Definitely worth going! I picked this place from the interior pics and menu. Service was excellent, food was excellent. You can tell this is a local favorite and not a tourist restaurant. We went on a Thursday night and it was busy. Made reservations and I recommend making them. We'll be back next time we're in Santa Fe. A quaint little restaurant that you need to visit. It was the perfect ending to our vacation.

The best lamb burger I've ever had.

They had me at the offer of a "purse hook". That's right, our server Jeff (top notch professional) approached our table and asked if my friend & I would like purse hooks. (Yes, please.) I've been hearing about Joseph's for some time, and on my most recent visit to Santa Fe finally visited for dinner. It was the meal of the trip. The restaurant itself has a charming neighborhoody feel with several rooms, wood beams, local art, and adequate spacing between tables (one of my pet peeves is the lack of privacy caused by tables too close together.) The food. Oh my. Food should not bring me this much pleasure... It's an award winner, so call ahead.

I love Joseph's! It's a lovely setting with excellent service that you don't get in many restaurants. Things like splitting the salad for you in the kitchen, and served on cool plates. Knowing when to clear and replacing silverware. Don't expect to get in and out quickly-this is a dining experience! This time we started with sharing the pear salad, which was beautiful if overdressed and not terribly flavorful. The lettuce pieces were too big to eat easily. Next the evil Duck Fat Fries! So good it's hard to stop eating them. I then had Chicken Green Chile Posole, which was one of the best I've had. So flavorful, with a kick, and lots of hominy, just the way i like it! Husband had Christmas Tenderloin Stew, which he loved. Again full of flavor and spice. We had to have the incredible butterscotch pudding, but had to take it to go because we had eaten too many fries!

This place checks all the box's. Great food, nice vibes and everything on the menu is local, tasty, and a nice presentation. Honestly I hope you all don't go so we can get reservations

Amazing place with a fantastic atmosphere for a romantic or special dinner. Service was good and the food was delicious and flavorful. We will be back again.

Best meal in a foodie town with food motivated plans. I showed up and was pleasantly surprised by a robust gluten free menu. The tamale was sublime, lamb tartare rich like wine, and the duck dishes were unique. Great drink menu as well. Great food and high class without being pretentious.

Enjoyable meal in a cozy space, with good service. We sat at a high-top table near the bar which was initially a little loud, but calmed down once everyone had food. My dining companion also had the lamb burger, his with chips, which were also very good and came with two dipping sauces - one aioli and one tomato-based (not pictured).

I came here to say for a birthday dinner celebration. I made reservations through open table app, it was easy you just have to book reservations with a card to hold your reservation. Upon arrival I thought parking would be an issue but super easy the had a nice size parking lot, street parking is also available if it's full. The ambiance is incredible and the service was too notch. Our server was so nice so explained the special for that night and was really knowledgeable about food options and what we wanted. We started with the Duck Fat French Fries and that's a must. Everyone in the restaurant was ordering them for an appetizer and we also order Honey, Yellow Curry & Whole Grain Mustard Glazed Lamb Ribs which was incredible and finger licking good lol. Then we order the Duck Confit Pad Thai which was out of this world and must try which is their best dish. Doe dessert we order the cloud cake. Wine options are great and you will have someone coming around to explain the wine . Overall this place was incredible. And can't wait to return back. Excellent place for date night, family dinner or hanging out with friends.

Duck breast

if you like a good dish with a twist, i guarantee you can find something that fits your palate. there are so many innovated flavors. chicken pate is a must have, it's very unique to pair with the cherry, raw peas and apple. that I would never thought of to spread on the pate. the duck fat fries didnt stand out but the polenta fries are very unique with the sauce. on the special menu they had the lamb ribs as appetizer, but the portion is enough for main course. the sauce is a boom with honey, curry and balsamic. Main course duck breast is very juicy. one let down is the pad thai, i'm not sure that's pad thai no matter it's a twist or not, it's way too sweet. they have different types of Negroni on the menu, my favorite is the NM nigroni a bit bitter and not too sweet. the restaurant is nothing fancy, inside a traditional adobe house with expose wooden beams. service was great, our waiter is very attentive.

Watermelon gazpacho

Santa Fe is known for its great restaurant but this one has to be one o the best one!! Menu is very creative with outstanding dishes prepared with care : lamb tartar, duck fried Polenta, watermelon gazpacho, swordfish, duck Pad Thai & some delicious cocktails! Service is close to perfect with a very large very attentive brigade. Ambiance is nice if a tad too noisy.

Complimentary potato chips & olives

I went on a random Tuesday in early afternoon thinking it wouldn't be busy but it still was! If you plan ahead, you can save yourself some money by buying less coveted time slots online. There is a big, free parking lot with a few cool instillations outside. Love that it's in an old bowling alley and they kept the carpet vibe in the lobby. They also have a cafe but I didn't partake. Since it's a self-guided experience, you can spend as little or as much time as you want exploring. I feel like I stopped to investigate things (e.g., opened cupboards, flipped through albums) and still got through all the rooms in a little over an hour. Meow Wolf was unlike anything I've seen before - when you think about how many artists came together to create all the details that amassed into such a monumental exhibit, it's really incredible. Definitely worth checking out!

The moment you walk in, the atmosphere pulls you in--an almost mystical aesthetic with curated decor (think mounted skulls, vintage accents, and cozy lounge seating). This makes it perfect for a date night or a unique night out. The space is intentionally designed to feel immersive, and it works. I ordered a gin cocktail with a tajín-style rim and fresh cucumber garnish, and it was incredible. Crisp, refreshing, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. Service matched the vibe--friendly and knowledgeable about what they're serving. It was easy to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. It's true there is limited parking, but good information, carpooling, and walk ability made it a non-issue for our guests. The venue has a magic you can't create other places and is more cost-controllable than a hotel! I truly appreciated how Pilar and Karen answered every question, asked some we hadn't thought about, and made all of our other wedding vendors' jobs easier! The venue can work indoors (with a smaller guest list) and outdoors. It naturally separates space for the service, the meal, and dancing. There is a designated bar area and protected place for the DJ equipment. Our party guests ranged from 18 to 80 and everyone found a comfortable place to enjoy the event. We didn't need exceptional or elaborate decoration to have a beautiful event. The venue and grounds are gorgeous with just enough space for an intimate event, and lots of nooks and crannies for great photos. We originally planned our reception at another location that fell through (blessing in disguise) and we booked with Pilar at Neptune, sight unseen as we're from out of state. Throughout the process Pilar was amazing and helped set our mind at ease as we worked to plan things out, even directly coordinating with our caterer to make sure everything was just right, opening up the day before so we could see it in person before the big day, and putting our last decorations in place while we got ready. Do yourself a favor and book your next event here, you'll be glad you did.
