I was in the area and decided to try this spot. Immediately upon walking in, we were seated with no wait. It was a Friday evening but there was plenty of seating available. We sat down and gave our order of edamame and sweet potato rolls to start. The wait for this was about 15-20 minutes. We then placed our main dish order. We ordered the chicken teriyaki and a small order of chicken fried rice. This took a while to come and they never brought out the chicken fried rice. When the bill came, I noticed the chicken fried rice was not on there, so obviously she never wrote that down. The quality of the food was sub par. The edamame was okay. The sweet potato rolls were probably the worst I've ever had. They were definitely crispy, however there was BARELY any sweet potato in there. It might as well have been all rice. Went after lunch during the week with my family, place has a nice ambiance. They offer both Japanese and Korean food with in table BBQ grilling. I must say we usually go to Fort Lee and Korea town in NYC so our standards are pretty high. The sashimi and sushi boat for two was good and expensive. The spicy pork bulgogi was the same as some Korean restaurants we've been too. The marinated short rib could use more flavor, I only say this because we've had the most succulent, tasty, and tender marinated short rib in Fort Lee and always go there for that dish. The banchans (side dishes) are not as much as you would get in the city or in Jersey. Take note: their dipping sauce is a citrus soy sauce, no the typical sesame oil and salt. Do be careful with your knees if you sit at the BBQ table, since the short table has a big base underneath and you will bang your knees on them. The service was good as the server does cook your food at the table like those in the city. Overall, if you want a good Korean BBQ in the New Windsor area, be sure to check this place out. read more

Finally, something new to the area that didn't disappoint. The ambiance is very inviting. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful. It was my husband's first time trying Korean BBQ and my daughter's first time trying sushi. My daughter LOVED her California roll and her shrimp tempura rolls. RACIST. Will not be patronizing this establishment again as they are clearly prejudiced. NEVER have I ever had been chased down by TWO separate employees from an establishment, trying to FIND an error in our payment when there wasn't one. Dined there for lunch with my sister and mother. We ordered some food to go for my father & niece. We ate our food, paid with card, signed the bill, tipped in cash and left. An employee chased after us saying "you signed the merchant copy"...yes you read that correctly. We said "yes you're the merchant, we're the customer what's wrong?" She looked at us puzzled & said "oh there must've been a mistake." Fine. We went to True Value next door, walked to our car and this time APRIL came chasing after us asking if we intended to tip. To which we replied that we paid him in cash & asked if she asked the server if we tipped him?? She responded "oh no he's cooking in the kitchen". WHAT?! The server went from waiting a near-empty restaurant to cooking in the kitchen in a matter of less than 5 minutes? Is there an invisible shield preventing you from going into the kitchen to ask? If we didn't plan on tipping were you going to force us to?! We were suspicious after our first time dining there when they added gratuity to our party of 2...but this time confirmed it. They did not trust the black people in the restaurant to pay their bill or to tip the server & they were will willing to chase us outside twice to confirm their racial bias. Shameful. read more

The place is gorgeous, modern, and welcoming but the staff really goes out of their way to make you feel comfort and answer any questions you may have. The menu is limited because of a soft opening but what they do have is amazing! The teriyaki steak was so buttery soft and perfectly cooked. The veggies were crisp and flavorful. My husband has the pork belly Korean dish and could not get enough of all the little dishes that came with it. He was thoroughly impressed. We also did an order of chicken fried rice as takeout for our son and he said it was some of the best he's had locally. If it doesn't say avocado on classic roll menu you have to ask for it( ex: eel roll ). I thought eel avocado, tuna avocado etc. was normal typical roll. I guess not here.
