Went and got a manicure here with a girlfriend when I was home visiting, and I was impressed. Haven't had my nails done in years and they turned out beautifully. Have been looking for a place to get my nails +bridal parties nails done for my wedding and they are now on the list as a contender. Color was beautiful, and shellac lasted a week and a half before it started peeling. My only complaint is I walked out with 3 of my cuticles bleeding. Next time, I hope that can be avoided. read more

Less than a week later my pedicure is chipped, I don't know about everyone else but when I get a pedicure mine usually last 3+ weeks without significant chips. I had to take off all the polish and redo them last night. Not worth your money read more

I've been coming to Jolie nails for about 4-5 years and I love it. Very friendly staff, clean environment and great nail technicians. Prices are reasonable too. I've been doing the shellac manicures now for about a year and they do a great job on those. Ben is the best - but they're all very detail-oriented and good at what they do. Typical walk-in nail salon (not a spa); appointments are encouraged but not required. Hours accommodate busy work schedules as well, which is nice. Stop in and give 'em a try! :) read more

Rating based on basic mani/pedi. Their door says open til 6PM Saturday, I was that person who walked in at 5:50 and they were able to get me in for a mani/pedi. Opted out of deluxe Pedicure, only difference is no leg scrub/massage, it was only an extra $5 but I was in a rush. I have damaged looking finger nails from acrylics and they made sure my mani looked great. $35 for the mani/pedi. In an out in an hour. Thanks Katrin Also they have a punchcard program, 7 visits and the next is $10 off. read more

Jolie Nails was recommended to me by a friend. I walked in on a Sunday and they had room to see me right away. After I arrived, they got busy. I had Angjell, the owner. What an amazing guy! I requested the mani/pedi deluxe ($41). Tips are cash only. I have had issues in the past with ingrown toenails and Angjell did a fantastic job! It was one of the best mani/pedi's I have had. I would recommend scheduling an appointment, but if you walk in, don't be surprised if they tell you you need to come back later! I will definitely be back!!! read more

I'm new to the area and came in for an acrylic nail fill-in. Ben did a fantastic job! He was so friendly and made me feel welcome to the neighborhood. I also noticed he seemed to know all of his customers by name, which I thought was a great sign. His craftsmanship is stellar! Plus, the price was much better than I am used to in DC. I'd so glad I stopped and and will be back again soon! read more

Jolie Nails - Acrylics with shellac (gel polish) - Nail Salons Near Me - Clawson, Michigan

I have gone many times to get a pedicure (deluxe is so worth it) with Micki and she is truly amazing. I have never had this kind of pedi anywhere at any price!!! Love the salon (very friendly). Very relaxing read more

My favorite place in town. Lida is my preferred nail tech... always leaving me with the most perfect mani and pedi!!!! But all the techs here are so amazing, I have never had a bad experience with any of them. Affordable and I always walk out pleased... I can't wait to go back in 2 weeks!! read more

Come to Katherine she's the best. I had shellac done and it looks amazing . Had a good experience for the first time and the owner and the staff were nice and polite. I would come back here. read more

Thought I found a good place to get my nails done. Walked in today at 1:00 p.m. after being dropped off. There was one person getting their nails done and no other clients in the salon. I was asked to come back in 30 minutes. I advised I had been dropped off and would have to wait. There were 2 other employees doing nothing but either reading or looking at their phones. I finally got tired of waiting I decided to call for a ride so I could leave. When I said that I had to leave all they could say was sorry. Well they should be sorry because they just lost a custome read more

First I would like to start off on a positive note, the place was clean and my mom and I got sat right away (only because it was empty) My mother and I got a deluxe pedicure only after asking if the massage would be longer, Lee told us that it would be a "long time." We were not pleased with the experience at all, it seemed as if they were racing and they were talking as loud as possible ( not relaxing at all ) the "long time" massage was under five minuets and felt fast paced as if she was massaging something other than a foot.... They took longer with painting our toenails than they did with all of the extra stuff we paid $10 more for. At the end they made us wait "so that our toes could dry" ... Took at least 15 minuets for them to give us our check. Lee repeatedly asked for us to tip her when we were waiting the EXTRA time for our toes to dry. Was not pleased at all, a complete disappointment I would not recommend. I also feel as if some of these reviews are fake, because this was literally the worst place I have gotten a pedicure at and I get pedicures in different places all the time. I would put 0 stars but Yelp would not let me post without at least one. read more

Michigan has been home for two years, and during my time here, there's not a single place I've enjoyed doing my nails at more than here. Ben (the owner) is welcoming, kind, and absolutely amazing at what he does. Even after moving 20 miles away, I make the trip here because it's so worth it. Be sure to ask for Ben, he's so talented! read more

Dropped in on a whim b/c my nails needed some spiffing up and the Yelp reviews for this place were good. Katherine (sp?) was really speedy, but thorough. Nails looks great and she has me out the door in plenty of time to make an appointment. Great experience. read more

I'm not sure about any of you.... but its a treat when I am able to get a mani-pedi. I usually go just before a trip or to treat myself for my birthday. I went to Joile for the first time in March and asked for a shellac Mani and pedi which cost $72. I though this was a bit high but I didn't have the time to search around for another place as I was leaving for the DR the next day. I explained to the tech that I have small nails beds and to try to avoiding getting the shellac on my skin, because the second i wash my hands, the water gets under the polish and it starts to lift, she said OK. The tech started on my feet first and at that point I felt she was doing a good job but once she started on my hands, that was a whole other ball game. She clipped my skin (in more than one location) and made it bleed. she was being very hard as well. then added nail polish remover on the areas that were already bleeding, which stung like crazy. She tried to act like nothing happened. I didn't complain because I felt bad she was being so nice. After she finished the shellac, i could tell that the shellac clear coat was on my skin but I just wanted to leave and I had already been there of r over and hour and a half. The next day I called and explained my situation to the owner and he asked me to come back in so he could see it. he agreed and personally fixed my nails. after he showed the whole staff how they should be doing shellac. I left for vacation "loving" my nails!! they lasted almost 4 weeks. i was so happy so I went back again in July to get another shellac Mani-pedi and the same thing happened again with a different nail tech. I didn't complain to the owner this time, i just decided to write a review and buy my own shellac kit to do it myself. For the cost of one mani-pedi, i was able to buy all my own supplies and do it my self. i do not recommend this place for shellac. its too expensive and no one knows how to do it!! read more

The first time I went I got here I just had a manicure. It was definitely no-frills quick manicure, but it was ok. Not the best manicure I'd had, but not the worst. There were weird things on the first visit: like they forgot to ask me which nail color I wanted, and they didn't ask me if I wanted my nails filed round or square- they just did them as they wanted. This didn't bother me too much though because the nails ended up looking fine and lasted for a few days. The prices were average for the area. My second trip- not so great. I got a mani-pedi. The pedicure was fine and it was nice that they included the sugar scrub and hot stone massage at no extra cost. What bothered me was that the manager was really attentive to the two ladies next to me like telling them all about their services, telling them about the punch card, and giving them a bonus punch (that was 3 punches 1 for mani, 1 for pedi, and 1 bonus) for whatever reason. But, I didn't get any of this info AND they gave me 1 punch for both the mani-pedi. When I asked about this, he said usually they give 2 punches only if you get the deluxe pedi, but he got special permission from the manager and I got 2 punches. But for some reason the other 2 girls got 3 punches for the same service? Whatever. That probably wouldn't have bothered me so much if it was just that. However, the manicure was not great. The technician had a regular come in right at the start of my manicure (she knew him by name). So it felt like he rushed through my manicure. He put on really thick layers, which made it look clumpy and also made it difficult to dry. Additionally, he didn't bother with any clean up whatsoever, so my cuticles looked messy and I had polish on my skin! He left me at the drying station and that was it. When I walked out no one said good bye or anything. Everyone was busy with their other customers. Since the nail polish was put on extra thick, it took forever drying- one nail did get smudged. I had to be somewhere so I couldn't go back. I tried to salvage it with some topcoat, but it still looked like crap. Definitely will try someplace else next time. read more

This is my regular nail place. It is true that they like to look after their regulars, but they made me feel special from the first time I walked in. Le does my nails and she is very talented and gentle. She gives me a big hug when I walk in. They all know me by name, give me tea or coffee if I ask for it and do a good job. it is not a fancy place but i'm really happy with them every time. read more

Simple, no nonsense mani pedis. You are not going to get a plush robe and a glass of champagne here, but a cold bottle of water, a friendly technicial and a good polish job. Pedis are great, pay the extra few bucks for the delux - worth it! I like the shellac manicures. Polish never stays on my nails and they are weak and brittle but the shellac holds up and I actually have nails (MY NAILS) for the first time in my life! Michelle is a blast, Enjgell is an Angels on your feet. Ben is fun and keeps busy - they are all great. Call for an appointment, or just drop in. Tuesday and Wednesday are theur slower days so someone can usually take you right away! read more

I just paid 40 USD for the worst nail extension service ever. My nails look crap. The nail station was REALLY dirty. The unprofessional lady, took the nail clip and scissors from a drawer which was full or trash, papers, etc.I did not see anything disinfected. When she started to remove my previous nails, I almost cried. It was really painfull and she did not care at all. Then she put the new nails on and shaped them, and what a surprise, any of them where similiar to each other. One of them had a round shape, another a square shape, etc. When I told her that I wanted all nails to be with the same shape, she put me a bad face. She was a mess polishing my nails too. She spent 20 min redoing them again and again. The nail lacquer had a lot of fluff even tho it was "OPI" but the ladie did not maintain it very week. Her conversation was not acceptable. She asked me for my age, how much I was paying for my house, etc. Definetly NOT RECOMMENDED. read more

i went here to get a full set for the first time. first, there was barley anyone in there. i sat down and a lady started to do my nails, she didn't even ask me to choose a color before hand so i waited to choose. i only had a limited amount of money and she pretty much forced me to get shellac, insisting it'll "last longer" when i told her that's not what i wanted but she did it anyway. the finished nails were a bit uneven, and didn't look that great. the worst part, the shellac didn't even last. it's been only a week since and they're all chipped, plus one of my nails has already came off. never coming here again. also VERY over priced. she charged me over $40 for this read more

Meh, not the best pedicure I've ever gotten, but not the worst. I think it depends on the nail tech. Mine seemed slightly inexperienced. The salon itself was clean and well-decorated. The prices were reasonable and on par with most of the nail salons in the area. Not sure I'll go back, but if I do, I'll ask for a different nail tech. read more

Worst pedicure I have ever had! Left with calluses and cracked heels. As customers came in I noticed it was a race to between employees to get the next customer. My manicure was on the ok side. Love the people here - polish is always fresh, they do a great job. I think every tech has worked on me and they do a great job. Even had waxes there and was very pleased. Mani-pedi runs about $35 and they do take appointments; also open Sundays in the Spring/summer read more

I'm not terribly picky about nail salons, but I would definitely recommend you go somewhere other than Jolie Nails. The salon didn't seem terribly clean, and I didn't see my manicurist clean the tools before using them. I got a gel manicure, which lasted 8 days before two of the gels fell off my nails (I have never had a gel manicure fall off, and I have always been able to keep them on for 2 weeks). My manicurist didn't take any care in shaping my nails, and I had to ask her to shape them evenly after she had "finished" them - some were round, some were square, and she left rough edges on all of them. She also did not let me keep my nails in the UV light for the full cycle, rushing me along. She didn't take any care in carefully putting on the gel, either. Not a pleasant experience, I felt very rushed, despite having made an appt. I would not recommend going here. read more

Not the best atmosphere. It's no frills and I got a passable pedicure. Water was lukewarm. $25 for a hot stone pedicure. Not the best foot massage. I guess you get what you pay for. I won't be back. read more

Engjell just did my mani & pedi and as usually he did a great job! I took my 7 year old daughter to get her nails painted and another tech did hers. I've been going to Jolie Nails for at least three years. Jenlee is my nail tech. I absolutely love coming to see her. She understands that my time is limited and is sure to get me in and out as quickly as possible. She's efficient, pleasant, and professional every time I see her. All the other employees are just as wonderful. It's obvious they take pride in their work. Nail salons are a dime a dozen, but Jolie Nails is the one I keep coming back to. I would, and do, recommend them to anyone looking for these kinds of services. read more

I have been going to Jolie Nails for many years. I've tried other places but have always gone back to Jolie Nails because there is no one better!! I would definitely recommend them as a great salon in the area!! They have a fantastic deluxe pedicure with a sugar scrub, wonderful massage with hot stones included all while relaxing in a massaging pedicure chair! My toes always look fantastic and they take special care to make sure you are happy! Enjell does THE BEST job!! It's so incredibly relaxing. I have read some other reviews that people thought the sugar scrub was too intense but if it's too much for you just ask them to lighten up and they will do that. I have never had a problem there -obviously the person doing your pedicure does not feel what you feel- but I do know that they all try to make sure you have a good experience! Enjell does give THE BEST massages but I also recommend Ben and Mee for pedicures as well! Ben has done my nails for years when I had acrylics and then gels and he is certainly the best in my opinion! He has great technique and a very steady hand. He is the owner of the salon for the last several years and I think he has done a good job there. They have refreshments there in a little fridge you can have for free if you are thirsty and the atmosphere is very relaxing with soothing music playing or sometimes the flat screen TV is on. And if you aren't interested in looking at that, the pictures on the walls are beautifully stunning and are perfect for the salon! Ben and Mee also do the very best manicures and their selection of shellac nail polish for shellac manicures is the best in town! I had to take my gel nails off for my job as they were no longer allowed. Of course not having my nails was very traumatic for me!!! I didn't' know what I was going to do!!! But Ben convinced me to do the shellac and I have been doing it now for a couple months and I have to say after being a skeptic, I LOVE IT!! My nails look so healthy and fresh and natural and the shellac even comes in a french manicure!! The colors of the shellac are gorgeous and the manicure is very well done with a very relaxing and soothing hand massage included. I would certainly recommend Jolie Nails to anyone and I already have sent a lot of people their way who now agree with me. Their prices are competitive and the hours of operation make it easy to get an appointment. Parking is easy and is always available. Jolie Nails is the best in the area and that is a fact! I've tried them all so I should know!! read more
