Once at my parents' house for a clogged bathtub (clog was found deeper underneath the house) Justin was very thorough. He searched all the plumbing connections including all the sinks in the house and even in the kitchen. He then suited up and crawled into the shallow crawl space under the house. They'd have to have a technician come look at it. The technician came. He got here on time.He was nice, but I had to shut off the water myself in the building. He took the port off and down to his truck said he didn't have the part. I asked him how much before he left to go get the part. He told me that it was going to be necessary to change out all three handles on the shower. Hot, cold and the diverter, and that it was going to cost $1,450!! I asked how much just for the diverter? And he said Ummmmm. $650!! I told him I thought the price was high, and he said, I know. I told him I might do the diverter , and he went back to go get the part in the meantime , I called to get a quote so I can know if I was getting ripped on for not. First place , I called a g g plumbing and electrical. The lady on the phone put me on the phone with a plumber who asked me what I needed done and gave me a quote over the phone of $250 for the diverter, and $375 all three knobs. That's at $400 difference just for the diverter. And a difference of $1075 for all three. Naturally, I is scheduled for A G G to come out the next day. And they called the ruder guard office and asked them to have the technician. Come back bring the part he removed and pick up his tools. I cannot believe how ridiculous of a quote. He gave me. Thats highway robbery at best. I still felt inclined to give him 30 bucks for his trouble. Even though I wasn't happy with his quote. Then he told me that those are company prices and he has no power over the quotes. I don't know how much I believe that. I hope this was helpful.
