Do not go to this establishment if you aren't Asian. There is a different price for each person that comes in. My wife went back as a repeat customer and was treated so poorly. She made her pre pay in cash-didn't measure the dress back ( which my wife tried on to show her what was needed) she came in to adjust-and opened the while she was charging room with other customers in the building. This exposed her to the customers. There are no locks on the door & my wife said to hold on. As a woman, she knows how inappropriate this is. My wife was standing there in panties only trying to wrestle the door closed. When the shoddy work wasn't done correctly she told to wear something over it-the exact opposite reason that she went there in the first place. For her to intentionally try to expose fellow woman is inexcusable. Shame on you you. We had used her in the past and she took credit & debit too. She could not add up the pricing of the items to match the $70 of cash that she saw. 10 + 10 + 15 + 14 does not = $70. Even though we are looking at a $21 discrepancy to start with, she offers to refund $15 for the dress she did nothing to. If she didn't try it on & noticed then she wouldn't have gotten that. If you use her make sure you get an itemized breakdown before & check her math & likely she expects you to haggle it down. Her son speaks perfect English & she may call him. read more

I recommend getting a quote for the alternations before checking out. I had a bridesmaid dress to hemmed anticipated for the cost to be around $50-60 but it ended up costing $90. The dress did have 3 layers. The seamstress was very nice & sweet and they completed the dress in a week as promised. It was just more expensive than I anticipated so definitely not a reasonably priced establishment. read more

I've never really understood the importance of having a tailor in my life as I thought that a service like this should be reserved for special occasion garments. But after refusing to let go of my favorite bathing suit due to a broken seam, I decided to give this tailor a try. I came in looking to get my prom dress hemmed and possibly resized. I'm a very short female and on the rather chubby side so when I my dress came in too small I just wanted to see if any adjustments could be made. The lady I spoke did not speak english very well but I tried to be accommodating. She made me try the dress on in a small changing room and when I came out of the room I was told stand in the middle of the shop as she did her measurements. Mind you the front door was wide open and I had a dress that did not zip up leaving my entire backside and part of my underwear exposed. She did not understand what I was trying to say at all and when I simply asked her to give me a quote she continued to make comments about my dress and my body in the dress. "Big Problem" "Wow dress so tight" "Not for you" This was not only extremely unprofessional but embarrassing and hurtful. I came to see if I could get the dress mainly hemmed not to be shamed for my body. Overall I walked out of the store with my dress in hand unsatisfied and tears in my eyes.
