Thank you Yelp :) After visiting Woodbury Commons outlets, we were craving sushi, and Yune's Sushi was one of the top choices. Restaurant is large with nice ambiance. We started with vegetable Gyosa appetizer, and it was very good - dumplings were crunchy but not oily. I got sashimi combo, which was superb. I never had white tuna before, and this was one of the very best sashimi bites I ever had. We also shared Red Dynamite roll which was absolutely outstanding. Very good service, prompt, attentive, friendly. Highly recommended. read more

Ambience was nice. Food was mediocre. Service was good. Nothing special about their rolls. Rolls were on the small side. Negamaki was tasty but small order read more

I absolutely love Yune's I think they have high quality sushi. There is days like these where it doesn't make sense . I stopped in there for lunch today. I ordered a Avocado roll and a chicken tempera roll , but both of the rolls was on separate plates when it could had just been on one plate. I also had to ask for regular chopsticks since I didn't have any , no napkin and no plate for the sauce. The service was a bit slow too and there was no one there. Overall I love their sushi . read more

I believe my wife and I tried to dine here a few years but it was crowded with a wait, which is a good sign. This time we were able to be seated right away. Walking in I immediately felt overdressed and turned my hat to the front lol. It was a white table cloth establishment which I thought was very classy. The staff were very friendly and the owner was nice as well. The food was really good and we can't wait to go back. She owes us a free dessert lol Great spot! Check it out!!! read more

Came here on a Saturday night with a friend, who suggested this spot. Once we entered we were greeted by a wait staff and seated to our seats. The place has a nice vibe to it, not loud and clean. Ended up getting the chicken teriyaki which was solid. It came with miso soup as well. Overall it was a nice dine in experience. I would come back if I'm in the area. * parking lot on premise * good service read more

Eclectic mix of Japanese and Korean cuisine. Friendly service. The place is pretty too. Have been here numerous times.

A very classy sushi place for sure, nice to seat in a upscale sushi house and very clean as well. The service was great too, the waiter I had, only came when to take plates and was very polite, not pushy to order or to see if you enjoyed the food. Nice to see a waiter that does not brown nose for tips. So as for the food, the spicy crab salad, plenty of crab meat and very thinly sliced cucumbers, appreciate it being light and not chunky, but do wish it was more spicy, would elevated it more. The yune's roll, had no shortage of fresh fresh and each bite was mouthful, definitely a full meal to itself. Honestly the roll was best out everything. Will have come back and try the special rolls read more

I recently hosted the rehearsal dinner for my wedding at Yune's and it couldn't have been a better experience. The chef Kyu and their coordinator Polly both worked personally with me to create a custom buffet for our thirty person party. They were so accommodating and communicative. At the event itself, the service couldn't have been better and the food was incredible. Our guests commented on what an ideal venue it was for the warm and celebratory atmosphere we wanted. If you're considering them for your next event or catering opportunity, go for it! read more

Being gluten free, I really enjoy their sashimi plates with GF soy sauce. Great tasting and substantial portions! Great people!

Best sushi in the 845!!! Great service and even better quality in fish. Highly recommend

Food was good. We especially enjoyed the seafood soup, crab salad and seaweed salad. Sashimi was nice and fresh. Sushi was fair. However, the teriyaki shrimp was a bit undercooked and the sauce was too heavy. Service was slow and server was a bit rude. We had to ask for water and ginger multiple times. read more

One of the best Sushi places in the area. thanks to the Chefstaff. But the Service is amazing thanks to the our favorite waitress Polly. Polly is always attentive and gives the best suggestions or modifies our favorite Sushi Rolls to even more Amazing for us. Again thanks Polly for being amazing..!! read more

Ever since I started coming to this sushi place 7 years ago, the quality of the food has really gone down. I remember them having the best ginger dressing for their salads. Now the salads are giant chunks of watery ice berg lettuce with mediocre store-bought-style dressing. The eel is delicious but the Fluke is not. The soups are delicious but the salads are not. It's really hit or miss here. The wine is pretty bad too and THAT is not fun. All in all - there are better Sushi spots in the area. read more

Originally from NY and was in the area for Woodbury Outlet shopping. I was craving for sushi and found this spot. With my prior experience with sushi in California and omakase, I find this place quality pleasant surprising. Their tuna was pretty good to a point that it was buttery! Their basic spicy tuna roll was quite solid! Definitely try it if you are in the area :) read more

Came here with a couple of friends on a Saturday night! It wasn't too crowded and we were seated right away. My boyfriend and I decided to split the bibimbap and get two vegetarian rolls (the oshinko and fashionista!). The waitress was very accommodating in adjusting the bibimbap to our liking, as well as recommending a tofu substitute instead of the meat options. Service was quick! Food came ten minutes later! The bibimbap was very good, the rice didn't crunch up how I normally like it to, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it! Both rolls were phenomenal and so flavorful. I highly recommending trying this place out. I know I will certainly be back! read more

I'm sorry to any other sushi spot that Ive ever said was the best ever. Honestly this was an outstanding experience. The sashimi is the freshest I've ever had in my life to date. The atmosphere is beautiful, warm and inviting. The bathrooms are absolutely Gorgeous. Everything was clean. There was nice relaxing music. Tons of hot and cold sake options!! The prices seemed average but for the above quality food, this is excellent! This restaurant is very classy to say the least. In terms of what we ate, we had appetizer sashimi and some sort of Japanese garlic chicken wings. Can we talk about the absolute high quality of the sashimi on a Saturday night? It was melt in your mouth; so fresh and amazing! We got miso soups which were very very yummy. The (wonderful by the way) waitress brought over some complementary things that weren't on the menu. They were so good though. It was a ball of spicy tuna (not some mashed up mess either) with avocado, crunch flakes and sauce on top. They were called Dino eggs lol. The cold sake was so good. We got a bottle of peach and another bottle also. After that, we ordered 2 rolls. Salmon skin roll (which I had never had before) and it was delicious and crunchy. And we had a snow roll which was so good! It had eel, cream cheese, and was deep fried! Soo delish! The service we received was outstanding. The Waitress was very polite and attentive. Just a super friendly young woman. We even had a mishap in our party of three where it made a bit of a sticky mess. It was not a problem though. The waitress and busser helped quickly to clean it up. To top it all off, we got a fried ice cream dessert. It was big enough to feed over three people for sure!! It was so good! I think this experience has certainly topped every other sushi restaurant experience yet! I know I will find myself back here. Even if you think you have your favorite Japanese spot, check Yune's out!! You might be surprised!! read more

Okay, so this was THE BEST Asian food we have had. I am very picky with food as well with some of the other ten people coming along with me to Yune's Sushi. When we got there, it was an extremely nice, clean, modern looking place. The customer service was incredible with friendly waiters coming for your every need. The food was amazing quality and huge portions. It tasted amazing. Everything was for a fair, good price. Everyone was talking about how good the restaurant was on the way home. I would definitely recommend this place! read more

I came to this spot because it was recommended and decided to give it a try. I was very surprised, the environment was nice, the staff were nice too and the sushi... WOW I did not know I was going to like it that much, it was very taste and on point as well! I highly recommend to check out this spot, I was very hungry and I DEVOURED everything they put on the table. Now, keep in mind I had some hot Sake in my system so I might have gotten a little too excited and now I'm ready to go into a food coma. read more

The best japanese restaurant in the Tuxedo / Monroe area in our minds. Sushis are excellent, fresh and well crafted. The selection is impressive and some of the specialty sushis are really unique. The korean dishes are really good too. The pork with spicy kimchi sauce is worth trying though I don't care much for the thick rice noodles. Bring the sweet potatoe noodles back ! read more

Yune's saved the night for me and my party of 8. Had reservations for Okarie after my brothers graduation last night. It was a chaotic unorganized disaster of a place. We left. After spending 3 hours at graduation and 1 hour in this place we were starving. I called Yune's (at 9:25) since it was close by. I explained its my brothers graduation. They said that the kitchen is closing I said I understand. Then few minutes later I get a call back from Yune's saying to come that the owner said it's okay! We rushed over. *The food was delicious and fresh. My entire family enjoyed their dishes. I had the chicken teriyaki, my new favorite !!! The presentation was beautiful(I wish I took more food pics to post). The ambiance was calming. Lighting was dim. The portions was generous. The price was reasonable. The time the food was ready was perfect considering the amount of us. We were all relieved to be in a beautiful establishment. * Our nice waitress had later said that the owner made our food himself. We were all amazed. She said that when I called and told them it was a graduation dinner he felt that he had to take care of us ..even with his staff gone. This is a owner dedicated to his business . And a man with great values . He didn't have to take us in but instead he took it upon himself to take care of it. He eventually came out and spoke to us saying he understood it was graduation and couldn't say no. And that the desert was on him for my brother. He saved the entire night for us and made my brothers graduation night so special. If your in the area or craving a great restaurant Yune's is the place to go!!! It will be forever mine:) read more

We decided to try this restaurant because of all the great reviews which I now chalk up to lack of anything better in the area. Terrible service!!!! We arrived just before 6:00pm wanting to get in and out quickly. The crowd grew quickly and you can see the places is a bit mismanaged. An awkward non existent waiting area and general confusion. Our waitress must have been new we had to call her and coax her the ENTIRE way. Their water tasted like mold. So we were not off to a great start. We had to ask the waitress to bring the salad (which was a nice size with mixed greens but a little heavy on the dressing). We had to ask again about the food after a 20 minute wait She came over and said the sushi is done do you want that now? Well duh no I rather wait to eat sushi and hot food together. She brought out our separately ordered rolls on 1 plate. I asked for mine to be cut to 8 instead of 6, they tried but it so a little misshapen. We like that they had sushi and Korean menus. Their roll choices lacked creativity and tasted equally as uninspired. Yunes roll (their namesake for goodness sake!) was completely average & nothing special. Spicy Bulgoki (which to our waitresses only credit was brought without additional reminders) was good, not greasy but not great. Our waitress passed our table 3 additional times without looking over, asking if we needed anything or if everything was ok. As she tried to sneak past the fourth time, I hailed her down to ask for the check. Another waitress, seeming to sense our annoyance took mercy on use and checked us out. Safe to say I'd sooner travel to Manhattan than to come here again! read more

Ordered chicken fried rice spicy and the only seasoning I tasted was cayenne pepper. No flavor whatsoever. The sushi rolls were larger than normal but nothing special. Not sure why I thought this place would be different based off the reviews. It wasn't, as most places in Monroe overly hyped and bland. They don't like seasoned food up here. read more

I will be completely honest, I was very close to giving this 5 stars. I sure wish there was a .5 start option as this would definitely be 4.5 stars. This is by far the BEST sushi restaurant we have tried since moving here. I pretty darn good beer selection, really good fried rice, and the sushi is great! Oh, and by the way, they give you this really good fried chips basket with a sweet and sour type sauce for an appetizer. Their service was good and really just overall pleased with our selection for our date night. We will definitely be making this drive more frequently to get some really good food. If you love sushi, I would say this is a must try for sushi lovers and the environment is really clean, which oddly enough, has been kinda hard to find around here. read more

As an Asian American from NYC I am particular about Asian food, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Yune's. Love this spot! From the welcoming hostess to the attentive table staff, this place has nailed customer service. We ordered a few sushi rolls (Q roll was a bit) and the beef bibimbap.
