Went in for a quick bite and left satisfied! The server was helpful and attentive. We only ordered two things, their potstickers and dumplings were so delicious! The filling inside was packed and flavorful! We got full with just these two so sadly we weren't able to try anything else but definitely bookmarked to come back!

Came here after we went to another neighborhood favorite was closed. Wasn't sure what to expect but thought we'd give it a try and we were pleasantly surprised. Started with some appetizers, potstickers and popcorn chicken and I thoroughly enjoyed each dish. Having eaten popcorn chicken at other dumpling restaurants, the pieces are sometimes pretty small and get lost in all the breading. These were good. Potstickers tasted good as well. For our entrees, we ordered the Seafood Dumpling Soup and Walnut Shrimp. The walnut shrimp had the right amount of sauce and tasted good. We also shared a Beef Roll, which was good. Shopping center can get pretty busy on the weekend with other restaurants, retail, and gym but the parking lot is big enough to be able to find a good space. Inside of restaurant is pretty sparse, but plenty of seating.

Enjoyed lunch here. The cucumber cold appetizer was perfectly seasoned with salt and garlic and crisp. Still thinking about the cucumber appetizer. Boiled dumplings and eggplant dish were good. XLB soup dumpling was just okay and they were stuck together. Beef chow fun noodles were flavorful. Service was good and friendly. He was covering the entire restaurant and did a good job at lunch. Lunch time was moderately busy inside. It was clean and decent sized.

The place is nice and comfy, great service from the staff there, but most importantly, the food. The orange soda was nice, yes, it's from a bottle, but it's a fairly unique flavor I haven't had elsewhere. The mapo tofu though. Absolutely the most flavorful mapo tofu I've had ANYWHERE. This stuff was like 2 steps below a climax, but in my mouth and tongue. I couldn't stop eating it. I took it home to eat later, but unfortunately warming it up in the microwave kills a bit of the flavor; it was still very good though. But fresh at restaurant itself? My god. I would drive 5 hours to eat this. I would be on the toilet for 10 hours to eat this. I don't care. It's THAT good.

We've been coming to this restaurant since it opened, and it is so good! Love the tofu and walnut shrimp. The shrimp has a nice citrus note to it. Also love the green beans. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu. The servers are so kind. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Joyee's Dumpling House is a relaxed spot that works great for a casual meal with friends/family. The menu is large, with something for everyone. I went straight for the dumplings, of course--and I'm happy to report they did not disappoint. The beef dumplings were flavorful and well-seasoned. My favorite by far, though, were the soup dumplings--bursting with rich broth and so hot and comforting. I'd come back just for those. We also tried the green beans with garlic, which were super good and came in a surprisingly generous portion. Everything felt fresh and satisfying. The service was friendly and low-key, which matched the atmosphere. It's not flashy or trendy, but it's delicious and done well!

This authentic Chinese restaurant is bright, spacious and clean. Their menu has a great variety of options from dumplings to soup and entree dishes. The popular options we tasted were orange chicken, beef chow mein, and shrimp fried rice. We loved their orange chicken with boneless chicken breast meat. It was juicy and flavorful. The noodles were also very good. The service was a little slow when crowded but they are friendly and accommodating. If you stick with the main popular dishes, you will like this place.

The food was good! The dumpling wrappers were slightly on the thicker side, but still enjoyable. Both the noodle soup and fried noodles were excellent. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and kid-friendly.

Very delicious and huge portion sizes! We ordered the vegetable tofu soup, fish dumplings, cold beef appetizer, mapo tofu, fried green beans, and zhajiang noodles. All the dishes were on point in terms of flavor (although the beef was a little too salty for me). Service was speedy too. We came here for on a weekday for dinner, so there was hardly anyone at all. Just us sitting in the corner, enjoying the air conditioning (very necessary for the spicy dishes).

We went on a Saturday for a late lunch. No wait and the place stayed about half occupied the whole time. We ordered the pan fried pork buns, green beans, and pickled veggie and fish. All three were good and decent portion. I'm glad neither of the dishes were too salty. The fish dish is meant to be spicy and good thing it was not too spicy. They did a good job with the fried buns in not burning it like some other places do. I was really pleased with that. Two people were staffing the dining area at the time and they were both responsive and nice. Also cool the music being played were top 40 songs from the 2000s.

The two ladies working when we were there were really nice and friendly. This place was busy with people coming in to order take out or dining in. It had a lot of good reviews but I thought the food was ok. I love Singapore noodles and theirs was too wet and a little on the plain side. We did like the onion pancake and the spicy wontons. Their hot'n'sour soup was good too. The xiao long bao was brought out in the steamer without a plate underneath. The dumplings were stuck to the paper or each other so when you lifted it out of the steamer, it ripped and leaked all the soup onto the table. What a disappointment. And the wrapping was too thick and doughy. I wouldn't recommend ordering those. The egg custard buns were not good either. We took a bite and it was gritty and powdery inside. It didn't have the consistency of a custard for the filling. We didn't finish it.

You can really tell the dumpling wrappers (for dumplings, xiao long bao, and wontons) are handmade. They're more springy and al dente and beautifully wrapped. We ordered a ton of food and everything was really tasty I didn't react fast enough with photos. Xiao long bao are a MUST - and you gotta enjoy it with the vinegar and ginger! The cucumber salad is WAY better than ding tai fung's in both taste, texture, and portion! Chili oil wontons were big and deliciously fragrant, not spicy. Pan fried pork buns were crispy on the bottom with a soft and pillowy bread and juicy meat filling. We also got the combination fried rice which was beautifully golden eggy and full of meat & shrimp. The green beans were flavorful and not overly oily. Fried chicken wings were one of my favorites! Last but not least we also ordered the chonqing spicy chicken - not too spicy, full of numbing peppercorn goodness, fried lightly and very criispy. The restaurant is well decorated and clean, very spacious and good for groups. There's a cute gazebo table right at the front too. Plenty of parking in the plaza lot. . We got pork chop suey, chicken and broccoli, a mushroom dish, and rice. I liked the variety of veggies that came with the dishes. A lot of them had mushroom in it. My toddler even enjoyed the mushrooms. One of the mushroom dishes came in a cute small cauldron pot with a handle. The bad: Because the food came out so fast, we didn't have time to sit and talk with our guests. I thought the spicy beef dish we got would be with the numbing peppers the way I Imaged most Szechwan dishes to be but it wasn't. The rice was a bit clumpy and didn't taste the freshest. The interesting: Heat levels are mild, medium and hot but a hot is more like a medium. We got hot for our beef dish and it wasn't too hot. This place has several other locations.

The orange chicken was the standout--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My search for the best orange chicken in San Diego might be over. The garlic shrimp with jalapeños had nice flavor, but the shrimp fell short. The light batter would've worked well for a salt-and-pepper dish, but with the sauce, it became pasty. If you want plain rice, it's an extra $2 per serving. Also fried rice for $14 with no meat? This is a very high profit margin. - the vegetables in our dishes were quite mushy like they were steamed and then sautéed again for the order. I prefer our vegetables to be fresh and crunchy. The meal total came out to $60 which in my opinion is high for some casual Chinese take out. Could have gone to a Chinese buffet and paid less...
