Hadn't been here before but did a walk in pedicure today, after calling to make sure someone was available/had time. There were quite a few people in pedicure chairs early on a Monday afternoon, but they had quite a few staff & they took me right away. I thought she did a terrific job & handled my ingrown toenails very well. In a classic pedi, they don't use a scrub but I enjoyed the lotion, leg and foot massage & she used a hot stone as well. Quite a few desks and pedicure chairs. Place is clean & modern. I enjoyed hearing no tv, just classic piano music. Very relaxing. $36 for the pedicure plus tip, I paid cash. I'm really disappointed with my experience at Royal touch nails and spa. The dip powder colors did not match the samples at all, which made it impossible to know what you're actually getting. When I pointed it out, the staff did nothing to try to fix the issue or make it right. Instead, they dismissed my concern and said the sample was done six years ago, as if that somehow explained the mismatch. If the samples are outdated or inaccurate, they should be updated so customers know what to expect. I left with a color I didn't want and felt like my concern wasn't taken seriously. Very frustrating experience. I will not be coming back. read more

Everybody is very pleasant and helpful. The salon is clean and the techs are efficient. This is not the place to go if you want something super fancy but I just get a shellac pedicure and they are always very helpful with my crazy toe ideas. read more

Since I didn't have any success in getting an appointment for a facial today. I decided to get my nails done instead. My nails are definitely in need of some TLC. The chandeliers everywhere give it an air of elegance in this nail salon. Chandeliers on the walls and the ceilings too. I do like the chandeliers either way. I wanted a bright pink OPI for my toes and nothing on my hands, since they always start to chip within the hour. Mary used hot rocks to massage my legs and feet after cleaning up the cuticles and applying some lotion and then further cleaning with a hot towel afterwards. The fancy archless sandals with the toe splitters are on after only about 15 or so minutes. Using a handheld fan to dry off the base coat. My nail tech, Mary was quick and efficient, but at the same time careful with my feet and fingers too. A nice bright pink for summer for my feet. Mary did a nice job of cleaning up my toes and nails for me today. Under the foot dryer so I might have a chance to wear my street shoes and not the spa shoes. Maddy told me 5 more minutes and put some quick dry solution on my toes. All told I was here about an hour for my pedicure and manicure. Cost me $49 today less the tip, not too bad. I don't take American Express. And they want tips and other services as cash only. Services under $20 must be paid in cash too. Came home and noticed my right pinky had dried blood streaming down the toe. I did notice Mary was trying to stop me from bleeding before putting my foot back into the tub earlier. Must have hit a tender spot on the right side, the left is fine as are the rest of the toes. read more

I wish I had a photo, but sadly I do not. I was gifted a pedicure for Christmas. My technician was quiet and didn't say much. She seemed like she'd rather be anywhere but there... meanwhile everyone else was chatting with the people working with them. Come to find out the next day, she pushed my cuticle so far back on my toe, it had a blood blister. I will not be back. They were so packed and accepting walk-ins left and right. read more

I don't usually get manicures or pedicures for that matter but I wanted my nails to look nice for my son's wedding. Came here because of good reviews and they did not disappoint. They're doing a good job with covid, they had partitions everywhere, everyone's masked up, you have to wash your hands before picking your polish. The manicurist herself did a good job. I just got the basic shellac, nothing fancy but she did all the things you're supposed to do. Trimmed and shaped my nails, pushed back my cuticles, clipped my cuticles. Put on an undercoat, 2 coats of polish and a top coat. All that for $17, seemed like a bargain to me. And then I managed to smudge my nail heading to the drying machine, my girl was already engaged with someone else so the owner fixed it. I'll definitely come back if I need another manicure or pedicure. read more

Noticed some bubbles in the gel, not too big of a deal but two days after my manicure, there was a chip on two nails. I've also had two nails break, not doing anything out of the ordinary, not even a week into this manicure. Super disappointed. read more

5 stars. I usually go to Royal Oak Nails because they are good, popular and the closest to me. However, I came here during Labor Day weekend when the other was closed and I'm happy I did. They were able to give me a same day appointment. I showed up 15 mins late bc I ubered. (Long story) they didn't say anything or give me any trouble. They took me right away with no wait. It's also beautiful in here. Chandeliers galore. Everything looks clean. The color selection was extensive for normal polish, Essie and OPI. They used a hot stone for the pedicure. The massage chairs were great. And they allowed me to tip on my card so I didn't have to stop at an atm. Also they have heated dryers. Very happy I stopped by here. They did a great job! read more

I've been going to Royal touch Nails since it has opened. The atmosphere is relaxing, and I truly enjoy my bi-monthly visits. Normally , I just walk in without an appointment and I'm happy with whoever they send me to. Anna always welcomes me with such a friendly smile and a big hello. I love this Nail spa so much. The spa is so clean and everyone is very friendly and professional. I've been coming here for 4 months and I am always so happy with my powder dip manicure. I always request Van. She is amazing!!! She always goes above and beyond to make sure that I am happy with my nails. My pedicure on the other hand was done by the receptionist, and wasn't the best I've ever had. The best nail spa in Royal Oak hands down! Very clean, updated, large variety of polish colors to choose from. The deluxe pedi with volcano spa, scrub, hot stone massage, lotion etc is amazing for a great price! Highly reccomend this nail spa if you are looking for a place that is clean, and has quality massage chairs that recline all the way back and are heated! My mom and I love coming here! They always take care of us and make us feel so special. My nails last so long and I never have any complaints. I had a dip manicure done at another salon in the area and they did an awful job even after being specific with what I wanted. I went to Royal Touch immediately after I left this other salon just to have them soak the nails off because I was so upset with how they turned out. Katherine was so good to me. She asked if she could try to fix them first before we soaked them off, I agree to it and she made them look great! She was patient and kind and understanding when this was not even something she had anything to do with! I've had great shellac and dip manicures here before and will be making this my go to spot for nails going forward. read more

Don't waste your money. This wasn't worth $40. Literally she should have just said she couldn't drive the design instead of putting this ugly thing on my finger. On top of that she barely removed my cuticles so tbh is is going to grow out in about two days. The matte top coat doesn't cover the entire polish so it's unevenly shiny and there is top coat all around the nail on my skin. Literally going to get them redone tomorrow at a different place. Must have had a bad employee bc these reviews are misleading. On top of it, as I'm checking out the other woman at the front desk was so angry I was tipping on my credit card that she picked up the post-it sized "cash tips preferred" sign and waved it in my face. I literally just moved here and can't believe this is considered the #1 salon in my area. read more

Nice place high prices not every technician is qualified or talented. I got a shellac manicure and the polish was warped I said something but she finished then said come back but on their time . Terrible place I wouldn't recommend. Sat for so long before being helped. They put the foil on my fingers and forgot about me 25 mins later. Brought a gift certificate in & asked for whatever the certificate honored. They did something more expensive on my nails that I didn't know was more expensive and made me cover it on top of my gift certificate. Never going back. read more

Based on the pedicure I got this place deserves 4 stars. I'm happy with the work they did. However, I did not like that even though I made an appointment for 3:30 they didn't start me until closer to 4:15. So if you are coming here make sure you have time to wait. read more

I love the way my nails come out every time I get a mani and pedi there. They have a wide variety of colors to choose from for shellac nail polish. One of my nails had cracked from the middle and they were able to repair it without any additional charge. I have been there twice so far and was seen relatively promptly both times. Definitely a mixed review from me. Sometimes I am so happy when I leave, but recently have noticed inconsistencies in quality. Today I received a fabulous pedicure which looks amazing. Was handed over to another tech (owner?) for the manicure. Have bubbles and lumps and the polish is over my cuticles. When I asked to fix a couple of spots (very nicely, because, hey...it happens), there was a noticeable shift in the attitude. My fingernails look awful. Won't be coming back, which is unfortunate , because my feet look great! 5 stars for pedicure, 1 star for mani. read more

My first trip to this nail salon was about a year ago and got a no chip manicure! My nails turned out really nice, and lasted for weeks without chipping! I asked for a flower accent nail, but it looked more like a pinwheel but it still looked fine. This past weekend I made my second trip to this nail salon was to get gel nails removed and a regular manicure. The lotion that they use for the manicure smells amazing! I got a very light pink color which was pretty but it was a little lumpy in some areas due to the chalky color. Overall the nail salon is very clean and the tools they use for the manicure appears to be taken out of sterile bag. The whole place is very updated and the color selection is nice. The pricing also seems to be pretty reasonable. The techs are friendly and I can see myself returning here if I am in the area. read more

I came to this salon after reading reviews on the safeguards implemented for COVID. Upon arriving, I felt very comfortable and safe. After a temperature check, I was immediately asked to wash my hands. I was impressed with the plexiglass in between each nail station and in between the pedicure chairs. I got a French gel manicure. I requested an ombré French manicure but the person who could do it was not in that day. Nonetheless, I was pleased with the results. I also got a pedicure that was very relaxing. This is well worth the 25min drive. Will be visiting again! read more

Lady totally messed up my girls nails. Said they color would dry to be another color but it came out looking like . The nails are also very crooked. They even had the audacity to ask for a tip afterwards, and didn't say thank you for the tip. read more

I hate to give three stars. I enjoyed the place. It was nice and brand new. Everything seemed clean. The lady that did my nails was super nice. I'm sure they can do better in quality though. One I think they can do better on cuticles. I hate it when polish is put on top of cuticles. Second, I wish they would use a brush with alcohol to clean off access polish as opposed to their own nails. I will give this place another shot soon. Everyone is beyond nice, I just hope the quality gets better. read more

I think that must have made the guy mad or something because he sped though my hands as fast as possible cut my fingers all ways with his drill, didn't file them and didn't clean them whatsoever, I will post photos below. He then tried to charge me $60 for the experience and I made him drop it to $40...which is still wildly overpriced for walking out with cuts and scrapes and uglier nails. Jeez thanks. NEVER GO HERE.

My polish is streaky, the bright yellow for the flowers and the flowers themselves are not like the photo. I kept showing and asking for corrections and nothing.
