I have been using the CSA Plumbing Team (Alex Sr., Alex Jr., etc) for probably about 10 years now and they are my first call whenever I need plumbing work. I own multiple properties ranging from single family houses to large apartment buildings, so I need plumbing work more often than not and it's great to have CSA plumbing there for me! They have done minor work for me (line jetting, line camera work, snake drains, replace fixtures) and they have also done major work for me as well (re-pipe a 4-unit apartment building, install clean-outs on the outside of houses, remodeled showers). Whenever they do the work for me, the are clean, professional, and do great work. They are usually available within 24-hours notice so any emergency work can go to them as well! Highly recommend Alex and the CSA Team! read more

I've used Alex and his crew for way over 10 years now and he's always been helpful, on time and reasonably priced. He's replaced my sewer line, all my water pipes inside, put in a tankless water heater, replaced toilets you name it he's done it! If need a reliable plumber give them a call. read more

Had CSA Plumbing come out for a minor leak and they handled it well. The technician walked me through what caused the issue and fixed it without trying to add extra charges. The work area was left clean and the whole visit felt professional. A solid local plumbing team. read more

Our townhome complex had 2 hose spigots that were leaking. One just was dripping too much. Our regular plumber was sick, so we called CSA. They came out and assessed the situation, went and got the parts, came back and replaced the parts and were finished quickly. The plumber was courteous and explained what they had done. The price was reasonable. I would highly recommend them! read more

I scheduled an appointment and got a no show. I thought maybe I missed a call but after calling the next week, found they didn't store my number. They said they tried showing up still and was no problem, just misunderstanding. It's frustrating that I made a second appointment. This time texted them on my phone with the address and a second number they could call. We got a no show again, no call, just wasted time and a broken pipe. read more

I have used Alex for about 12 years now for both repairs and full remodels. He helped us when our kitchen flooded and he replaced all the plumbing for the remodel. He has replaced both bathrooms, then last year my sewer lines to the street! Always best in quality and best in price! You cannot go wrong choosing CSA/Alex! read more

This company was assigned to me from my homeowners warranty. To be noted, this happened a year ago. When I first requested a service, it took several weeks for them to contact me. With other services, such as air conditioning, I received a call and a visit within a week, with this company it took over two weeks to make an appointment after calling them and my homeowner warranty company. When they arrived they were quite professional and offered me a quote. I was happy with their ability to answer all questions. They were also able to quickly find the problem and tell me I needed a new water heater. I did price comparisons and they were the best value, so I called them back to replace my water heater. I decided to upgrade and get a tankless heater, and I also asked to pay for an inspection. We were quoted a price, and then after the first inspection we didn't pass. We were asked to pay more to fix things that should have been fixed, and this didn't sit right with me. I spoke with an inspector and found out they aren't allowed to do that after agreeing to a quote. We didn't pass another two times, and it was a frustrating process. To add insult to injury, Alex was quite condescending and rude to me. I understood we were all frustrated about the inspection process, but I didn't appreciate being spoken to this way. I tasted my water and it didn't taste right. He tried to tell me it was the water filter that was only a couple of months old, but the tap water was also bad. I don't recall him asking me to run the water, but to fix the problem I needed to run it for several bath cycles. I'm only giving two stars because the job was completed and in the beginning of the job, my concerns were addressed and answered. However the customer service was uncalled for. read more

Alex showed up within 24 hours of contacting him (on a Saturday). He was very professional and honest. I recommend him.

I've had the pleasure of working with my plumber, Alex, for years--he handled the plumbing for two new homes I built and continues to expertly maintain and repair my older home. Great plumber, quality work, stayed late to finish the job. Recommend! Fair pricing, knows his stuff and gets the job done.

We used our home warranty company again when our disposal was worn out and they put us together with CSA plumbing again and it was another great experience. Scheduling was simple. They called ahead to ask the model of the disposal I had so they would have a replacement on hand if necessary. They called and asked if arriving early was ok and they finished the job in about 20 minutes. Thanks again CSA plumbing. read more

Alex and his team have done excellent work on large and small plumbing jobs for my home in La Crescenta. Some of the jobs he has done for me include replacing 3 old toilets with low water usage toilets, removing old water heaters and installing high efficiency tankless water heaters, running underground long distance water lines to my new garden, installing a sink and water lines in my garage, examining and redoing a whole house water filter and softener system, that had been incorrectly installed by a well known water filter company, and installing an under sink kitchen water filter system. All of this work was done with excellent communication as to status, issues found, alternatives and creative solutions. Alex knows what plumbing equipment is best to install for long life and to save money on gas and water bills from his experience. When I asked a couple of my close friends at work who they would recommend to do the above work they said use Alex at CSA Plumbing. Alex and his team are excellent and the cost was reasonable. My friends were right - I can now highly recommend Alex and his team for large and small plumbing jobs! James H. read more

CSA Plumbing and Rooter were contracted by our home warranty to replace our malfunctioning hot water heater in November of 2022. They were responsive, efficient and did excellent work replacing the unit and bringing it up to code at a very fair price. I would highly recommend their services. read more

They were contracted through my insurance. I was issued a work # and left a message on their phone (NO ONE ANSWERED). They never called back. I called 3 other times with no answer. They finally called 48 hrs later. The lady said she didn't think a garbage disposal was an emergency. I told her that it was not her decision to make. I canceled the work order and had a handyman fix the problem. read more

CSA has been my go to for the past 5 years, they deliver high quality plumbing work. They have assisted all my plumbing related needs; from simply installing my new tub to fixing minor leaks. We hired CSA PLUMBING in Sept., 2013, to replumb our house with copper pipes. They're the best!!! Alex, the owner, was on time, surveyed our property with my husband, took his time, no rushing, communicated with us very well, gave us an accurate written estimate, that states CONTRACT, WITH HIS LICENSE #. PRICES ARE VERY reasonable. Project start date was determined, the crew was here o n time and ready to go. NO problems, very efficient. BEST PART? Their clean-up. WOW!!! Never have seen anything like it!! Awesome. Thank you Alex and your crew, great job!!! Update: Ended up not so great. A plumbing leak under the kitchen caused A BIG problem and filed a claim with our Insurance co. Plumber crew did not sauder underneath pipes. Our entire kitchen was gutted and redone! Omig. Never calling them ever again. read more

The only reason I give 5 star to CSA (specially to Alex) is no other plumber ever told me, no matter they knew or not, that my garbage disposer and air gab hoses were not properly set up, instead they just clean the hose which was obviously just a temporary solution and that's why the same problems keep happening every almost 3 months. Alex fixed it and re-set them up properly and it works just fine now. read more

Alex Torres Fixed our heater and our sink in the bathroom. Fast and very reasonable in price. And as an added bonus, everything was cleaned up. Now we know who to call next time :o) read more

Alex has been our go to plumber for the past decade, and whenever anyone needs a plumber for any size job he is the first tradesman I recommend. Alex has installed a full new bath including all the new lines, fixed corroded pipes elsewhere in our home, installed a pump to fix an old slow drain issue, replaced and repaired water heaters, garbage disposals, you name it -- if it holds water he has dealt with it over the years. Additionally he goes above and beyond so when there are emergency situations he makes it a priority. I really can not say enough about how much we rely upon his skills and knowledge. Great kind person, and fair to a fault with pricing, he and his crew people are excellent people to have in your corner. read more

What I experienced was a lack of professionalism and terrible customer service skills. This plumber had to come out twice to fix a shower and bathtub leak. CSA Plumbing was assigned to a work order made through First American Home Warranty Company. I had to call the plumber back a second time, because my shower started to leak again. And, the tub repair had not been sealed properly. There was a cotton pad like material left around the edge of the spout it was not sealed up against the wall. During the second visit, Alex fixed the bathtub and shower; he trimmed the material out of the bathtub spout and sealed it properly. He re-sealed the shower head and loosened the knobs, because it was difficult to open and close the water. When I asked him where the shower leak was coming from he said that the shower was not leaking. I explained to him that it had a slow leak and perhaps he did not see it before he shut off the main waterline. He spoke to me in a demeaning manner and told me I was not listening to him. He kept repeating himself about how it was not leaking and that the shower head was leaking. What? Didn't he say it wasn't leaking? I did not appreciate the manner in which he was talking to me and how he dismissed what I was saying about the slow leak. Alex told me he would replace the shower head, and he did not change it. Before he left, I asked him why he didn't change it. He said that it was because I had mentioned yelp to him. By the way, I post reviews on Yelp, good or bad and this is not how a reputable business is run. I got the impression that not much care was given to the plumbing repairs because it was covered through the warranty. read more

CSA the was the assigned plumbing company from First American Home Warranty. CSA was the 5th company assigned to my claim for a simple valve replacement for two showers. The plumber that was sent out was very nice, but not capable of fixing basically anything. He told me that one of the shower heads was not leaking, (which it has been for 4 years) and that the other shower faucets needed a new shower valve. CSA reported the condition of the faucets to FAHW, but refused to come back to fix the problem. When I called CSA to find out why they would not come back to make the repairs, I was told by the owner that they did not contract with CSA to make those types of repairs. Fed up with FAHW, CSA and the rest of the incompetent plumbers FAHW had contracts with, I called my own plumbing company Kerry Gold plumbing, a reputable, well thought of plumbing company in the San Fernando Valley. They came out, examined the issues, and fixed all of the plumbing problems in less than 1 1/2 hours. The shower valve that CSA claimed was cracked, was not cracked, and just needed new valves. The shower valves in the master bathroom that CSA took apart and said were fine, continued to leak worse after CSA put the valves back together. I had to go to Home Depot and buy a cap for the shower head to stop the leaking, until Kerry Gold fixed the valve issue. A horrible experience. Do not use FAHW for plumbing issues. Call Kerry Gold, pay a little more, and get a competent plumber. The night mare is finally over. read more

I think its hard to imagine loving your plumber until you realize how necessary they are. Especially as a homeowner. I have called MANY plumbers over the years and none have ever made any kind of impression on me except that they charged too much for too little work, or worse yet did shoddy work. But not Alex and not CSA. I was introduced to Alex and his team a few years ago when my outdoor drain desperately needed cleaning. It was blocked. I had a prior quote that was twice what Alex quoted me - the former telling me there was only one way it would get done and that was the expensive way. But Alex and his guys showed up, came up with an alt and affordable solution. Flash forward two years and my hot water heater is on the blitz. Alex and his guys get me up and running in a timely, and again, affordable manner. On the heels of this I had my kitchen remodeled and we had to move water and gas lines. My contractor didn't have a plumber lined up so I suggested he try Alex and CSA. They came in and did the job seamlessly. Lastly, and most importantly when my renovation was complete - 3 months later - all I wanted to do was move into my kitchen and use it. I called Alex and CSA to come and hook up my appliances. Alex said they don't normally do that but he would do it for me AND he gave me a deal for the work.. I called around so I know he hooked it up! My construction guys had not moved my appliances back into the kitchen and left it for Alex and his guys, only thing is; only Alex came. So with no help - and not part of his job - he helped me move the appliances back in and set them all up for the pre-negotiated rate. This is plumber love. I actually sleep better at night knowing I have a plumber to call in need. Quality guys are not that easy to come by. CSA is a blessing. read more
