    Brussel Sprouts were really good!

Pretty solid steak house. Ocean Prime is still in the lead, but Joey Chops is a close second. Although my 10 oz. filet was slightly over-charred on the end it was perfectly cooked internally, medium well. The lobster was the star of the show. Pretty solid Old fashion from the bartender, who was pretty cool.

This place isn't a 3 but going by my other reviews, it's really not a 4 - in fact overall we were a little disappointed. Everything was good but with a bill including tip to be over $260 for the two of us, it better be more than just good. Our server Cory was very friendly and informed and the place itself looks nice. The Bread with dipping sauce was good. The Green Garlic Escargot was beautifully plated (as were all of our choices) but the sauce needed a "kick" and the Focaccia Points served with it were greasy. The star of the night was the delicious She Crab Soup with Dry Sherry, containing a generous amount of crab. The Wagyu Teres Major Steak with Bordelaise Sauce was a nice serving of sliced steak. It was flavorful but could have been any cut of Prime meat - nothing that made us think we must get this again. We had the same feeling with the Lollipop Lamb Chops with Eggplant, Tomato and Soy Glaze. Both sides, the Whipped Potatoes and the Creamed Spinach, were good. The restaurant provided us with free delicious Profiteroles because we were celebrating an Anniversary, that we enjoyed with Cappuccinos. The place was fairly full by the time we finished dinner so they seem to have a following. The menu is fairly large so there a numerous things to try but I don't think we will be returning any time soon.

Absolutely incredible experience here tonight!! My partner and I went out for our 5 year anniversary and it was the best experience ever. We were new customers and we got free wagyu sliders. They were the best sliders I think I ever had. The salmon crispy rice was spicy but delicious and the wellington was so flavorful and cooked really well. Kind and attentive staff and beautiful interior. Thank you for such an awesome experience!

Such a great experience. The service was on point and every single thing we ordered was done perfectly. The steak was the standout -- hands down one of the best I've ever had. I'd go back just for that alone.

I came here for a work dinner one night. We were still waiting for our party so we stood by the bar and got drinks while we wait for the others to arrive. I got this fantastic fall highball drink. It was delicious :) We then sat down once everyone showed up. We ordered a variety of appetizers including lobster dumplings (yes amazing but would have loved more filling overall), grilled scallops on the half shelf (pretty good), lollipop lamb chops (amazing char and seasoned very well!) and green garlic escargot ( I couldn't eat it since it has pine nuts but my coworker said it needed seasoning and it was swimming in sauce). So far a good start of food overall. Our waitress was very attentive and the chef even came out personally talked to me and another coworker that has dietary restrictions. I would say service is top notch we were taken care of very well! After the appetizers it took a long time (40-45 mins) for our entrees to come out. I go the prime New York strip which came pickled radishes. For my sides I decided to go with the lobster Mac n cheese and garlic Parm brococolini. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, the fat was rendered very well. Needed a tad more seasoning but other than that this was the best steak I've had in a very long time! The sides were also very good but needed a dash of seasoning. Overall we all enjoyed our meals I think. Would love to return for other drinks and happy hour next :)

Cheesecake (untouched. This is exactly how it came to us. Haha)

First off I love the ambiance. We were there at night. It was dark and softly lit. Quiet and open, but it still felt cozy and intimate. The wine, the salad, oysters, whipped potatoes - it was all good. The 6 ounce filet mignon was a perfect cut, juicy with a lot of flavor. It was the best steak I have had here in PA since moving here 7 years ago. The only downside of the night was dessert. However I gave JC all the stars because other than this night (Valentine's Day) I rarely order dessert, so I wouldn't stop going someplace based off their dessert. I'm posting a picture because you have to see how it came to us. The strawberries not only looked gross, but were gross and the cheesecake was falling apart - this is nit picky though. It was just more surprising. I will be back! Just not for cheesecake. lol

Great date night spot. Chill. Every check I've had been $200+. Worth every penny. Cozy area. Treat yourself kings and queens

    32oz t-bone med rare

Went here w my daughters for a birthday dinner and it was nice. Service was attentive, meals were prepared to our specs and the food was great. The NY strip and the 32oz T-bone were very thick and the brussel sprouts were great and had a lot of flavor. Ambiance was very nice too. Can't complain at all based on my experience.

This was a pretty epic dinner date. Started off with a Smokey manhattan. Love the presentation of that! And a passion fruit martini for me. 2 dozen oysters in and we started getting hungrier for the meats and sides! Kids ordered the wagyu sliders which of course I had to sample. Snow crab legs were perfect for the kids who love that too. Fresh baked focaccia with a fresh roasted tomato dip In. Escargot came next and that green buttery garlic goodness was sopped up with all the toasties available. Next came a tuna steak cooked to perfection as well as the med. rare steaks. We got a couple of cuts of steak which I forget what we ordered but one was a tender wagyu that cut like butter. lobster ravioli, crab fried rice, mashed potatoes better than your moms and perfect not to crisp and not too soft asparagus. EVERYTHING was spot on. Dude came to check in regularly and didn't mind packing up the leftovers even if it was like a ravioli here a salad bite there, a steak bite a bone to gnaw on for the dogs. It was good times. And the best was the cheesecake cart to select out all the toppings and sides to swizzle around in the giant New York style fluffy cheesecake. Love love love Can't wait to return again!

The setting, as you would undoubtedly surmise, is typically hotel-esque in nature. That being said, however, the room still manages to generate a certain generic charm. And I would also hasten to add that the service - even with our various parties of 20 or more - has been excellent in every respect. But on to the food... The dinner menu isn't quite what you'd expect. Take the starters, for instance. The usual suspects - Cesare Salad, Shrimp Cocktail, French Onion Soup, Buffalo Chicken Wings, Cheesesteak Egg Rolls - as you note, are present and accounted for. However, there are also a number of innovative diversions - such as Soft Bavarian Pretzel Sticks with Delco Lager cheese sauce, Pepperoni Bolognese Flatbread spruced up with crème fraiche, ricotta, Fontina & Parmigiano cheeses, and the Ten Million Dollar Dip that features Maine lobster, sour cream, bacon, cheddar, almond, scallions, and Ritz crackers - that manage to grab your attention. Moving on, diners may choose from either the Entrées category or take a more casual route with Sandwiches & Pub Fare. The former, which lists a number of all-too-familiar ingestibles, still manages to tempt our taste buds by teaming them up with some rather intriguing sidekicks. A not-terribly-exciting Pan Roasted Chicken, for example, is prepared agrodolce, with an alluring sour-sweet demi-glace... Chilean Sea Bass is cooked up teriyaki style... Canadian Salmon is adorned with a sweet & spicy glaze and companioned by mango & yogurt... Sautéed Lamb Sirloin is enhanced with a rich & savory Madeira sauce... and a 10oz Strip Steak basks in an addictive shallot & port wine reduction. Other main course possibilities include Angus Filet au Poivre with cognac cream, Char Grilled Pork Flat Iron marinated with garlic & oregano, Lobster Fra Diavolo, Crab Stuffed Shrimp, and Broiled Scallop & Lobster Gratin. On the other hand, should you decide to take the Sandwiches & Pub Fare route, have no fear, you will certainly not be disappointed. During previous visits, I sampled the Garganelli Pasta Bolognese and the Chicken Cobb Salad. Both were excellent. The former is comprised of buttered garganelli (egg-based pasta from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy), angus beef Bolognese, olive oil, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. The latter combines mixed lettuces, hard-boiled egg, tomato, blue cheese, bacon, and avocado sprinkled with a zesty lemon vinaigrette. Most recently, my dining companion made straight for the Crab Cake Sandwich, to which she gave an enthusiastic "thumps up." I, on the other hand, couldn't resist the considerable charms of the Chicken Cutlet & Ranch BLT, a luscious combo on toasted brioche immersed in an incredibly addictive herb ranch dressing. I should add that the delicious hand-cut French fries, which accompanied both sandwiches, were a considerable drawing card as well. The dessert menu runs the gamut... from such familiar sweet endings as Crème Brûlée and Warm Chocolate Lava Cake to Mango Lime Cheesecake with raspberry sauce, Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding garnished with vanilla ice cream, and Frozen Mississippi Mud Pie. The restaurant also offers Bassetts Ice Cream & Sorbet, should you be so inclined. For my money, however, nothing quite surpasses The Desmond's Warm Bread Pudding. Bathed in a sweet vanilla sauce, this is one outrageously rich, thoroughly delightful denouement that more than lives up to its considerable reputation. Simply not to be missed.
