    Pork shrimp fries
    Shirley M.

If I could give this place 3.5 stars I would! I enjoyed the food more than the drinks - we got one of the specialty fries (pork with shrimp) to share, and the flavors were definitely there. A little sweet, salty, and crunchy all at once! The portions were pretty generous too, and we were able to enjoy it sitting comfortably in a booth during a not so busy hour. The menu selection is vast, with lots of appetizers and drinks to choose from (note that they've discontinued the split drink option due to customer complaints about long wait times). Prices range from about $11-12 an appetizer and $6 a drink. I didn't really enjoy the watermelon peach smoothie as much as the fries because it tasted more artificial than I would like, especially the peach. I'm not sure if it was the syrup they used or maybe the balance of fruits in it just wasn't there. Note that there's no dairy in any of the fruit smoothies. Service was fine - everything came out relatively quickly and we were able to get our questions answered. If I come back I'll have to try one of the milk teas and see if my rating doesn't increase, but so far their drinks haven't wowed me.

    popcorn chicken

Popcorn chicken was so over cooked, burnt from outside and inside raw meat still showing, so dry and hard crumbs. It's really bad.

They have a pretty good variety of foods for being a milk tea place. The popcorn chicken was nice and crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. It came with a dipping sauce. The kbbq chicken fries were pretty good. The portion size was better than I expected. The original pork Sisig wrap was good but I wish the Sisig flavor was a bit stronger. I'll have to try their drinks next time. Plenty of parking which is a bonus.

Came across this place after a long day at the bike park. I saw that they had food too, so it was a perfect stop for snacks and drinks. While looking at their menu, I got really excited for their unique drinks, but come to find out, they didn't have the drink I wanted (pumpkin spice). Of course it was off season, so I should've known. The cashier recommended another drink (English Earl milk tea), but it was not great. My husband ordered a fruit tea and son ordered an Oreo shake. All drinks were disappointing, unfortunately. Despite the drinks not being at par with what I prefer, their Aloha pork and shrimp fries were fire! The pork sisig had the right smokiness and the shrimps were plentiful. There was so much protein, which was surprising. The sauce was also delicious. It's probably not the healthiest, but weekends are made for indulging. I'd definitely go back for the fries and try a different drink next time.

Never did I see a menu so huge and filled with an array of drinks & snacks! From hot to cold, fruit teas to smoothies to milk teas. Also creative drinks too! Like cheesecake smoothies and Graham smoothies. Lots of snack choices from fries, to wraps to tacos. Whatever you're craving, Joy4tea will most likely have it! COVID UPDATES: -outdoor seating -masks mandate -clear screen in between register. There's also a mic to speak into so you can hear each other DRINKS: Most, if not all, are only one size. You can adjust the ice level, sweetness & strength of tea. Workers are friendly and can work with your drink concerns! SNACKS: Fries were a bit greasy and didn't sit well with my stomach. We ordered the Aloha Pork & shrimp fries and as much as it was yummy, my tummy didn't think so. The fries were more sweet & had a bits of pineapple on top! The chicken pesto wrap was DELICIOUS! The spinach made it a bit bitter, but an overall tasty wrap I would order again!

I was running a few errands today aka Boba Friday and so I was going to pick up some sandwiches at Cam Huong and decided to finally try out Joy4Tea since we last walked by there the last time we were here. In short, don't go if there's a line 1-2 people deep if you're in a rush. The drink was ok, the boba a little undercooked but sweet. I wouldn't rush back but it's ok. L O C A T I O N Joy4Tea is located in a large plaza that has a Fremont Bank, KFC, Drive thru Starbucks, Cam Huong, etc. There's a large private parking lot as well and not hard to find parking these days. C O V I D P R O T O C O L They have touchless payments, the employees are masked. The customers can be a little less...considerate. There are 2 purple marks on the floor for 6 ft distance. There's barely room to fit more than that and maybe 1-2 people waiting inside. There's two tables outside for folks to "dine." I was able to pay with Apple Pay which is always a plus. M E N U They have a variety of drinks from milk teas, fruit teas, and smoothies. I wish they had a standard black tea without toffee or any flair. All drinks come with 1 topping. I would say for your standard black or jasmine milk tea, this might be about $0.75 more than typical, but for the other drinks maybe $0.25-0.50 more. I got the J4T Milk Tea just to see their "black" tea which is an assam tea plus toffee and cocoa. It has an interesting taste, but like I said, wish it were just a black tea. You can't get 0% sweetness and can only get it as low as 50%. The boba itself has a nice sweetness but the middle was hard. Bummer. The one thing that wasn't great was the lid. I didn't have this drink right away and needed to drive it back home....well I transported two drinks and the cups do not fit well in the carrying holder and the lid has holes so it was spilling in my car. I had to hold both my drinks as I was driving with napkins just to make sure it didn't completely spill in the bag. I wish they just sealed the cups or at least had lids which don't have openings that could leak. S E R V I C E Poor girl working there. She had to take both orders and make drinks which caused a backlog and a long wait time. I would say from waiting in line to getting the drinks, I basically was there for almost 20+ minutes. There was 2 people in front of me waiting to order when I got there. But she was in the middle of making drinks. Basically she takes all the orders of people in line. Then when that's done, she makes all the drinks that were ordered and then the line backs up again until she finishes making a few drinks. O V E R A L L I think I just came by at a bad time and so service was awfully slow. The drinks themselves were ok and the boba could be better. It's not awful. It's passable. But I wouldn't be rushing back here for a drink unless it's just convenient. I'd definitely be back to try out their sisig fries. It looks amazing!

I decided to come back because we wanted to get their fries again. I really enjoyed the Korean beef kimchi fries but the popcorn chicken fries were underwhelming. I actually wanted to get just popcorn chicken, but I'm glad I didn't because the popcorn chicken here isn't that good. However, I did have a better experience with my drink this time. My boyfriend and I shared the guava lychee fruit tea with boba. The drink was nice and refreshing and the boba had a better texture this time. The boba had somewhat of a rubbery texture the last time I went, so I think the way they cook it is inconsistent. I actually would like to increase my rating of 3 stars to 3.5, but that's not possible so I kept the 3 star rating since I thought it better represented my experience here than 4 stars.

    Kimchi beef bulgogi fries
    Chyna C.

Came here because I was craving a tea and wanted to try something new. They have a pretty big drink selection and snack selection. I was really surprised. The staff are wearing masks, they provide hand sanitizer, and they are open for indoor dining. I ordered peach lychee tea and the Korean bulgogi kimchi fries. My total came out $18 and that included tip. I thought it was pretty pricey. I waited about 15 minutes for my food. Not a bad wait since there was around 5 other orders they were working on. The tea was a pretty good size and the beef bulgogi fries had some weight to them. By the time I got home my fries were soggy (they sat for some time so that's on me) but wow they were still pretty hot! The beef was a bit on the chewy side but it was still edible. Overall the flavor was pretty good! Had that signature sweetness that bulgogi beef is known for. They had added a lot of toppings, sauce, and beef. It was filling! I think this snack can be enough for 2 people to share. Honestly, not bad for a tea place. The tea was alright. Not the worst I've had but no the best. The peach flavor was non-existent until the end. It tasted like sweet tea water. The good thing about it was that it was not OVERLY sweet. Some places really go heavy with the sweet. I just wish that it had more of a brewed tea taste. I think that would've made it so much better. I can see myself returning to this place. Since the bulgogi fries were decent I would like to try their other snack items.

Beef Tapa rice bowl & Sisig fries

I was craving sisig fries sooo bad. I searched on Yelp and this place came up. As a boba shop, I was expecting the food to subpar. But to my surprise it was super flavorful and I really enjoyed it. The Beef Tapa was also super good, although the portions could have been a tiny bit more, I enjoyed my food overall and my partner and I really enjoyed our boba as well. I will be back!

Their drinks look really good. They have a good amount to choose from. Only issue is that they are not flexible when it comes to sweetness. My mom is diabetic and cannot have sugar. Lowest they are willing to go is 50 percent.

Top left is popcorn chicken, bottom left is KBBQ fries, too right is Hawaiian sisig fries
    Jennifer C.

No indoor dining but they do have out door dining. On the exterior windows and even in the interior they have big pictures of all their food and drinks they offer which I think is super helpful both of people who like to see pictures but also accessibility. They also have a mic so when you're waiting outside they can call your name and you can hear it while waiting outside. There are so much really appetizing food and drinks to choose from! It was very hard to even pick! I got the kbbq fries and my friend got the aloha sisig fries but I definitely think the aloha sisig fries stole the show. The sisig wasn't as finely chopped as I am normally used to and had a sweeter taste, I'm unsure if it is because it was because it was the aloha sisig fries or if the regular sisig fries also has a sweet taste too but I think that's what I enjoyed most about it. The fries were also a lot thinner than I am used to but I don't think it was a pro or con. I would come here again! The staff was very nice and overall great experience.

they have the best sisig fries!!! Hands down!!! we decided to visit this cute milk tea house and it didnt disappoint. The set up is cute and the ambiance is pleasant. The drink we ordered was just the right amount of sweet and definitely quench your thirst. This place is a must visit. Will surely come back to try more of their drinks and foo

When did the current management take over? So can we assume any reviews before this date can be attributed to the old management?

Have you ever asked the shop to separate the fries and chips from the order? I asked both cashier and the chef, they told me just can separate the sauce but not the fries or chips.

Yes, we can separate the sauces, chips, fries and meat from each other, just let the cashier know of this. Thank you, Joy4Tea

Can you order teas (jasmine, wintermelon) without the milk, or is it premixed?

All our drinks are built fresh, no pre-mixed. If you're lactose or don't want milk, just let the cashier know that you want your milk tea drinks non-dairy. Thanks
