I originally came in to have my acrylics removed, and she did such an amazing job preserving and caring for my natural nails. I was honestly impressed with how healthy they looked afterward. I ended up getting my nails done again with a gel manicure, and they turned out beautiful. The attention to detail was incredible, and the whole experience felt relaxed and welcoming. She was so kind and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend Jojo's Nails if you're looking for quality work and great service.

I Love Jojo's! Lan is my favorite and I have been a very happy customer of her for over 6 years now. Everyone is wonderful. The shop is super clean and relaxing. I definitely recommend ‍

Lan and everyone who works at JoJo are the best!! She did an amazing and thorough job as always and I love the attention to detail. Will keep coming back here!

First time here absolutely loved the experience. I wanted to try almond nails and I'm so glad Helen encouraged me because I love them! I showed her a photo and she made an incredible color match! My pedicure was by Nancy and it was the best I have ever had. She really got my feet smoother than they have ever been, her attention to detail is unmatched and the massage was a reason enough to come back. So happy I have found a beautiful place to get my nails done well!

I had an amazing experience with Ivy and Lang. The best gel X manicure and the most incredible pedicure. So relaxing I didn't want to get up. Definitely recommend it.

My go-to nail spot!!!! Nancy is the absolute best and my nails always are exactly what I want and last so long. The vibe is luxurious, relaxed, and clean. I love it here and highly recommg

I have been coming here for the past 8 months now, and I have mixed reviews. On one hand, the pedicures are the best pedicures I've ever had. I normally hated pedicures at my last nail salon, but they do an excellent job here. The sets I've been getting are inconsistent, however. At times I get a hot towel for my hands and others I am told to wash my hands. Sometimes I get a hand massage with oil, and other times I just get the service. Either way, the pricing is much more than I am used to paying, but it's close to work and I can go here afterwards. Everyone is nice and helpful here.

This mani is actually 3 weeks old! Still on point!

Sandra C.

I showed Lisa a pic of the festive Cmas nail art I desired. She "nailed it"...mom pun intended!! Appointment times are with in 5 minutes! The salon itself is beautiful and parking is easy! Great location for Costa Mesa, Newps, etc! U get a lot of bang for your buck! Cheers! Sandra Cook

Update: I never heard back but looks like after I posted my review, my review happened to be buried under multiple other fake looking reviews after, the owner chose to respond to those but ignore an unhappy customer who received very poor work, speaks volumes. Also it's been a week and a nail has already broke off yesterday! My 13 year old niece does nails and she does nails way better than the work I received here, she said they did a horrible job. I came here because I wanted something more complicated, flowers and chrome which when I asked they were unable and unwilling to do, so we went simple which they still messed up. My second time coming here The first time I came a little over two weeks ago and just got a pedicure they did a good job It was simple just a solid color But 2 weeks later both of my large toenails randomly cracked on different days and that has never happened before so I'm wondering if it's because they filed my nails too thin I waited a few days to come in to get it fixed because I was busy, came in yesterday afternoon and asked for French tip gel x and French tip pedicure Some of the worst work I've ever received My nails are super thick and uneven The lines are messy, there are very thick layers of glue underneath each nail The texture is uneven and bumpy As for my pedicure they fixed both the cracked toenails The French tip is uneven and unflattering I almost always get French tip and always love it but this is the worst French tip pedicure I've received unfortunately Which is such a shame because I was hoping to make this my new nail salon since it's so beautiful inside I'm not sure how they have so many positive reviews when the actual work is not good I was charged more than any other salon I've been to for essentially something on the simpler side, French tip. $90 for my gel x which was very poorly done and I hate $80 for my pedicure which is uneven and got polish on my skin $171 they charge an extra dollar for payments with a card for a service I'm very unhappy with not including what I tipped even though I hate them If the owner can just reach out to me and have one of his employees that is more skilled to either remove both the pedicure and the gel x with a refund or preferably redo them I will update my review I can't keep having these nails, need them removed or redone asap Very unhappy with the work Update: Owner chose to ignore my review and bury it instead upon fake reviews I still have them on but I will be removing them tomorrow finally thank god DON'T come here! Overpriced and they don't care about the quality of their work or the satisfaction of their clients. Plenty of other nail salons do a much better job.

First time visiting JoJo Nails and I will be back! I called near closing and they welcomed me in, and instead of rushing through the experience as I expected, I received a thorough and excellent manicure/ pedicure. The gel was applied on my fingers in a thin manner which is my preference, and they did not unnecessarily file my nail beds when I warned of my tendency of brittle nails. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is calm and clean. Lan was a delight to make conversation with-- every interaction with the staff was professional and kind. My nails came in needing some love, and they earned themselves a hopeful regular. read more

Jojo Nails is a really beautiful location, they were able to make an appointment for me the same day and when I arrived they immediately sat me and started my service. Lan is my go to lady here!!! I have been coming here for over 3 years. She is the absolute best. She is so detailed, takes her time making sure the end product is exactly what you came in for. Her patience makes the final product worth your time and money. Wendy takes care of hard gel/builder to make me feel super excited to see the end result. So friendly and gets the shape and colors perfect to your desire. Book your appointment with both of them ASAP! Wow. You guys. I promise you this is not an exaggeration. In the past 15 years I have gotten my nails done, this is the best set I have ever experienced. Literally. I found this place because I needed somewhere super close, it looks very clean and pretty and thus trustworthy. I had looked at the reviews and loved their work. I saw Wendy referenced a few times in the photos so I requested her services for my appointment. Not gonna lie, they were pricey and Wendy upsold me the Gel-X nail set but I'm not even mad. In fact, the contrary - I am in LOVE with my set. I got them done on October 22nd and I am writing this review today, December 3rd, as I prepare for my next appointment. I wouldn't even want or need to get them redone if I hadn't broken my pinky nail :,( That's right - this set lasted nearly perfectly for 42 DAYS !! I have gotten endless compliments and I myself am utterly obsessed and can't wait for my next set. Wendy at JoJo's Nails is who you need to see and where you need to be. read more

I came in with my friend and they said that they could fit us in on a busy day. They got to working on my friend immediately. I waited almost an hour just for them to serve 3 other people (walk ins) who came in AFTER me. As my friend's pedicure was finishing up, they looked me in dead in the eye and said "do you want to come in tomorrow?" And that they couldn't serve me today. After some push back they told me I could wait another 20 minutes. I am not a Karen by any means but that was ridiculous. Would not recommend. read more

The pictures say it all. This place is incredibly accommodating and a very clean environment. I called at 6:30 and they closed at 7:30 and they stayed. I was the last customer there. They stayed until 740 for me. I felt terrible. They were so so nice about it. I'm obsessed with my nails. They are perfect... perfectly done. $42 for gel and the lady that did my nails was super friendly. However, if you're looking for a place that does outstanding designs and trendy nails, this may not be the best place. Although they are clean and provide excellent service, the people working here seem like amateurs and not have many years of experience. You'll be fine getting clean gel manicures but don't expect perfection. Looks like the lady did the bare minimum. For a quick mani/pedi you'll walk out looking decent. read more

I stopped by for a gel pedicure. I loved how clean this salon was! The service was polite and was not rushed. I appreciate being able to relax and not feel like they are just trying to get me in and out. My only complaint was that I asked for my toes to be cut square and they came out a bit unevenly. Overall they looked good enough but I had to remove a star cause of that. The gel itself is holding up perfectly. Maybe if I go again and try someone else it might come out a little better. read more

My daughter had the polish scraped off her big toe nail an hour after we left the salon. I thought it was because the nail color just wasn't set and she wasn't careful. We went back because we were still close by and they painted over the messed up nail. I would have been happier if they removed the remaining polish and then redid that nail, but no. Just painted over to patch it up. Not perfect anymore but oh well. Then today, after over 18 hours later (PLENTY of time to dry), I wore shoes and this happened!!! The polish never set and it rubbed off. I'm 30 min away and not willing to go back for them to fix it as I'm already frustrated from yesterday. I am very disappointed. read more

To say she is literally an angel is an understatement. I highly highly recommend her and checking out this salon if you are new to waxing or looking for someone that can literally make you feel at ease. Cleanliness was top-notch! The manager should be ashamed. I'm upset to write this after being a loyal client for two years. During my most recent appointment, I asked the manager about the design pricing and raised concerns about cleanliness. The nail file used on me did not appear to be new, and I noticed debris and residue on the drill bits. When I asked about their sanitation practices, I felt my questions were met with defensiveness rather than clear answers. I paid for the service and even tipped my regular nail tech extra. Later, management told me I was no longer welcome back. (Management took zero accountability and said that this was a decision based upon my nail tech who I considered a friend and was even going to do my wedding nails..) I'm disappointed that raising concerns about something as important as hygiene ended my relationship with a salon I had supported for so long. I encourage prospective clients to look closely at whether fresh nail files and clean drill bits are being used and to ask questions if anything concerns them. This should have been a concern to fix not ban a client over.. very strange and unprofessional.
