Fried tilapia, soft scrambled eggs, white toast, grits and two sides: home fries and hot beef sausage.
Aisha C.

The only issue was the packing so I'm happy I asked for the grits on the side or it might have spilled. Fish was wonderfully fried, grits nicely done, and the quantity of the sides weren't bad. The home fries plentiful though the sausage was alright for the price. Over all worth the money and worth the try if you are in the mood for fried fish for a inexpensive price.

There wasn't much heat in the place and it looks a bit run down inside . But the food and price was really good

Definitely a decent southern breakfast. Cooked a little heavy with oil but it's not like I eat here every day. Great cheat meal.

Sure there are some great deli's, diners and cafe spots but at No Rush Cafe, you never feel like your present is detracting from business. There's been times where I get me a sandwich and a coffee, crack open my laptop to do some emails and video editing, and all of a sudden when I look at my watch, 2 hours has passed. Their booths are incredibly comfortable and even have inspired me to create some breakfast nook booth seating at home.

That said, I requested 1/2 sugar in my decaf iced brown sugar shaken espresso. I am avoiding caffeine. It was still too sweet for my taste. We also got a regular coffee which was okay. The iced lavender matcha latte was probably the best. Still a little too sweet. Last was an iced matcha latte; overpowered by sugar. If you want to taste your matcha or coffee, definitely request less sugar, much less. I didn't eat the pastries but my family said the chocolate croissant was flaky with good quality chocolate. We had it warmed up; definitely recommend that. The service was very friendly and helpful. Inside it's dark with cool paintings on the walls. They have several sitting areas with all types of couches and chairs. Outside it smelled like weed; inside it did not. Well, there you go!

We chose to sit at the bar, where our bartender, Michaela, was friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. She recommended the jerk chicken quesadilla and the blackened fish tacos, and both turned out to be excellent choices. Before ordering, we enjoyed their award-winning margaritas, which certainly lived up to the hype. Following Michaela's recommendations proved to be the right decision, as every dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. As we finished our meal, we found ourselves unable to decide whether The Bungalow was "really very good" or "very really good." Either way, everything we tried was delicious. We look forward to returning soon to explore more of the menu. This is definitely a place worth visiting if you're looking for great food, creative flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Unfortunately, this review is not good at all due to the lack of class, judgment, and inadequacy of this establishment. We came here on a date night because we heard nothing but great reviews on this place. We were seated by a very unpleasant hostess who made it known she did not want to be there at all. We waited for a while for a server to come up to us to get our drink order, but that never happened. I was reluctant to leave at first, but then noticed that there was another table across from us a family of four with two kids who were having the same problem too. They waited patiently as we were, but no one was around to serve us because they were all standing at the bar being loud and goofing around. At that point I had enough and we walked out. I have now read the most recent reviews on this establishment after I left and I should have done that before we came here. A lot of unpleasant reviews have been posted for the past six months about this place. So apparently there's a reason why I had the experience I did as everyone else did recently. It's a shame because the Old reviews prior to the past couple of months were phenomenal. Oh wait you guys must be permanently closed by now as one of the other posts said. Now you should understand why. It is what it is, Right?

She's always great, checks on us throughout the meal, and this time she even brought my mom a free dessert for her birthday, which was really nice because we didn't even ask for it. The food was good, as usual. My mom loves the amount of chicken parm she gets, so that's always a big reason why we end up here. I got the steak burrito this time, and I may have misunderstood the menu because I thought it was going to be more like a burrito bowl. They were totally fine with changing it for me though, so no complaints there. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with The Pantry. We'll definitely be back, just hopefully not too soon because we've been here mad times lately! I think we're going to let my mom pick somewhere different next time.

Before we could even make it inside, there were people literally arguing in the parking lot! That's how chaotic it was. Now, the restaurant does have parking, but instead of dealing with that madness, we decided to park in a nearby parking area that serves the surrounding establishments and what I believe is the train station. Since it was Sunday, parking was free, so that worked out perfectly for us! Once we made our way inside, it was just as busy as expected. Our waiter was fairly new, and you could tell he was still trying to get the hang of things. He seemed a little confused at times, but you know what? He still got the job done, and I have absolutely no complaints about that. Everyone has to start somewhere! I ordered a traditional breakfast consisting of eggs, corned beef hash, and home fries. My friend decided to go with a gyro and fries. The food was okay. Nothing spectacular, nothing terrible. Just your typical diner food. Everything was decent, and neither of us had any complaints about our meals. But was it something that made me say, "Oh my goodness, I have to come back for this!"? Not necessarily. As far as the atmosphere goes, it's your standard diner setting. Nothing particularly unique or memorable about the decor or overall ambiance. However, I will give them credit for one thing: the restaurant was very clean inside, and that's always something I appreciate, especially considering how busy they were! Service was okay, food was okay, and the atmosphere was exactly what you'd expect from a traditional diner. The Pantry overall was a decent experience. Nothing that completely wowed me, but nothing that would make me tell someone to stay away either. If you're in the area and looking for a simple diner meal, it gets the job done. Would I go back? Sure, if I happened to be in the area and wanted something to eat. But would I go out of my way to return? Probably not. Sometimes a restaurant experience is just that: okay. And that's perfectly fine!

They remember customers by name and genuinely make you feel like family. The menu is extensive, but what stood out most was the quality. The Friday shrimp bisque was creamy and loaded with baby shrimp. The chicken and waffle sliders were excellent, and the waffles were so soft and fresh that I honestly didn't even need the maple syrup. The Rise n' Shine Quesadilla was such a great modern breakfast option, packed with eggs, bacon, avocado, black beans, pico de gallo and plenty of cheese. The grilled steak panini was another standout -- the steak was cooked perfectly and was much better than what I'd normally expect from a diner panini. Of course, being at a diner, I had to try something Greek. The gyro wrap was excellent, with thinly sliced, tender and flavorful gyro meat. The biggest surprise for me was the Barolo Braised Short Ribs over whipped potatoes. The portion was huge, the short rib was fork-tender, and the quality honestly felt more like something you'd expect from a full-service restaurant. This was diner food elevated. They also make their desserts in-house downstairs. I tried the individual apple pie and strawberry cheesecake, and I loved that each one was its own little pie instead of just a slice. Both were adorable and delicious. Imperial Diner also has a full bar, curbside pickup and an outdoor patio when the weather is nice. You really don't have to be a "diner person" to enjoy this place. Between the food quality, huge variety and genuinely kind family behind it, Imperial Diner absolutely deserves to be in the conversation with the better diners on Long Island. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I tried and will definitely be back.

We have always enjoyed the restaurant, and I want to make it very clear that this review is NOT a reflection of the establishment or management. Unfortunately, our experience with our server, Alyson A., was extremely disappointing. From our very first interaction, Alyson was not warm, welcoming, or personable. We noticed it immediately but tried to give her grace and enjoy our evening. It was my husband's birthday, and I discreetly let Alyson know because I wanted to surprise him without him knowing. When the time came, she brought over a candle in a cup of ice, placed it on the table, and walked away. No "Happy Birthday," no acknowledgment whatsoever. It was incredibly awkward and disappointing, especially considering I had specifically gone out of my way to quietly let her know we were celebrating. What really sent me over the top was how our check was handled. I placed my debit card inside the check folder. Alyson came over with the machine, processed the payment, and walked away. She never handed my card back to me. When I noticed it was missing, I told her, "My card is in the book. I didn't get it back." She opened the folder and said it wasn't there, then pointed to a spot on the table and said, "It's right here." I asked, "How did it get there?" and she replied, "I put it there." I was stunned. Why would you place a customer's debit card somewhere on the table without handing it directly back to them or even telling them where you put it? Had I not noticed my card was missing and asked, I would not have known she had left it there. Throughout the entire experience, there was no "thank you," no "have a good night," no acknowledgment of my husband's birthday, and no sense of basic hospitality. Her demeanor made us feel as though serving our table was an inconvenience. We did notify management, and I want to give them the recognition they deserve. They were nothing short of amazing, as they always have been. They listened to our concerns, were professional, and handled the situation with genuine care. That is the Salt on the Water we know and why my family continues to return year after year. It was simply disheartening to have this kind of service at an establishment we think so highly of. One server will not change our opinion of Salt on the Water, but our experience with Alyson A. was unacceptable and absolutely not representative of the level of hospitality we have come to expect here.
