I personally enjoy getting my nails done at Nail 07 they use organic products, it's a clean and relaxing environment and I'm always pleased with the finished product. The reason for the 3 stars is I would suggest to not going to this salon on a Sunday because it's super busy. I was taken by a nail tech started on and then left while other clients who came in behind me were serviced. The person didn't inform anyone of that and I was a bit frustrated but I still gave a nice size tip to my Person for noticing that I was not being serviced. Cute interior, very much a calming environment. Big plush chairs for pedicures. A large assortment of OPI and so many color options too. Service is good and pretty efficient too. I have patronized this place 5 or 6 times this year, and I love the consistency, atmosphere, location, and superior service. I appreciate that I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes for service, and they always try to accommodate parties so they can sit together. That's important to me. If I go into a salon with my family or friend, I want to enjoy the experience with them. I also appreciate the professionalism of the staff. They are so accommodating, skilled, and not overly chatty. Well, glad that is over. I just finished my deluxe pedicure experience ($77) and well I am truly unimpressed. I was expecting a somewhat luxurious experience for the $77 cost. A couple of weak scrubs and lotions - nothing more than what I have received elsewhere for MUCH cheaper. The few minute massage received was weak and my feet kept on bumping into her chest. Awks. I truly felt like my technicians heart was not into it. She was interrupted by another technician talking to her. Struck me as unprofessional. When it came time to pay (thank goodness I had a gift card) they couldn't charge my gift card with the tip amount so that was frustrating. Just wholly disappointed and will be giving the remainder of my gift card to anyone who wants! Not worth the time and DEFINITELY not worth the price. read more

I just had a TERRIBLE experience here! Hannah T provided awful service. She was pushy, rude and aggressive. She insisted on trimming my cuticles after I *repeatedly* told her not to. She tried to overcharge me for a paraffin wax treatment (charged for feet when I had my hands done) and - worst of all - gave me a shellac manicure (which will now destroy my nails for the next 6 months) when I very clearly asked for normal polish. I was chatting with a friend and distracted, but honestly, she totally ignored me and it cost me $119 dollars I never meant to spend. I will NOT be returning. Made an appointment for 2 (both pedicure only) one day. No issues. Called today to make another for 2 on a Saturday at 1230 and was told to just walk in. Okay! I'm hoping it all works out. First trip there was $34 per plus a $5 tip for husband (no polish) and a $10 tip from me. Total for 2 was $83. My pedicure is almost a month old and it looks great! It was a quiet and relaxing hour or so and I'm returning this week. Nice people. Everyone spoke English perfectly--if that matters to you. I called before I went in to ask how much a pedicure was - whoever I spoke with told me $30/each. I walked in with my husband, we both had excellent pedicures from Mia and John, and when I confirmed the price to tip them, they again confirmed that the pedicures were $30. They charged us $84 total and when I complained they said there was nothing they could do. Extremely sad to see businesses operating this way and being dishonest. DO NOT COME HERE ! I called them at 6:00 prior to coming in for a GELX and Pedicure, and they told me to come.. even though they close at 7:30... so I came, and they said two technicians would work on me at the same time but that it would be $10 more just for that reason... OK... My pedicure was okay, but my GELX experience was terrible. First off I had a young technician, and she applied two out 5 of my nails crooked, and was not confident during her work. She attempted to fix it it prior to removing the nails and they still looked crooked...At this point her aunt took over my GELX and restarted my entire right hand. She was taking longer than usual for GEL X and did not prep my nails properly, additionally she applied my nails crooked too and had to remove them.. I was still there at 9pm trying to get this completed, and when they asked me to pay a total of $167...for GEL X and a basic gel pedicure.. there were 2 credit card fees even though I only used one card to pay, and the additional $10 for having two technicians work on me (one for the pedi and one for the GEL X) This amount is excessive compared to other salons and the poor work that they provide... the worst part is that the next day after I scrubbed out of my OR case, my nail polish had chipped off in 7 nails... I called the salon to get it fixed, and my concerned weren't acknowledged... in fact Sophia said "After speaking to the technician, they spent too much time with you, and we cant help you, so you would have to get it fixed somewhere else" She basically was calling me a lying and stating that there is no way that my gel polish had chipped off... Then she said that the supervisor would call me, and I have yet to receive a call... They have terrible customer service, and are frankly robbing people money with their poor services. They are unprofessional and I would not recommend this salon to ANYONE ! Infact they shouldnt be in business. read more

I've been to Salon 07 many times in the past few years, and have had a good experience every time. The chairs are comfortable, everything looks and smells very clean, the polish stays on, and the staff is nice. When I was in this past week, Lisa did my manicure and pedicure. She was beyond nice. I found her to charming and exceedingly kind. Her wonderful service is the thing that got me to write a review. Next time I go in, I will be asking for her by name. read more

Pretty place. Little dais' with seats where you sit to get your pedicure. Nail bar is up front. Love the way the pedicure chairs are built up- don't like the lack of massage chairs. They said something about if your massage is less than 35 minutes let them know and it's free. One thing very important to know is they only accept cash tip and NO the ATM in the shop doesn't work- so make sure to bring some cash with you. I didn't ask but seem to have different levels of pedicures offered. No one let us know the differences so I'm not sure. I like to have my feet rubbed when I get a pedicure, but I think my girl had some other goings to get to as my foot rub was very short. She got to me after some other girls got to people next to me and she was done before they were done. There appeared to be some very happy regulars there- but I did not find the customer service to be all that great. read more

For some reason, I keep going back to Nails 07 thinking that I'll have a better experience. My mistake. I walked in to get a simple eyebrow shaping. There were 4 clients getting manicures, with 6 employees sitting on the couches in the lobby. Six. With name tags, so I couldn't have mistaken them for patrons. They told me to have a seat and wait. While they all scrolled on their phones and ate some snacks, I waited for 10 minutes. I finally gave up and walked out. If all these employees are on their break, I'd suggest lounging in a back break room or even the pedicure chairs in the back of the salon. But instead, they lounge in the lobby with no interest in taking care of customers. I hope I finally learn my lesson to drive the few miles farther to actually get decent service. read more

Sam was great! I was looking to get my nails done so stopped by this place since it wasn't too busy and it was still open. I got a mani pedi. What a pedi it was! This is different than your typical spa. When you get a pedi, there are no massage chairs. They are big white comfy chairs that are Ina riser. When you get your mani, it is a very simple area without a bunch of tools or chemicals. They don't use acrylics or dips. Sam explained all of that to me and how they avoid using stuff that is bad for your nails. The pedi- they take their time to make sure they really spoil your feet. There is a 30 or 35 minute minimum on the pedicure. I have no had such a good foot massage with a pedicure. I also added the paraffin wax for my feet. It was extra but so worth it. Left my feet extra soft. I highly recommend this place! read more

This is for the Royal Oak shop. There are "Nail Places" everywhere! We know they vary place to place and varies by technician. I have not had a bad or even so/so manicure. So many nail places are hit and miss. The techs here must have all been properly trained because my nails always look fabulous and last a long time. I had never had a pedicure before because I worried it would be too traumatic and hazardous. I work in healthcare, so I feel I am more paranoid. Nails 07 was clean and healthy. Stay far away from this place, especially if you're getting a service for a special occasion. They marketed Mother's Day packages, took reservations for Mother's Day services, and then claimed that the reservations didn't exist on the big day. Look, things happen -- if they lost the reservations they absolutely took and reconfirmed, OK. But they didn't lift a finger to make it right, taking walk-ins before trying to fit those with the lost reservations in. They then refused to refund the packages on the spot, even though they were unable to provide the purchased services and ruined the Mother's Day of two people. Total mess. The services were fine. In fact I had been going here for years. One day the salon was exceptionally busy . I finished a pedicure and was waiting for the technician to begin my manicure. At that point, the man with the clipboard began yelling at me, insinuating that I had somehow snuck in without checking in. "WHERE'D YOU COME FROM!?! YOU'RE NOT ON THE SHEET!" In fact, I had waited more than 45 minutes for the pedicure to begin and had been in the salon for over 90 minutes by that point. She took her time and I never felt she was rushing to get on to another customer. Great nail salon! One of the cleanest in the area with tons of chairs. I've never had to wait very long to get in and every person I've seen there has done a terrific job on my shellac manis and pedis. They don't rush you in and out and I find my mani pedis last longer from here than anywhere else. My *only* negative is that it is a little pricey. However they do such a fabulous job that it is worth it at the end of the day for such great service. read more
