It was just as hearty and delicious as I remembered it from the last time. The blueberry pancakes were very yummy too. As a side note, if you ask for hot sauce with your meal they have a variety bucket for the table, which is a nice little bonus for hot sauce fiends such as myself.
