This is a beautiful salon. Lots is spa chairs and everything is new. I was searching for a spot to get a new set. I came across them and saw all the beautiful nails they've done. It was a Sunday and shocked they were able to take us in. So grateful they did! Eddie worked on my nails. I'm so impressed with Eddie's work. I came in with a set in mind. I've never seen this color before. With confidence he instantly knew what the color was and customized it for me to get the perfect shade. Where I'm from up north in Sonoma we don't have any salons that do the transparent acrylic with powder. So he didn't even use a gel polish at all! The coffin shape is perfect, the length is perfect, the color is perfect. Everyone here was really friendly and professional. We will definitely come back when we visit again. read more

So my mom recommended this salon and I went there for the first time today. The salon is super cute and very clean - the atmosphere is also super relaxing. After reading through some reviews, I asked for an appointment with Wendy. I brought a design for inspiration and asked if it was possible. Wendy took time to talk through the idea with me and see which options I liked best for the design. I left this nail salon bleeding on multiple fingers from filing. I went in for a dip manicure and the tech did not get the almond shape I wanted, making them too wide and round. I asked to get them a little sharper but when she was filing I was flinching the whole time because somehow it was filing my finger and not my nail. I nearly got up and left it was so painful. The only reason for even hesitating to go back is that my roommate has had the best experience there. She got the best dip mani and a very detailed pedicure. I found JoJo nails via Yelp after looking for a new nail salon to go to near my home. I'm extremely picky with my nails so I was really hoping to walk out happy from this place. Scheduling the appointment was easy and they took me RIGHT at my appointment time. They offered water which was lovely and the nail techs who did my dip manicure and pedicure were really sweet and took their time. The place is super clean, spacious, not cluttered. Parking was fairly easy, however, I could see it getting pretty packed during peak hours. I found this new nail salon on Yelp, as I was in the area running some errands and wanted to get a last minute pedicure done. Upon arrival, there was plenty of parking available and the interior of the salon is beautiful - nice and bright and also very clean! They also have plexiglass partitions for safety between nail tech and client. What I really loved most about this salon though, is their attention to detail and also the time they take to really care about the client. I've been to many nail salons before, and sometimes they rush the job to get you out the door but it wasn't the case here. I was so impressed with the service at Jojo Nails as they really took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the service I was receiving and also offered me a beverage to enjoy. I had the signature pedicure with gel color and was really happy with the outcome. Lily was wonderful and I can tell she took the time not to rush and the managers even checked in to see how I was doing. So thankful to find a brand new nail salon in Costa Mesa. The salon is shiny, new (open 3 weeks in CM when I went there today 2.17.21) clean, and well laid out. Please look at their website. Nice photos. I called and made an appointment over the phone. They immediately answered, were attentive to my needs, and the staff was quick to give me a warm welcome when I walked in! Andy worked on my nails with a new set of pink and white (French) dip while Nancy took care of a classic pedicure for me. Both techs (they are so amazing!!) were so kind to my skin and nails, making sure not to hurt me and very open to requests or suggestions, which I found very nice to come upon. Nancy is so darn adorable and sweet, and Andy made me chuckle. I dig him! My pedicure with Nancy was simple, clean and beautifully polished. I don't really do fancy stuff with that, (her wonderful massage was so needed-thank you Nancy!). I could tell that Andy is quite the perfectionist as he measured each nail to make sure both hands matched accordingly as he dipped along, and shaped them to a beautiful coffin style. I love them! I look forward to returning for refreshers again. Quick note, they do take credit card payments of course, but cash is always appreciated for their tips please. It makes the transaction process so much simpler and individualized for each technician and is appreciated there. I think they also did a great job because I worked with them as they move your body, hands, fingers as needed. If you work with them and don't sit (or slump over) playing on your phone the whole time, they'll get more accessibility to the angles they need to work on your nails if you pay attention to their next steps. Bring your patience and time. If you want artful and quality work, give these folks the time they need to make sure you walk out as happy as you can be. Sure, there's a little foreign conversation between the team now and then, but they're so focused on work and things that need to get done...I never felt uncomfortable or unwelcome in any way. Had the best mani/pedi I've had in a very long time. Nina went above and beyond the call of dity in making sure I was happy with my manicure. Her massage was sooo good I purchased 10 min shoulder massage with her. I would have to say my only complaint was that my hands/fingers didn't soak in hot water but that's nothing compared to the service I received. I will hopefully come back soon. I had come on Valentines Day looking just for two pedicures & an acrylic set. I had asked for a gel french manicure & the guy that was doing my nails was unable to complete the french & started to get frustrated w me. He continued to say I'm too difficult to deal with when I had only expressed to him once that the french didnt look right then he decided he wont continue the set I had chosen & only wanted to continue if only Gel color. He never mentioned he was unable to do the set & was persistent to do the set !! The man that had done my nails was very unprofessional & very rude. I had to go back home right after to fix my nails. They didn't have the top coat color for French tips in regular polish only gel and they didn't tell me until the polish was already on.
