This was my first time coming here for Gel-X nails, and Jackie absolutely exceeded my expectations! I showed her an inspiration photo for the holiday season with Valentine's Day coming up, and she was so patient and thoughtful--she gave me several red options to choose from and really took her time with the details. The end result was phenomenal. I'm beyond happy with my nails and will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much, Jackie!

JoJa Nails on the outside looks great and you can get a great service if you come on the right day and dont run into John or Jackie. This is the kind of place doesnt care about customer service and about getting the most out of you no matter what. Damages natural nails and only wants to get the most amount of money they can from you. Example- made an appointment for a fill in and design. I had naturally long nails and then in order to charge me for a full set decided to cut my natural nail down to the bone and then blames me for having no nail and requiring to charge me for tips. Unprofessional, not worth it and disappointing ownership/management. There are great technicians (Yumi and Blia) but Jackie has on multiple occasions been unnecessarily rude, blamed me for her mistake by being careless and not asking before just hacking my nails down to nothing. Never doing business here again

Jackie is always super nice and does an awesome job! i told her i was worried about her doing so many stars and it was okay if she couldn't, she said "i can do anything" and she showed it!

Chipped nails after three days later, paint on cuticles.

I had a really disappointing experience at Joja nails. I stopped by and a member of the team said that I should come back in an hour. I came back an hour later, and had to wait 20 min to get my nails done. I asked for a broken nail to be fixed, gel builder and a gel manicure. My nails were rushed to get done (finished within 20 minutes). While they looked good at first its now only three days later and three of them have chipped and my broken nail which was glued together is already separated. $50 service with additional 20% tip I had hoped the nails would last at least a week especially because I was told builder gel is supposed to make the nails last?

Stopped in while in Raleigh on business, and had a great experience. Had an SNS manicure, and left very pleased.

I've been here 3x's without complaint. I originally found them on IG and saw the designs they could give so I was on board. I booked with Quinn and she's my go-to. From what I've seen others are capable and super nice too! I'm a simple design girl who has been getting gel-builder for over 10 years but had a horrible experience at another shop in Wake Forest that caused my nails to break so I had to start over with my overlays. Quinn asked me about trying the dip powder and it's been amazing. My nails are almost the length I want them in about 1 month (they were low as you can imagine and brittle). I also love their policy on not putting your phone on speaker to talk to whoever is calling you. Wear your earpiece because it's rude and I don't want to hear your entire convo! I book my appointments online as well. They also offer comp drinks like other places.

Tiny bumps in polish on all nails.

My daughter and I met here for some "mother-daughter time" Friday evening. A series of event unfolded that made the experience less than awesome, unfortunately. My daughter was late coming from her job. I went ahead and started my pedicure without her, as she was only doing a manicure. My pedicure looks great! The manicure technician did my entire manicure while sitting in the pedicure chair. I never had a fan put on my nails. The polish - specifically the top coat - seemed thick. As it dried, the polish on every finger developed tiny bumps in the coat. My daughter arrived, and while the process was efficient, I would say her experience was less than relaxing. There was no "official" drying table, her nails were painted quickly, and she was told to sit because "she was not in a hurry" and keep her fingers in front of a small fan. Even the checkout process felt rushed and like we were an afterthought. I believe that Joja Nails has very talented and friendly technicians. I just wish they had taken a bit more time, or - especially since my daughter was late (entirely my child's fault) that they had told us to reschedule to a slower time. I cannot imagine that I am the only person who wants to relax when I receive a pedicure/manicure. I left anything but relaxed.

Great designs! However my nails would crack very easy and peal off. So if I wanted a good design, this is the place for me.

In the past, I've been loyal to one local chain boutique nail salon, but after a bad experience the last time, I was ready to branch out and try someplace new. Enter Nail Yeah! I had the best experience. I can truly say this is where I'll be coming now. I was impressed with not only the quality of the manicure and the cleanliness of the studio, but also the conversation with my nail tech Paulina and owner Crystal and the small, intimate feeling of the salon. I wasn't elbow to elbow with other clients or squeezing around work stations! Further, I felt super safe in regards to COVID precautions being taken by the salon with everybody wearing masks, receiving a temperature check at the door, being asked to wash my hands upon entrance, and Paulina wearing gloves and changing out paper towels and towels on her work station throughout my manicure. Finally, I'm really impressed with the social media presence of Nail Yeah!. I love that Crystal uses her business and her platform to amplify important causes. I love that I feel not only safe, but welcome as a gay client. I love that their values align with mine and I know I'm supporting good people and good values when I come to Nail Yeah!

I liked the short pinkish color I settled on. There want many options but I am very satisfied with this color. I purchased short press ons that included the entire kit. I followed the directions. I installed right before bed (so that my nails could set without any use after install). At least three didn't even hold up for a full 24 hours. The application process was a bit difficult compared to other press ons (like Kiss).

The massage chair you sit in during the pedicure is strong and really effective to loosen muscles in the back. They will offer you wine to sip as you get your nails done. There is an option for kids too, and men (just ask). Inside there are many stations for feet and hands, so it would be great for a group appointment. Soon there will be a full bar and Kereoke. Kelly does an absolutely incredible job with the nail art, and every technician we experienced has a great eye to detail. Highly recommend!

I didn't realize it was the same place as my first bad experience, so I decided to give them another chance. I got both a pedi and a mani, and neither service was acceptable. The first technician who started my pedicure cut my big toenail unevenly. When I pointed it out, he said he would "file it down" to fix it, but filing it only made the nail crooked. Already frustrated, I asked for someone else. June stepped in... while she was kind and gave a great foot massage, she also did not correct the issue. After realizing neither technician could fix the mistake, I ended up filing it myself. Then came the manicure. An older lady, who was the only person not wearing a mask, began doing my nails. I immediately noticed smudges and polish all over my skin. When I pointed it out, she grabbed the acetone and (supposedly accidentally) squirted it in my face. This was honestly the part that upset me the most. While she shaped my nails pretty decent, the polish application was sloppy, and she even scratched my skin. She tried to file my other hand, but I declined because I was already marked up from the first. After all of this, no one offered a genuine apology -- and they still had the nerve to ask for a tip. I do not recommend this place.
