I usually go to Diamond Alterations, but decided to try this business while I was at Firewheel shopping today (3/2). Needed a dress hemmed about 1 inch, because it was too long, and I need it in five days, by close of business Friday. For context, provided pictures of hem and dress material tag. The male attendant 'studied' the hem (inner and outer shell) for about three minutes and then gave me an absolutely RIDICULOUS quote of $120!! I guess I'll be going to Diamond Tailor tomorrow or taking out my own sewing machine so I can get the job done in about 15-20 min (5-10 min because I'm rusty ). That is absolutely ridiculous! I'd even pay $50-$60 understanding this is a business, knowing full well the true cost is about $10, but $120?! Absolutely not. My family won't be going back and we do not recommend.

This is in September 2026. She instead did something completely different to every shirt that had nothing to do with what I had showed her to do, this makes me think she might have no vision. Wasted overpaid much money $$ & a week of my waiting for her botched work, then I had to take all the same shirts to pay another tailor shop elsewhere.

She made her pre pay in cash-didn't measure the dress back ( which my wife tried on to show her what was needed) she came in to adjust-and opened the while she was charging room with other customers in the building. This exposed her to the customers. There are no locks on the door & my wife said to hold on. As a woman, she knows how inappropriate this is. My wife was standing there in panties only trying to wrestle the door closed. When the shoddy work wasn't done correctly she told to wear something over it-the exact opposite reason that she went there in the first place. For her to intentionally try to expose fellow woman is inexcusable. Shame on you you. We had used her in the past and she took credit & debit too. She could not add up the pricing of the items to match the $70 of cash that she saw. 10 + 10 + 15 + 14 does not = $70. Even though we are looking at a $21 discrepancy to start with, she offers to refund $15 for the dress she did nothing to. If she didn't try it on & noticed then she wouldn't have gotten that. If you use her make sure you get an itemized breakdown before & check her math & likely she expects you to haggle it down. Her son speaks perfect English & she may call him.
