Definitely worth going! I picked this place from the interior pics and menu. Service was excellent, food was excellent. You can tell this is a local favorite and not a tourist restaurant. We went on a Thursday night and it was busy. Made reservations and I recommend making them. We'll be back next time we're in Santa Fe. A quaint little restaurant that you need to visit. It was the perfect ending to our vacation.

The best lamb burger I've ever had.

They had me at the offer of a "purse hook". That's right, our server Jeff (top notch professional) approached our table and asked if my friend & I would like purse hooks. (Yes, please.) I've been hearing about Joseph's for some time, and on my most recent visit to Santa Fe finally visited for dinner. It was the meal of the trip. The restaurant itself has a charming neighborhoody feel with several rooms, wood beams, local art, and adequate spacing between tables (one of my pet peeves is the lack of privacy caused by tables too close together.) The food. Oh my. Food should not bring me this much pleasure... It's an award winner, so call ahead.

I love Joseph's! It's a lovely setting with excellent service that you don't get in many restaurants. Things like splitting the salad for you in the kitchen, and served on cool plates. Knowing when to clear and replacing silverware. Don't expect to get in and out quickly-this is a dining experience! This time we started with sharing the pear salad, which was beautiful if overdressed and not terribly flavorful. The lettuce pieces were too big to eat easily. Next the evil Duck Fat Fries! So good it's hard to stop eating them. I then had Chicken Green Chile Posole, which was one of the best I've had. So flavorful, with a kick, and lots of hominy, just the way i like it! Husband had Christmas Tenderloin Stew, which he loved. Again full of flavor and spice. We had to have the incredible butterscotch pudding, but had to take it to go because we had eaten too many fries!

This place checks all the box's. Great food, nice vibes and everything on the menu is local, tasty, and a nice presentation. Honestly I hope you all don't go so we can get reservations

Best meal in a foodie town with food motivated plans. I showed up and was pleasantly surprised by a robust gluten free menu. The tamale was sublime, lamb tartare rich like wine, and the duck dishes were unique. Great drink menu as well. Great food and high class without being pretentious.

Enjoyable meal in a cozy space, with good service. We sat at a high-top table near the bar which was initially a little loud, but calmed down once everyone had food. My dining companion also had the lamb burger, his with chips, which were also very good and came with two dipping sauces - one aioli and one tomato-based (not pictured).

I came here to say for a birthday dinner celebration. I made reservations through open table app, it was easy you just have to book reservations with a card to hold your reservation. Upon arrival I thought parking would be an issue but super easy the had a nice size parking lot, street parking is also available if it's full. The ambiance is incredible and the service was too notch. Our server was so nice so explained the special for that night and was really knowledgeable about food options and what we wanted. We started with the Duck Fat French Fries and that's a must. Everyone in the restaurant was ordering them for an appetizer and we also order Honey, Yellow Curry & Whole Grain Mustard Glazed Lamb Ribs which was incredible and finger licking good lol. Then we order the Duck Confit Pad Thai which was out of this world and must try which is their best dish. Doe dessert we order the cloud cake. Wine options are great and you will have someone coming around to explain the wine . Overall this place was incredible. And can't wait to return back. Excellent place for date night, family dinner or hanging out with friends.

if you like a good dish with a twist, i guarantee you can find something that fits your palate. there are so many innovated flavors. chicken pate is a must have, it's very unique to pair with the cherry, raw peas and apple. that I would never thought of to spread on the pate. the duck fat fries didnt stand out but the polenta fries are very unique with the sauce. on the special menu they had the lamb ribs as appetizer, but the portion is enough for main course. the sauce is a boom with honey, curry and balsamic. Main course duck breast is very juicy. one let down is the pad thai, i'm not sure that's pad thai no matter it's a twist or not, it's way too sweet. they have different types of Negroni on the menu, my favorite is the NM nigroni a bit bitter and not too sweet. the restaurant is nothing fancy, inside a traditional adobe house with expose wooden beams. service was great, our waiter is very attentive.

Watermelon gazpacho

Santa Fe is known for its great restaurant but this one has to be one o the best one!! Menu is very creative with outstanding dishes prepared with care : lamb tartar, duck fried Polenta, watermelon gazpacho, swordfish, duck Pad Thai & some delicious cocktails! Service is close to perfect with a very large very attentive brigade. Ambiance is nice if a tad too noisy.

Complimentary potato chips & olives

This place is a must try for foodies. While my server didn't provide the level of wam hospitality that I'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber, he was quite attentive through my meal. I would be remiss if I did not say that the busboy and busgirl bringing out my plates were superb and much friendlier than the server. Their famous duck fat fries were spot on loved my lamb lollipop, too. The rabbit bolognese lasagna, not so much: I guess I didn't care too much for the texture and taste of it. Negroni cocktail was spot on and Cloud Cake, their Italian meringue cake, has to rank as not only the best dessert I had in Santa Fe, but the best dessert of 2024 period.

Terrible disappointment. Hostess was rude and unhelpful. Dinged us for their own snobbery. Nevah again.

The great location is a trap--inside, it's a claustrophobic dive where personal space goes to die. Expect to get bumped on your barstool every two minutes without an apology. Want a drink? Good luck hunting down the MIA waitstaff, who will gladly charge you $12 for a flimsy plastic cup that's only half full (the menu said $10 - tip built in by bartender?!) The food menu is a hard pass unless you like living dangerously. To top it off, the comedians were just aggressively raunchy open-mic level acts practicing on a captive audience. Save your money; the positive hype is a mystery.

I was so glad I picked Sage Bakehouse because the chill, relaxing (but still really polite and cool staff) were super awesome! Having awesome freshly baked bakeries also topped my experiences there! I had an iced mocha, spinach and bluecheese quiche and a pear and custard tart and they were all so tasty! I would completely order them all again. But wait, since they all were so good..I will probably want to check out their other goodies just to compare which ones tasted best after all! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! We came in here on our last day visiting Santa Fe in the summer and I'm so glad we did, as it was on my list of things to try after perusing Yelp for notables. I had a scrumptious white bean-roasted red pepper-melted cheese tartine on delicious, fresh house-made bread topped with a balsamic glaze. I think it was one of the better dishes I had while in town. It was served with an array of olives on the plate. So good! They were out of the egg salad sandwich by the time we arrived, which was something a family member wanted to try, but they ordered an avocado toast instead. Also great and served with olives. The service was fast and thoughtful. Order at the counter and your food is brought to your table. We found a great shaded spot outside for the five of us with a view facing the bustling bakery inside. Many people brought their bikes or dogs (allowed outside only) and met up with friends to eat and chat. At one point a server brought out an order of bread that we did not order, but he left it with us anyway, free of charge. So glad we got to try Sage Bakehouse and I'd definitely visit several more times when in the area!
