I never had Filipino food except for pancit and lumpias but they were homemade by either friends or family; and by family I mean actual family even though I am full blooded Vietnamese. My Cousins are half Vietnamese and half Filipino. Anyway... Came here before 4pm on a hot ass Saturday after a long day setting up for my Daughter's pool party and was completely exhausted by the time we arrived for her friend's 8th birthday. For one- had no idea this is a Filipino joint For two- had no idea this is considered a fast food joint For three- had no idea Red Ribbon is part of Jollibee (Red Ribbon is a bakery) For four- had no idea this place is all of that and does private parties too This is where RSVP'ing is crucial because upon arriving the food was served; each person gets to pick one out of the two choices.. I forgot the first choice but I chose spaghetti and a fried chicken drumstick w/ gravy.. each person gets an order of fries, a mango-pineapple something (looks like the apple pies from McD's), and a drink.. The spaghetti was OK, the chicken was OK, the fries were very bland, I didn't try the pie thingy, and the drinks were refillable (soda fountain) so overall the experience was pretty good.. very decent. What I was impressed was the coordination and the agenda of the "party" because there was at least 30 people and the guy w/ the microphone made sure to engage all the guests w/ the games.. at the end Jollibee came out and asked me for a dance so that was fun, I'll admit, haha.. If you do a party here you cannot bring any outside cake, you must use Red Ribbon. I didn't try the cake because I'm on a strict nutrition plan at the moment but according to my Daughter it was good and vanilla flavor. The cleanup happened fast. before we left the mess was cleaned and I started seeing the place opened up for diners to eat.. instead of it being closed off for the party. KUDOS and not bad tasting food at all. read more

Jollibee - Not sure if this can be ordered in this combo but the party: spaghetti, fried chicken, and a burger. - Fast Food Near Me - Milpitas, California

Good comfort food, hits the spot. The pineapple quencher iced drink was a great summer treat. I appreciate the covid precautions they have implemented. Temperature checks to enter the building and more, it feels safe. Be prepared to have one person in your group complete your order. They are turning away pairs and groups trying to enter and order together. I say, good and thank you! Indignant Karen's can stay home if you can't help us stay safe during covid re-openings. read more

Food here is Great. Service is fast too. I just wish that they have a more stable supply of Spicy Chicken.

First time back to Great Mall location after a while. I think they were closed to remodeling, because when I came this weekend the place looked renovated and a lot nicer. I went through Yelp and ordered online. After placing the order it said it was going to take an hour for my order to get ready!?!?! I went over to the restaurant, told them I had a online order and sure enough my order was in line getting prepped, waited like 5 min, the lady there was super nice and got my order ready, and everything was there! Online ordering worked out great, didn't have to wait an hour like the app said. Definitely worth ordering online if you getting takeout because the line was crazy. In terms of food you have to get the fried chicken hands down and the adobo rice, my two favorites. read more

I finally got the chance to eat at Jollibees two months ago and I must say it was the best decision I ever made. Normally when I come here, I would pass it by due the high price but now I cannot leave it. It tastes better than KFC and you can get more portions than expected. Even in Singapore, I cannot let it go of Jollibee because once you eat here for the first time, you will get addicted. Service in these joints is so friendly and the employees won't be satisfied until you are. Although in both countries it costs me more than $5 it is still worth it. I tried the chicken joy with some mashed potatoes and adobo rice and must declare it wasn't so bad. There is less bone than KFC and it smells so much nicer. I really like the pineapple juice and now it seems that any trip to the Great Mall or Singapore is not complete unless I get a sip of it. The pineapple juice didn't taste sour nor was it too sweet. I probably believe it's fresh squeezed. At the Great Mall location I got to talk with the manager and he was really friendly and patient with me because I was a first time eater at Jollibees. I thought I was still going to be hungry after eating here but I was wrong. Everything was on point here. Note: due to the popularity of this place there can be a line if you come at the wrong time. read more

Ordered the 2 piece chicken with a side! The chicken tasted good, I got the original version. There is a spicy version, I wish I got that! I tasted a friends spicy version and there is a slight kick to it. I also got a side of adobo rice, it wasn't terrible. Rice was slightly dry, I'd prefer getting steamed rice. read more

From my researches, Jollibees is a franchise in the Philippines and became known for Fried chicken with a brown gravy dip. This is located in the Great Mall. By the Starbucks and Jollibees mall entrance (facing Home Depot) Heard much good and comforting things about a Filipino style breakfast. I heard it comes with garlic fried rice, a meat protein of choice and a fried egg w/ pickled veggies and a tomato slice. I've tried at other Asian/Filipino restaurants. But this place did not meet the mark. I was warned by those who prefer this meal not to expect much from Jollibees version, but I was determined to give it a good breakfast try (although I've been told since its carb rich with a protein), folks enjoy it for lunch or dinner. We ordered two types. One with a Filipino sausage (longonisa) and another with marinated sweet pork slices (tocino). Ok here's the run down, both meats were very dry. The 2 pc "sausages" (longonisa) had a texture more like a hot dog, but half the size, it did not have any fat grounds. The Filipino "bacon" (tocino) was sweet and reddish in color but it was jerky like. The garlic rice was plentiful and I did like. However the fried egg must have been a "small" fresh egg. It was one very small and made to "well done". I didn't see the pickled vegetables (daikon, carrot) or a fresh tomato slice. Does anybody know of any places in the Silicon Valley that serves a better (Filipino) breakfast, so I can give it another try. read more

This is a great restaurant! I really like the fact that to enter you have to go through the outside & line up. I like the fact they have the red signs on the floor about social distancing & they enforce it. Also they only let a certain number of people in at a time. They also temperature check each and every individual going into the restaurant. Everyone is super clean inside and they plenty of hand sanitizer and everyone is wearing gloves. The store is kept very clean & the employees are so nice! They even open the doors for you. I really enjoy their halo halo & their yum yum burger. This Jollibee is awesome. Keep up the great work! read more

Still no halo halo dessert! Dirty work station. Manager for the day doesn't really care. There's crumbs and rice everywhere! Always busy. Food are good, slightly salty. A guy came in with a container full of fruits and veggies from a kiosk outside, which looks so good to eat with these salty food here. Oh and no mango peach pies. They ran out, so subbed with banana-jackfruit empanada instead. read more

If anyone ever says they watched a video on YouTube about Jollibee, then that means they've watch 20. Seriously, if you watch one, the next one will be a Jollibee video. Even if you don't watch the next one, when you come back to YouTube later, they recommend another one. It's non-stop! Hell, even their commercials are like movies! But, Mukbangs aside, the food here is pretty good! No, it's not going to win any awards or anything. But, it's great if you want fast food, but maybe with a little twist. Let me explain. Yes, they have burgers. And if you put the regular burger against a competition with In N Out or Shake Shack, Jollibee will lose 100% of the time. But, they also carry an Aloha Burger which has pineapple, bacon, and a sauce that pairs perfectly with both. Also, yes, they have fried chicken. But it's lighter than say a KFC. Also, it's normally eaten with the magical gravy. I'd probably dip my sunglasses in it and eat it! They also have a spicy variant that will surprise you at first, but you get used to it pretty fast. Now, they also have spaghetti here. But, before you ask for Caesar salad and breadsticks, be wary that this spaghetti is a little sweeter than normal. It also comes with cheddar cheese, ham, and my favorite part, hot dogs. Yes, it's different. And to be honest, not my favorite. But everybody not named Jamie in my house, seems to love it. Me personally? I'd rather have the fiesta noodles, which are basically rice noodles topped with a garlic sauce and topped with pork cracklings and shrimp. If you eat this one, make sure to squeeze a little lemon on it. A meal with me wouldn't be complete without dessert. The most popular is the Peach/Mango pie. This is a FRIED pie with peach and mango filling. If anybody is old enough to remember, McDonalds used to fry their apple pies. It is similar to that (side note: McDonalds in the Philippines still serve the fried apple pies). If you want something a little more unique, try their Halo Halo. It's basically an ice dessert like many Asian countries have. It's topped with many "interesting" things. I"ll leave it at that. If you're not as adventurous, you can also try the pearl coolers with either Ube or Buko Pandan. They have a few other things on the menu and they always have seasonal/limited editions items (sotanghon, spam or corned beef sandwiches, tuna pie, etc.). They also have a pineapple juice that everybody raves about. I have tried it and it is pretty good, but I normally just stick to water as my beverage choice. Last note, this location and many other locations are right next to, and even sometimes connected, to Red Ribbon. Red Ribbon is a bakery that serves many different types of bread and pastries. If you have a chance, try the Choco Mocha Crunch cake. Get a whole one for a party and you'll be loved by all! read more

The breakfast is a good deal for a fast food place. You get a generous portion of their garlic fried rice, which I would call mildly garlicky---savory but not going to put off someone who doesn't like a lot of spice. There is a fried egg on top of the rice. With these there is a choice of beef, corned beef, chickenjoy and some other choices.I got the chickenjoy. The skin is crispy and savory but not greasy. It is a well-balanced flavor. The coffee is good too.it's not too busy if you come at the right time.I aslo had the small sundae which melted very quickly and got watery. The taste was fine. read more

Fried chicken is fairly common these days among fast food type restaurants, but where others show inconsistency with quality and availability, Jollibee never lets me down. They may not have the greatest seasoning blend in the game, but the quality is always top notch and fresh to the taste. Prices are fair and one of the greatest things about this spot is their unique menu items and side options. Most people wouldn't think that Spaghetti would pair well with fried chicken, but they have truly figured out something worth trying; at least once in your life. read more

I used to love Jollibee but now not really, my mom and I went here few days ago. I ordered Beef Steak, why is it getting expensive and smaller?? The meat is very dry, taste was okay. And the yum burger is dry too, $2 more with cheese.. lol and my mom ordered Palabok with chicken, the chicken still have blood inside and her palabok has little sauce. Plus it was packed and one register is not open, employees are just standing around and talking. I don't know if I'll ever go back. read more

Service was quick at this essentially fast food joint. It's probably one of the limited number of "Filipino" food in the area. Would love recommendations of other legit Filipino foods. We ordered the C2 combo which is basically two pieces of chicken, a side, and a drink. I opted out of the drink because they offer free water already. We also doggy-bagged it. Just because there was limited seating. What's nice about this fast food joint is that it's conveniently located in the Great Mall. read more

First time trying Jollibee was not bad. I had the chicken sandwich, the pineapple pie was the best, very crispy!

I've never had a chance to try Jollibee but I've definitely heard great things about it. We were shopping here at the Great Mall and decided to grab some food. The place was pretty busy - mostly with Filipinos and Asians. But it was also peak lunch time. We got in line and they had like 4-5 cashiers so it moved very quickly. Since it was my first time, I got the classic chicken and spaghetti combo. My bf got the 2 piece chicken and 2 sides combo. They give you your cups for the soda, which is self-serve and a little pager/buzzer to come pick up your food when it's ready. We only waited 5 minutes. I was starving so it tasted great. The chicken was crispy and I liked that it was served with extra gravy. My bf wasn't a huge fan of the chicken though as it could've been more flavorful. He liked his two sides though - mashed potatoes and corn (just the kernels, not on the cob). I liked the spaghetti a lot. The sauce is slightly different than normal marinara sauce - it's sweeter. And it's served with shredded cheese, hot dogs and ham. The meal was fast and cheap too - both combos (that come with sodas) were $8 each. I was satisfied but I think the bf could've eaten more. I would want to try the palobok noodles next time - that looks really good too. read more

Love Jollibee. This jollibee gets really full and it is probably because it is in a mall. I had a serious fried chicken craving so I walked into Jollibee. The chicken was good but the sides were meh; I also had a few issues with service. I ordered a two-piece chicken combo with a side of french fries and a drink. The cashier gave me a buzzer and I proceeded to wait. First of all, the cashier didn't give me my cup until I ask him for it later. The place wasn't too busy, but there was a good amount of people eating there. There wasn't much of a line so I expected the food to be out quickly. I waited for about 15 minutes before giving into my hunger and looked for my order. When I got to the front, my order was already ready to go but they didn't notify me with my buzzer. What's the point of giving that device to me if they won't use it? The chicken tasted good but the french fries were pretty pathetic since they were sitting inside a cardboard box for some time. Overall, I'd come by again just for the chicken but would reconsider eating there. read more

I love jollibee! Best chicken & gravy around! Seriously thing they have one of the best fried chicken because it's the skin is crispy & the meat is so juicy, never dry! Also helps with the nostalgia because they have good side options such as palabok or adobo fried rice (definitely not as good as grandmas but satisfies the temporary fix) another side that you can't go wrong with is the mash potatoes & kids always love French fries! I never get soda but since it comes with a drink I always end up getting The Tropicana fruit punch on the soda machine. I've actually never seen this flav on a soda machine ever & ive been getting it for years. Loved this location since it opened because it's so close to my house aha. Bit & spacious as well! This rating is solely on their food since I ordered to go and did not eat there. I got really excited to see Jollibee here. Coming from NY, we only had 1 in Queens. I've it eaten there once. I ordered a family meal, set B. It came with 6 pieces of fried chicken, 3 peach mango pies, and a big dish of spaghetti, a pretty big side of gravy. The fried chicken was so juicy and tender. They gave me 4 thighs, 2 legs. It was KFC comparable. Crispy on the outside, hot and juicy on the inside. Great fried chicken. The spaghetti I thought was okay, only because it was too sweet for me. It had some sausages and meat in it. The mango peach pie were so good! It was crispy outside and very tasty and juicy on the inside with real mango pieces. It was also awesome they gave gravy for the chicken. The gravy with chicken was bombs...delish. also ordered a halo halo and of course, it was pretty good :) read more

Seating problem still persists (after 3 years had passed since my first review). Management still turns a blind cheek and ignores the needs of folks seating dilemma. Not everyone comes here to buy food to go. In our case, we didn't shop first then ate later, we came here to eat first then shop last. Either way, the seating issues here are attrocious. However, the people are friendly and the food is always consistant. I just need a place to sit down on my ass and not having to ask people if they were leaving soon and asking them for their tables. I already did that trying to find a place to park outside. Why do I have to ask the same question again just so that I can sit down and eat? read more

We ordered around 12pm and waiting for a long time even though it wasn't as busy even before we got our turn to order. One of the supervisor with glasses said that they're just waiting for the 4 cheeseburgers. At first I thought the spicy chicken and now they're saying cheeseburger? Hmm. Anyway, so we waited... and my mistake is we didn't check if we got everything, & turned out they didn't give one of the meal's side. The other female employee read the receipt to us but she didn't check if everything was there. ok here's my story. ever since i discovered their spicy chicken joy. i ordered them pretty often s. it has a nice kick. the chicken was juice and i loved dipping it into the gravy that they give. but!!! the last few times i have gone there. i felt some disappointment. first they changed the recipe of the spicy chicken joy. i felt it wasn't any spicy at all. i didn't taste that wow spicy chicken joy that i long for. yesterday i went back again to give them another chance. i personally ask if they have spicy chicken to the lady at the door. she said yes. then when i got to the register. i told i wanted spicy chicken. the cashier did not tell me that they no longer serve spicy chicken. i even made sure she heard me . then when i got my order. i verified that i got spicy chicken bc thats what i came there for. the man behind the counter told me that they haven't had spicy chicken for over a month. if i knew that i wouldn't have ordered it bc the original isn't the same. i felt that they were not being truthful to me bc they wanted my sale. i felt betrayed!! i ended up leaving tge place in anger bc i left without my spicy chicken joy and i was lied to. please bring back the original spicy chicken joy. it was a hit. why mess with the recipe when people loved it. i won't go back until it returns. sorry but not sorry. that's my sad, mad and disappointment story. very unhappy customer, ms. meme read more
