Two nights in a row and we had the same waitress at two different places... clearly there are only a few restaurants in this town and we found the good ones. I saw photos of the three meat pizza and all of a sudden had a craving for that doughy crust. It did not disappoint. We also ordered the orecchiette and bread and we fell in love with the pasta as well. After a long days hike, this was a great place to carb load.

New Hampshire Trip We are staying at the Omni resort and luckily we found Rosa Flamingos about 20 mins into town!! Started with the chicken wings in sweet chili, juicy wing in a sweet and savory sauce. We ended up ordering Three Meat Pizza with banana peppers and onions. The pizza was delicious, thick crust and covered in toppings! I ordered the orecchiette dish and man I gobbled up every piece! Highly recommend this place as service was great, food was finger licking good and had seating outside as well.

I wish I could give this restaurant more stars but a one hour wait for food is unacceptable. I came here on a Friday night with three others and sat in the bar area. It was not busy when we ordered so I did not expect to wait such a long time for our food to come out. The pizza I ordered was decent but not good enough to make up for the slow service. Other than that, I did enjoy the casual vibe and food selection on the menu.

Stopped in after a day of hiking. They have a bar area as well as tables inside and outside. Our waitress was great and was quick to help us. The pizza was perfect. The crust was delicious. I added onions and banana peppers to the three meat pizza. My girlfriend ordered the Orecchiette, which was very flavorful and filling. We will definitely be back when we are in the area!

We really enjoy Rosa Flamingo's, such a great place to enjoy a nice meal on the terrace with live music and good times. The blackened wings are always a favorite and the arugula salad is fresh and flavorful with a bright citrusy dressing and shaved fresh parmesan. Our pasta dishes were great and my husband enjoyed the beer selection. Sometimes it's also the "little things," like when I ask for sparkling water and lime hoping they might have something besides bar soda water, and they offer me a large bottle of Pellegrino. I can't forget to mention our waiter who was extremely friendly and attentive.

We were so hungry and found Rosa Flamingos. It was one of the best meals that my family has had in a long time. Our favorite was the garlic toast. We couldn't stop eating it. The pizza and eggplant parm were so yummy and delicious. The quantity was definitely equal to the price we paid for the food. Lastly the salmon was perfect. If we're ever back in NH this is definitely a spot we would visit again. Our waitress was amazing. She was so energetic and we felt so welcomed. They also kindly accommodated us.

Good times hanging downstairs in the bar area! Chicken wings were excellent! Look out for live music nights, it's usually a great time!

Cold Mountain Cafe is a perfect stop to turn a long drive into a nice date!…read more We definitely recommend this place, it's a solid 4 that comes off like a 5! We've passed through Bethlehem, NH a few of times as we've traveled between Maine and New Hampshire. A couple weeks ago I noticed a glowing little eatery as we hurried west on Route 2 en route to UMass Amherst. I didn't catch the name of the restaurant I'd noticed, but our return l timing worked to stop for dinner in Bethlehem, so as we headed back, Cary scoured Google and Yelp ...and based upon the menus and ambiance, we settled on Cold Mountain Cafe. Turns out this was the spot. Inside was just as welcoming as I'd anticipated. Nothing against small New England towns, ...but IMO you can't EXPECT a well-rounded professional restaurant package when you're in "two-hours-from-anywhere, New Hampshire". And IMHO, sometimes these fresh-movement country places are presented like funky hippy brightly lit hardscaped cafe's with busy chalkboard menus that look like 60's concert posters. Not Cold Mountain Cafe -the music, lighting and decor was perfectly contemporary ...relaxing ...inviting comfortable conversation. The menu and pricing were well thought out, offering an assortment of cultural fare with asian, french, American, East Indian entrees that ranged from smash-burger, pot pie comfort food, to bistro steak and seared scallops. Unexpected additions like bean cake and Indian lamb stew entrees offered a pleasant, funky twist. Entrees ranged from $19 to $38. The two drinks we tried were really great! I had the Brooklyn and Cary had the Espresso Lovers Martini. I think Cary put it perfectly when she said that the Brooklyn was like desert! The espresso martini was notable because it was made with rum, instead of vodka and it used fresh espresso, giving it a luscious Tia Maria feel. Both drinks had a wonderful silky smooth mouth feel. The waitstaff was not uniformed, but in semi-formal server attire with all black garments and waist aprons. The service was friendly, professional and attentive... our waitress brought us some warm crispy tender dinner rolls with garlicky seasoned oil dipping sauce, took our orders at our pace and checked in on us throughout the meal. The mushroom polenta app was great... smooth, creamy and fresh with balanced earthy woodsy and smoky notes. The pea soup was a bit brighter and fresher than I'm used to (growing up in Boston, my mom made the best pea soup ...a more hearty version with pork meat always made in the days following a smoked shoulder meal), but in the New England small town country, farm-fresh motif, we liked the bright, fresh pea flavors... Cary was concerned about what she would order because she was put off by the steak entree's smoked Gouda sauce. So she had the lamb stew, which was a compromise. Me? I'd spent the previous couple of days at a hotel hanging around UMass, which means a lot more carbs than I want... smash burgers, burritos, eggs Bennies... oof! So I definitely was feeling like something light... and decided to be crazy and try the bean cake. Cary's stew was nice. It didn't hit you over the head, but it had balanced signature Indian flavors, and was nicely presented. We're not volume-conscious but both thought it could have had a couple more pieces of lamb. I enjoyed my bean cake -although I don't really have anything to compare it to. The waitress said it was hearty, so I rolled the dice. I'd probably try it again... it flavorful and satisfying. The chèvre and ginger dressing supplied a good level of moisture and flavor notes to the breaded spiced bean and rice patty. I'd add that the plating on a bed of fresh spinach presented a little bit of a challenge as I had to pierce a few baby fresh spinach leafs at a time, then add the bean cake... but it was manageable... The menu changes seasonally, so we're looking forward to checking in on our next pan New England journey.

Seating is a little tight at these tables. There are booths and lower tables but you need to take what's available if you want to eat here. Believe me, you do want to eat here! We were served delicious Italian bread with delicious garlic, balsamic, cheese & rosemary dipping sauce. We were then served with salads with their own dressing. It was really good. We ordered toasted ravioli in a marinara sauce and two baseball sized meatballs. Both delicious. Then my honey got veal parmigiana, I got Chicken, Broccoli and Ziti in a white cheese sauce, and my sister got Chicken Marsala. We were very impressed with the portions and taste of all of these dishes. It was surprising to find such fine dining down a side street in North Conway near Zebs Country store. There is plenty of parking, a full bar, plenty of wines to choose from and handicap accessible. We rated this a 10 out of 10. We didn't have dessert as it was me and my twins Birthday. But, they sure looked delicious. Next time, and there will be a next time, I will try a dessert.

They have a parking lot which was helpful in the busy downtown area. We were fortunate enough to be able to get a table on their covered porch. I had the Greek salad which was good and an order of fried calamari. The calamari and accompanying red sauce were both lukewarm which was disappointing. I did ask if the sauce could be warmed up but the second round, while warmer than the first, still seemed cooler than it should have been although it was probably the calamari that should have been hotter. My husband ordered the pulled pork mac and cheese which looked really delicious and he said it was as good as it looked. I had requested a window table when booking and we got one! The restaurant seemed full, with mostly resort guests. Very lively bar area, great atmosphere and lighting. No children in sight while we were there. Our waitress was very polite and efficient as well. We had the Caesar salad and fried calamari as appetizers; that's what we had last year and we loved it - still great this year. Boyfriend *loved* the calamari, it did have a "kick" to it - watch out for those jalapeños! He gives me that big parmesan chip from his salad and I love it! He had the 14oz striploin steak as main dish and unfortunately, wasn't too impressed. He found it a bit overcooked (had asked for medium rare) and it was kind of bland (that's probably his fault though because he had asked them to remove the garlic aioli usually served with it). Also - this cut wasn't a bone-in so the steak was bigger than he expected, and he couldn't finish it. He loved the asparagus and other veggies however, which were prepared perfectly. I had the napoleatan Ragu which I thought (from seeing pictures on social media) would be a MUCH smaller portion than what was served. It was tasty but I couldn't finish half. If you are boxing up leftovers it would probably reheat really well the next day (we couldn't as we are on a road trip. I mean, maybe I could have anyway. But it's a bit late to think of that now, Amelie). Overall it was another great evening... ambiance is most important to me when eating out and this place has it right.
