    Cassava Cake

This was my first time ordering food from this restaurant for our party on Saturday, October 25, 2025. We ordered the following dishes: * Bihon - The flavor was acceptable, but it contained fewer chicken and vegetables than expected. * Lumpia Shanghai - The taste was bland, and it appeared to have been fried in used cooking oil. * Pork Sisig - This dish tasted great. * Chicken Adobo - The dish was too dry and lacked sufficient sauce. * Crispy Chicken - Some pieces were overcooked and slightly burned. * Chop Suey - The dish was too dry and bland, with not enough sauce. * Cassava Cake - Unfortunately, the cake was burned and too mushy, so it was not eaten. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience and do not plan to return. I have ordered from other Filipino restaurants and found their quality to be much higher.

Adobolicious serves classic filipino dishes and more in a casual setting with plenty of indoor seating. A good range of items on the menu, including soups, salads, pork/chicken bbq skewers, and adobo/sisig tacos and burritos. Though, beware they don't have all items in stock later during the day. Particularly, I wanted to try their sizzling pork sisig, but they were out of this on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered the longsilog rice plate, the longanisa sausages cooked with a nice char off the grill and just the right amount of sweetness. Also got the beef steak alacarte, and the meat was a little tough, but the seasoning was excellent, perfect balance of beef, sauce, and onions. It's also a generous portion size, enough to feed 2-3 hungry people (or leftovers for days!). Service was not immediate nor attentive, but fairly standard otherwise, it was fine. And they have a small parking lot out front as well. Unfortunately, with limited hours and days of operation, unavailable menu items, and no credits cards accepted (only cash, zelle, and venmo), the restaurant's inconveniences make it hard for me to want to return. But if you're in the area and in the mood for filipino cuisine, Adobolicious is a decent option.

First time here, been trying to come back after trying their food from work event once. They closed on Sunday and Monday, and only take cash and Venmo payment. Order lechon kawali to go, will have to wait for 15 mins. Next time will try to order ahead and pick up to avoid wait time.

I ordered through DoorDash, so I can't speak to the service or ambience just yet, but I'll probably stop by in person soon! Garlic Fried Rice - The portion size was exactly what I expect from a Filipino restaurant: huge! And that's the only correct answer when it comes to rice servings. It was delicious, too. Perfect! Pork Adobo - This was amazing! A little on the oily side for me, though, and I found myself wishing for some boiled egg or potatoes in there (maybe it's not everyone's thing, but it would be a great add-on option). Still, the flavor was fantastic. Daing na Bangus (fried milkfish) - First reaction: where on earth are they growing these giant bangus?? Seriously, this was the biggest one I've ever seen! The fish tasted amazing, but a little heads-up--the tomatoes and mangoes were packed on top, which made the bangus a bit moist, so it lost some crispiness. And maybe just a touch salty on the batter? Still, the fish itself was really flavorful and cooked well. Pork Sisig - Sadly, not my favorite. It wasn't bad, but something about it just didn't quite hit the spot for me. Can't put my finger on it, but not the best sisig in town. Overall, I'm happy to know there's a decent Filipino spot nearby. I'll definitely come back when I'm feeling homesick and need a comforting taste of home!

Got some take-out twice. Looks like they once probably had tables and possible table service, but probably after the pandemic stint, they just couldn't go back into that mode. Some of the dining area either looks closed or used for storage. For some reason this is a common phenomenon amongst mom/pop shops especially ethnic ones. Not sure why. But takeout orders are pretty easy over the phone, as long as you make their hours. They close early in the PM like 6ish or so, so not a late dinner option. They also don't take plastic, but they'll do Venmo or Zelle, which is a common middle finger to credit card processing charges. Lumpia Shanghai ($11/4.5*) They rock a super proper one. Great filling and fried nicely. I brought a couple of orders once to a potluck and it was a huge hit. I would solely comeback for orders of these. Bicol Express ($13/2.5*) Okay their sauce was great. I usually love this dish as it has the funk/punch of shrimp paste with the luxurious creaminess of coconut milk and the kick of spicy red chiles. And when fatty chunks of tender pork and nice veggies swim and bathe in this sauce, just makes for one of the most unique and tasty Filipino dishes there are IMO. But they messed my dish up by mixing probably an older batch with a newer one, so it was like playing yucky roulette with the chunks of pork belly. Some were fine if not perfect, like others were old/rancid tasting. Not a fun outing as I was eventually able to weed out the bad ones just by sight as I didn't want to waste my order/money. Calderetta ($13/3.5*) They use beef chunks here, more OG versions use goat meat, but I wasn't going to expect that from an American restaurant. Beef I guess tender enough. Sauce not bad but also not as rich as I'm used to but I'm also used to home versions, which is hard to knock. Real versions use a liver pate to enrich the tomato-y sauce, and I just did not really get that here. Serviceable Calderetta however, just not great. Beef Kare Kare ($20/2.5*) Looks wise, this looked the part. Sauce was a nice rich brown with proper thickish consistency. Nice chunks of beef that probably could have been a bit more tender but suffice. But this time my knock was with the flavor of the sauce. Like totally none if not very little peanut taste, and that is the hallmark of this dish. So to miss out on the main gist of this dish, I think is a big fail unfortunately. They are pretty nice here and I wouldn't mind trying some of their more standard dishes that are harder to mess up like Sinigang or Lechon Kawali. If they do I will update accordingly, and if good I'll move the stars the other direction. For now a generous 3*.

I had the pleasure of eating here while I was restaurant hopping around the area. I came across this restaurant while scrolling and zooming in on Google maps. The restaurant is located in a small plaza. There is plenty of parking in the plaza, more so than around it. I ordered the Sizzling Sisig and the Pancit Bihon. Both were very good! Both dishes wer very flavorful and exactly as expected. The portions were pretty big and the server/cashier was very kind. They are only doing take out at the moment but they made an exception for us to sit down and dine. Very cool spot! Worry checking out!

    Pancit was huuuuhe

Filipino certified awesome Filipino food. It's a little messy inside, the plaza has a smoke shop, who cares. The food is top notch, the servers are passionate about doing a good job and ensuring you have a good time. If you're looking for a TOP quality food at a cheap for Fremont price, this place is a killer deal for what you get.

It had been about a year since I last visited, and I was glad to see that prices hadn't changed at all. The highlight here for me has always been their lumpia--or at least, it used to be. It was once fried to golden perfection, with just the right amount of loose wrapper that gave extra-crispy edges (if you know, you know). Looking back at older photos, the lumpia had a noticeably deeper golden-brown hue compared to the lighter version I received this time, as well as seemed a bit longer in size. This made me sad; but it was still good, just no longer exceptional. In addition, the broasted chicken has always been just decent; the skin is great but the meat on the inside is always a bit dry and definitely requires some gravy or sauce to dip it in. Despite the lumpia switch-up, prices are still unbeatable for the bay, so I'd come back. I did notice that they seemed to have a new cook in the back, so here's to hoping that next time, the lumpia reverts back to the way it was!

This definitely used to be another restaurant, but then retrofitted to be a grill. Super large grill in the middle for everyone to communally cook at indoors. This is a good combination between the outdoors grill it yourself and the indoors seating of both the SoCal Dollar Hits, so I thought that was nice.
