Went and got a manicure here with a girlfriend when I was home visiting, and I was impressed. Haven't had my nails done in years and they turned out beautifully. Have been looking for a place to get my nails +bridal parties nails done for my wedding and they are now on the list as a contender. Color was beautiful, and shellac lasted a week and a half before it started peeling. My only complaint is I walked out with 3 of my cuticles bleeding. Rating based on basic mani/pedi. Their door says open til 6PM Saturday, I was that person who walked in at 5:50 and they were able to get me in for a mani/pedi. Opted out of deluxe Pedicure, only difference is no leg scrub/massage, it was only an extra $5 but I was in a rush. I've been coming to Jolie nails for about 4-5 years and I love it. Very friendly staff, clean environment and great nail technicians. Prices are reasonable too. I've been doing the shellac manicures now for about a year and they do a great job on those. Ben is the best - but they're all very detail-oriented and good at what they do. Thought I found a good place to get my nails done. Walked in today at 1:00 p.m. after being dropped off. There was one person getting their nails done and no other clients in the salon. First I would like to start off on a positive note, the place was clean and my mom and I got sat right away (only because it was empty) My mother and I got a deluxe pedicure only after asking if the massage would be longer, Lee told us that it would be a "long time." We were not pleased with the experience at all, it seemed as if they were racing and they were talking as loud as possible ( not relaxing at all ) the "long time" massage was under five minuets and felt fast paced as if she was massaging something other than a foot.... They took longer with painting our toenails than they did with all of the extra stuff we paid $10 more for. At the end they made us wait "so that our toes could dry" ... Took at least 15 minuets for them to give us our check. Lee repeatedly asked for us to tip her when we were waiting the EXTRA time for our toes to dry. Was not pleased at all, a complete disappointment I would not recommend. I also feel as if some of these reviews are fake, because this was literally the worst place I have gotten a pedicure at and I get pedicures in different places all the time. I'm not sure about any of you.... but its a treat when I am able to get a mani-pedi. I usually go just before a trip or to treat myself for my birthday. I went to Joile for the first time in March and asked for a shellac Mani and pedi which cost $72. I though this was a bit high but I didn't have the time to search around for another place as I was leaving for the DR the next day. I explained to the tech that I have small nails beds and to try to avoiding getting the shellac on my skin, because the second i wash my hands, the water gets under the polish and it starts to lift, she said OK. The tech started on my feet first and at that point I felt she was doing a good job but once she started on my hands, that was a whole other ball game. She clipped my skin (in more than one location) and made it bleed. she was being very hard as well. then added nail polish remover on the areas that were already bleeding, which stung like crazy. She tried to act like nothing happened. I didn't complain because I felt bad she was being so nice. After she finished the shellac, i could tell that the shellac clear coat was on my skin but I just wanted to leave and I had already been there of r over and hour and a half. The next day I called and explained my situation to the owner and he asked me to come back in so he could see it. he agreed and personally fixed my nails. after he showed the whole staff how they should be doing shellac. I left for vacation "loving" my nails!! they lasted almost 4 weeks. i was so happy so I went back again in July to get another shellac Mani-pedi and the same thing happened again with a different nail tech. I didn't complain to the owner this time, i just decided to write a review and buy my own shellac kit to do it myself. For the cost of one mani-pedi, i was able to buy all my own supplies and do it my self. i do not recommend this place for shellac. its too expensive and no one knows how to do it!! read more

The first time I went I got here I just had a manicure. It was definitely no-frills quick manicure, but it was ok. Not the best manicure I'd had, but not the worst. There were weird things on the first visit: like they forgot to ask me which nail color I wanted, and they didn't ask me if I wanted my nails filed round or square- they just did them as they wanted. This didn't bother me too much though because the nails ended up looking fine and lasted for a few days. The prices were average for the area. My second trip- not so great. I got a mani-pedi. The pedicure was fine and it was nice that they included the sugar scrub and hot stone massage at no extra cost. What bothered me was that the manager was really attentive to the two ladies next to me like telling them all about their services, telling them about the punch card, and giving them a bonus punch (that was 3 punches 1 for mani, 1 for pedi, and 1 bonus) for whatever reason. But, I didn't get any of this info AND they gave me 1 punch for both the mani-pedi. When I asked about this, he said usually they give 2 punches only if you get the deluxe pedi, but he got special permission from the manager and I got 2 punches. But for some reason the other 2 girls got 3 punches for the same service? Whatever. That probably wouldn't have bothered me so much if it was just that. However, the manicure was not great. The technician had a regular come in right at the start of my manicure (she knew him by name). So it felt like he rushed through my manicure. He put on really thick layers, which made it look clumpy and also made it difficult to dry. Additionally, he didn't bother with any clean up whatsoever, so my cuticles looked messy and I had polish on my skin! He left me at the drying station and that was it. When I walked out no one said good bye or anything. Everyone was busy with their other customers. Since the nail polish was put on extra thick, it took forever drying- one nail did get smudged. I had to be somewhere so I couldn't go back. I tried to salvage it with some topcoat, but it still looked like crap. Definitely will try someplace else next time. read more

Le does my nails and she is very talented and gentle. She gives me a big hug when I walk in. Simple, no nonsense mani pedis. You are not going to get a plush robe and a glass of champagne here, but a cold bottle of water, a friendly technicial and a good polish job. Pedis are great, pay the extra few bucks for the delux - worth it! I like the shellac manicures. Polish never stays on my nails and they are weak and brittle but the shellac holds up and I actually have nails (MY NAILS) for the first time in my life! I just paid 40 USD for the worst nail extension service ever. My nails look crap. The nail station was REALLY dirty. The unprofessional lady, took the nail clip and scissors from a drawer which was full or trash, papers, etc.I did not see anything disinfected. When she started to remove my previous nails, I almost cried. It was really painfull and she did not care at all. Then she put the new nails on and shaped them, and what a surprise, any of them where similiar to each other. One of them had a round shape, another a square shape, etc. When I told her that I wanted all nails to be with the same shape, she put me a bad face. She was a mess polishing my nails too. She spent 20 min redoing them again and again. The nail lacquer had a lot of fluff even tho it was "OPI" but the ladie did not maintain it very week. Her conversation was not acceptable. I'm not terribly picky about nail salons, but I would definitely recommend you go somewhere other than Jolie Nails. The salon didn't seem terribly clean, and I didn't see my manicurist clean the tools before using them. I got a gel manicure, which lasted 8 days before two of the gels fell off my nails (I have never had a gel manicure fall off, and I have always been able to keep them on for 2 weeks). My manicurist didn't take any care in shaping my nails, and I had to ask her to shape them evenly after she had "finished" them - some were round, some were square, and she left rough edges on all of them. She also did not let me keep my nails in the UV light for the full cycle, rushing me along. She didn't take any care in carefully putting on the gel, either. Not a pleasant experience, I felt very rushed, despite having made an appt. I would not recommend going here. read more

I have been going to Jolie Nails for many years. I've tried other places but have always gone back to Jolie Nails because there is no one better!! I would definitely recommend them as a great salon in the area!! They have a fantastic deluxe pedicure with a sugar scrub, wonderful massage with hot stones included all while relaxing in a massaging pedicure chair! My toes always look fantastic and they take special care to make sure you are happy! Enjell does THE BEST job!! It's so incredibly relaxing. I have read some other reviews that people thought the sugar scrub was too intense but if it's too much for you just ask them to lighten up and they will do that. I have never had a problem there -obviously the person doing your pedicure does not feel what you feel- but I do know that they all try to make sure you have a good experience! Enjell does give THE BEST massages but I also recommend Ben and Mee for pedicures as well! Ben has done my nails for years when I had acrylics and then gels and he is certainly the best in my opinion! He has great technique and a very steady hand. He is the owner of the salon for the last several years and I think he has done a good job there. They have refreshments there in a little fridge you can have for free if you are thirsty and the atmosphere is very relaxing with soothing music playing or sometimes the flat screen TV is on. And if you aren't interested in looking at that, the pictures on the walls are beautifully stunning and are perfect for the salon! Ben and Mee also do the very best manicures and their selection of shellac nail polish for shellac manicures is the best in town! I had to take my gel nails off for my job as they were no longer allowed. Of course not having my nails was very traumatic for me!!! I didn't' know what I was going to do!!! But Ben convinced me to do the shellac and I have been doing it now for a couple months and I have to say after being a skeptic, I LOVE IT!! My nails look so healthy and fresh and natural and the shellac even comes in a french manicure!! The colors of the shellac are gorgeous and the manicure is very well done with a very relaxing and soothing hand massage included. I've been here a few times, and I'm not a huge complainer, but my experience last night was kind of awful. The first time I came here, I got a great eyebrow wax and was very pleased. The second time I came for an eyebrow wax, they came out so thin and un-even that I immediately went to Ulta to have them fixed by one of the girls at the Benefit bar (had to fill them in for like 6 weeks!). Last night, I went to Jolie Nails for a mani/pedi, no waxing this time :) The place was bitter cold and I was freezing the whole time, since the pedi chairs are right up against the window. Super uncomfortable. I made sure to come in at about 6:30 since I know they close at 8, and since I was the only one in the salon, they really rushed on my hands and hurried me to leave before my nails were even dry. They all had their coats on, waiting and staring at me while I was sitting under the UV table for a whole 2 minutes. Just getting into my car, I messed up every nail on my right hand.
