Thanks to the new hours, with a later closing time, I was FINALLY able to visit Red Bicycle for the first time tonight. My sister and I decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed. From being greeted with a smile, to friendly conversation with the owner, to our AMAZING food and coffee, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I did make it to Red Bicycle a little earlier than my sister, so I was able to browse the menu and enjoy a relaxing swing, yes I said swing, while I was waiting. I'm sitting there unwinding from work, feet dangling like a child, when the owner, Jason Day, comes to sit at a table close to me and we began to chat. Not only was he very kind, but he was very down to earth! We talked about business, how he came into the Reb Bicycle world, and he even made menu suggestions from crepes I may enjoy, as I've only experienced chain restaurant crepes, to the MANmosa...which I will be back for! As a Harry Potter fan, if any place has a Butterbeer flavored ANYTHING, I am intrigued. So of course I decided to try the Butterbeer latte. So smooth, perfect temperature, and the flavor had the perfect touch of caramel. I highly recommend! My sister and I are fairly indecisive when it comes to trying new places so we decided to get two dishes to split. We ordered the Savory Crepe in Chicken Bacon Ranch. BEST decision we could've made because it was completely stuffed full of juicy smoked pulled chicken, crispy bacon, and very melty mozzarella cheese then topped with a creamy ranch drizzle. With our first bites, we just looked at each other, completely amazed at how much flavor could be packed into this dish. We also ordered the RB Chicken Tacos. When I tell you these tacos were thick...my goodness. They were not lacking in meat, toppings, or flavor! With a hefty helping of smoked pulled chicken, diced tomatoes, and cheddar jack cheese, these tacos are definitely a hit! The side of salsa adds the perfect little kick of flavor and spice, sure to make this a favorite! Luckily, the order only came with two tacos because, one, we were so full from the crepe already, and two, if there was a third taco...I love my sister...but it very easily could've come to blows over that last one. My niece decided on the French toast and, luckily, I was able to talk her into giving me a bite. The sweet maple syrup, powdered sugar, and perfect crisp on the outside and soft center is going to make it hard to stray elsewhere on the breakfast menu during future visits. The best part, for me, is that everything is made to order and brought to the table as SOON as it's ready. You may not all get your food at the same time, but it's served fresh and hot, as compared to sitting under a heat lamp. I highly recommend Red Bicycle here in Murfreesboro. While I'm sure the service is just as great during the busier times, I do suggest paying a visit during the down times and striking up a conversation with the owner, Jason. His friendliness makes the environment even more inviting! I can't wait to go back soon! read more

Went to the St Andrews location for my first time after seeing their posts about being on Americas Best Restaurants. It was also my last Time. The staff was hard working and friendly. However while waiting on food noticed how dirty everything was around us (long term type of dirt not just that they were too busy to clean a tabletop) We wondered if the kitchen was clean so changed our order to go. I posted on their Facebook page praising the good but shared my concern about the cleanliness. They deleted it them blocked me from their page. A good restaurant that cares about their customers would have messaged me about it or posted a rebuttal or explanation. I have never experienced that toe of treatment from a business. They obviously are skewing their reviews. read more

Seriously, this is such a gem of a place. We're in town for only a few days (we've never been to Murfreesboro), visiting with our Great Dane Piper. I needed a dog friendly place, and one that had covered seating since it's so hot out. Well, at Red Bicycle, my dog was welcome INSIDE. For that alone it's 5 stars from me BUT, the food was outstanding (I had the Breakfast Burrito and my husband had the "Not Your Mother's Grilled Cheese), their coffee was amazing (I had the cappuccino, he had the Cafe Cubano), the service was fantastic, the place was adorable and I'm just not sure 5 stars is enough! Went with the hubs to grab an early morning breakfast. Everything was pretty good. We got French toast, cinnamon crepe, and two scrambles. Everything was well made and tasted pretty darn good. The iced coffees were tasty and addictive. Nice place to stop and get a delicious meal. Super friendly staff and very informative. Good way to support your local community. Before I visited the Red Bicycle, I was so anxious to try this awesome place I had heard from my friends in Nashville. I wanted to like this place so bad that I dragged my friends with me here. Upon arrival, the place was kind of small and it felt like I could hear conversations right next to me. Two of us ordered first then two other within 3-4 minutes apart (at the counter). When we sat down at the table, there was juice and residue from the previous people still on the table. I even asked the guy at the front for a towel to clean it myself but he asked the staff to clean. They never came to the table to clean it off. Eventually I caught the table next to ours being cleaned and I asked again for our table to be wiped. After about 40 minutes, I get my plate which was the Funky Monkey. I sit there for a good 8 minutes until my friends received theirs one by one each a few minutes apart. Literally all of our food was served one by one while each of us had to sit there and wait for our food to get cold. They even forgot to put chorizo in one of their menu items and had to redo the whole thing. I never received any silverware either until we prompted them. I attempted to speak to the guy up front about the situation and he was very nonchalant about it. He asked his wait staff to check on the order, they said they're "working on it." He then said that their items are scratch made and each one is individually made so next time let them know that we want all our food at the same time, all while sitting on the stool just casually on his phone. Their lack of customer service is the reason while I'll never ever be back here again. Unfortunately, places like this do not last long in Murfreesboro where we value both quality of food and quality of customer service. As far as the food goes, I ordered a chai tea latte which was lukewarm, lacked the basic chai flavor and also a Funky Monkey crepe which was beautiful but greash. My fiancé ordered the Sunrise crepe. This was all for $30 plus a tip! Why is there an option to tip when you have to basically do everything yourself (pick up dirty plates to the trash). read more

Sunday morning visit. it was packed. we were a party of six. they had two six tops that both had two people sitting at and weren't even eating. I asked one of the workers if would see if either would mind moving as there were two tops and four tops open. she wouldn't. instead she said we could fit around a four top. thought it was fairly ridiculous, a four top is not big enough. I only leave good reviews. This one is in the middle. There's room for growth. Food was good, coffee was great. The place itself seams a bit dirty, which was a little unappetizing but probably wouldn't bother most. Not so bad that I wouldn't be back but I do hope for better. Stopped in for the first time for lunch with friends and we enjoyed it! Bright, clean interior with friendly staff. AND the food was delicious. I had a hot chicken crepe that was wonderful! Terrible. I am mystified by the positive reviews. The menu looked great. I was really happy to see a mix of vegetarian (for me) and meat options (for my boyfriend). I did a lot of research trying to find a good spot on our travel between McMinnville and Nashville for lunch/brunch. This looked perfect. When I got there, I was initially struck by the look of the place. It's in a strip mall type location. Fine. More odd: The doors and windows are mirrored. It's not possible to see the activity from the outside looking in. If not for the group of four seated at one of the two red dining tables on the sidewalk, I would have guessed this wasn't a cafe at all. I looked at the sign above the mirrored doors, and found I got the location right: "Red Bicycle..." followed by: "Order online". I wondered for a moment: is this place a new business model where you only order online for pick-up or delivery? That would explain the uninviting look of the place from outside. We pursued our objective, nonetheless. Someone exited the building, and we entered. The interior was surprising: large and inviting. Open and bright. Plenty of tables. And absolutely freezing cold. The a/c was on strong. We looked over the menu. I initially was going to go for the grilled cheese and fries, but opted for the much healthier : avocado toast on NY Sour Dough with tomatoes, spinach, feta, and a drizzle of balsamic and honey. Sounded delicious! I also got some fancy English Breakfast tea (wrapped in a cloth bag, rather than the more typical tea bags.) Boyfriend ordered coffee and a burrito of some sort. We ordered at the counter, and headed for the one free table outdoors to escape the cold. I grabbed a chair from inside (server was oddly initially hesitant to allow me to do this; there were tens of available chairs indoors), and parked it at the table. The two tables out there were very close together. I apologized to our new neighbors for the intrusion. They were friendly and said: "we're out here because it's so cold in there!" I nodded in agreement. Our food was delivered to us not too long after we sat down. I immediately reacted to the sight in front of me: "this looks terrible!" I regretted being so immediate and vocal with my reaction, for fear that the server heard me, but then again: she should probably know the truth; if she doesn't already from her own experience. The first thing to stand out to me: there was hardly any avocado. Instead of being a healthy serving of beautiful mashed avocado, it was more of a schmear. Very odd. The feta was piled on. The tomatoes were very red, but flat and flavorless. The spinach was chopped finely and didn't taste good. Maybe it was wilted? The bread tasted like plain old super market processed bread; perhaps a bit thicker than a standard slice. I found the whole thing inedible. I struggled with a few bites, then abandoned it. My boyfriend's repeated reaction to his coffee was uncharacteristic for this omni-vore, who eats anything and everything with glee: "ugh." With each sip: "iew". For him the coffee was the worst part, the burrito was just bland. In the end, I regretted not going for the grilled cheese and fries. That probably would have been fine. Best guess is that it would have been cheap diner-like quality, but that would have worked for me. This all makes me very curious about the quality of the reviews on this site. So many users have had the opposite experience than I had. I don't believe my experience was due to an off-day. I think this place markets itself as a quality cafe with fresh ingredients, but in fact likely functions more like a franchise. Our food came out so fast, there was no way it was made to order. Red Bicycle is my go to coffee/breakfast place. The coffee is amazing and I love that they have almond and oat milk. The food is SO good! I'm gluten free and they have many options including gluten free crepes (get the chicken bacon ranch crepe and thank me later). The people are super nice and the vibe is really fun which is a huge plus. Highly recommend! read more

That being said : I got the breakfast tacos and thought I was getting chicken( it was some kind of weird looking , sausage tasting meat ) -and scant amount of meat in it for how expensive it is . It was warm-not hot -and mostly eggs. My daughter got the egg / bacon/ cheese bagel . She liked it . I got iced almond joy coffee . It was touted to be 14 ounces . Mine was 75% ice ( yes I know ) iced coffee ( ice is expected ) My daughter also got the 14 ounce honey lavender . She liked it . Just four items - but breakfast was over 30$! ( plus tip - I always tip well - not their fault the prices are too high for what you actually get ) It's just not alot of food / items or value for that amount . I'll still give it another shot . So far we've loved almost everything we've ordered here. It's nice to have a restaurant that serves breakfast all day so we don't have to rush out on a lazy Saturday if we want some French toast! Good variety on the menu and portion sizes have been pretty equal to the price. The seasonal drinks are also pretty tasty so I'll be sad to see them go. Only negative I'll add at the bottom is the sausage in the breakfast burrito and chicken in the tacos from our most recent visit this week. We ended up just throwing them away because they seemed questionable on being real meat. I'm hoping it's just a supply chain issue but for now we'll stick to non-meat items here to play it safe. 4 out of 5 times we've enjoyed our food. read more

The decor was very interesting, a red bicycle on the wall and a old fashioned swing hanging from the ceiling. I ordered French toast, surely you can't mess that up. Having been to both Nashville locations my wife and I are thrilled that they've opened up a cafe right down the street from our house. The menu is amazing with several seasonal specials (my wife got the Peppermint Hot Chocolate aka "Christmas in a Cup" to go with our breakfast). The service is also above and beyond your normal chain coffee stop...My wife and I were running late for a doctors appointment and the staff put a rush on our order (they were having a very busy morning) packed up our food for us and had us on our way quickly. Can't give this place and their staff enough praise today, we will be back continuously. So glad to have you all in the Boro. read more

I had really high hopes for the new Red Bicycle as I love the one in Nashville. But it was just okay. I would go again if I lived in a nearby neighborhood, but it wasn't worth driving 25 minutes to me. Coffee was absolutely delicious. The WiFi didn't work, it took about 30 minutes to get food and it wasn't really busy. The cheddar potato bites were cold and my wake-up crepe was better after hot sauce and more seasoning. The Veg-Out Scramble was delicious!!! Added a little salsa and sour cream to it. It's still new and I will be back to give it another go. read more

The atmosphere is fresh and bright. The coffee menu is extensive and so many of the drinks sound wonderful! Unfortunately, they don't taste as good as they sound. I ordered the ButterBear latte. It needed way more caramel and I couldn't even taste the white chocolate. Its an ok latte, but it wasn't worth the price. The spicy chorizo egg scramble was very short on spice and chorizo. It needed seasoning, like some onion powder or just salt and pepper. I thought there was too much hash browns, but my son liked it. I might go back and give them another try, but there are so many other restaurants in the area, that it'll be awhile before I get around to it. read more

Food was good, but maybe don't Doordash/Uber-eats it. I got mine via Uber-eats for lunch and what I got out of my order was good. I ordered a hot chicken salad + avocados, fruit cup, and an iced coffee. They forgot my avocado and someone completely scribbled out the coffee on my receipt, and I never got it... No worries, Uber-eats is refunding the missing parts, but I'm not sure if the store doesn't do deliveries on coffee?? Food was decent, liked the spinach base, lots of pickles and chicken if you're into it. I'm sure the coffee would have been good if I had gotten it haha Probably won't get it delivered again, but might do pickup in the future. read more

They will send you a text and email when your food is ready. Once you arrive to get your food, be prepared to wait another 10-15 minutes for your coffee. My food got cold waiting on my drinks. Keep in mind these were iced coffees. Even if they were hot coffees I had ordered, I can alway microwave them. Microwaved food is nasty!!!!
