As if moving into a new home isn't overwhelming and exhausting enough, but then we came to find out that (1) our water heater was shut off by The Gas Company for insufficient combustion air and a busted thermocouple; (2) leaking shower; and (3) disconnected range due to an outdated gas valve. I had a swift line leak that resisted patching on an old galvanized pipe. I had one plumber come who couldn't fix it - then he left on vacation! Then I got on Yelp and chose Raphael based on reviews and his close location to me. He emailed back in a couple hours, stopped by on his way home around 7:30 at night, spent a couple of hours working hard to patch it - since running new line couldn't be done until Friday and it was Monday and we had been without running water since Saturday. He was trying to get us water. It worked well enough for us to turn it on, use the shower and toilets, then turn it off. Raphael came back the next day, fixed everything for a fair price and did it with skill, manners, and speed. What more could you ask for? He was at my front door at 8:58. He knew how to fixed the problem immediately. It took a little bit of time, but only because he did not have the parts needed to complete the job.
