I really don't like giving bad reviews, but my experience with Accurate was - there's no other way…read moreto put it - terrible. I called them out for a rodent infestation. I communicated to multiple people, multiple times, that I already had mice living inside the wall between my kitchen and bathroom. I was told once they sealed the perimeter that the mice would die off as a byproduct. I expressed my concern that this would just trap the mice inside the house, and was told they didn't believe that would happen, and reiterated what they said about sealing the perimeter. I paid just shy of $2800 to have this done. I'm a teacher and single parent on a modest income and that basically drained my savings, but I needed the mice eradicated, so I trusted them. They did the work, sealed things up....and no change. A month later, my rodent problem was worse than ever. I called them and they told me I could pay for their trapping service for $75/week. I paid for this once, and quickly realized all they were doing was setting snap traps - something I could do myself! So I canceled that, set my own traps, and caught quite a few, but the mice kept breeding. A year later, my kitchen was all but overrun by rodents. I could see them, I could hear them, I couldn't go a day without finding their poop on my counters! It was awful! So my parents paid for me to call another company out - I was desperate, what else could I do, I needed them gone! The other company assessed the work Accurate did and found that, not only had they missed sealing a number of spots in the first place, but most of the spots they had sealed, they'd sealed with foam spray, which rodents can chew through, and therefore their work had failed in multiple places around my perimeter. In short, this means not only were the original mice trapped in and breeding, but new ones also had entry to my house. After spending nearly $3K! The other company charged less than half what Accurate charged, redid a lot of their work, set bait stations around my perimeter and inside my house (something Accurate should've, but didn't, do), and a week later, I was rodent-free for the first time in over 18 months! It's been 2 months since the second company came out, and still not a single rodent. I hear none, I see none, and no poop anywhere. They're gone! Save your money and DO NOT use this company for rodents!!!! They don't know what they're doing and will charge you a fortune only to make your problem exponentially and expensively worse!

I had Accurate come out regularly for a couple of years. There were no problems and they always…read morenotified me that they would be coming. The service people always checked with me to ask if I had problems, etc. Well, the one time the guy was here and gone before I was able to talk to him. Less than 10 minutes. And, when I checked he had only sprayed about 5 feet by the back door and 5 feet on the other side of the house. It was a Fri afternoon and when I called the office to complain, I was told he was gone for the day but they would get back to me the following Mon. She also said the guy was a new person. No one ever called me back and I tried several times to speak with management. My complaint is with the management and the front desk who just gave me a bunch of excuses. Unless you are there to monitor the service you could be paying for service you are not receiving.

Thermostat for forced air heating stopped working during chilly weather…read more Called them; receptionist got on it right away and was able to arrange for a technician house call that same day! Checked old thermostat as I watched, answered questions. We needed a new thermostat, which he had in stock in his van. Showed me the specs and price on his phone, which I approved. He then installed it and voila! problem solved. Price? Not cheap, but reasonable considering the immediate and hassle-free service. It spared us another chilly night in the house! How that for value?

I wanna start this by saying I've bought three full systems from this company. first bought a mini…read moresplit system for my business. after a couple years, they told me they couldn't work on it anymore and maintenance it because they changed their policy and I was left high and dry with no one to service it.. Then I bought a heat/AC unit along with a very expensive dehumidifier system for my home. The dehumidifier was actually the most expensive part of the whole system. I paid every year for them to come do the maintenance. I noticed there was some problem and it wasn't running correctly so I called them and they sent their Repair man over. I was told that the dehumidifier filter had never been changed and that my dehumidifier system was broken. I was so upset since I was paying the maintenance schedule like I was told and for some reason their maintenance people only serviced the AC and heating unit and never touched the dehumidifier and I was never made aware of this as it's under the house so I'm not gonna crawl under there. I had to fight with them to have them install and pay for a new dehumidifier because none of this was my fault ...in the end, they put in a new dehumidifier, but it is cheap and is not nearly as sophisticated as the one I paid for. I used to be able to change the humidity from the controller in the house and turn the unit on and off now it just runs constantly and cost me a ton of money even if I turn my AC and heat off the dehumidifier just keeps running and there's no way to turn it off. I feel like they lied to me because they put in this cheap unit and didn't tell me that it was not as good as the one I already had. I feel like I was taking advantage of definitely. before I had all these problems with the house that I just mentioned, I had them install another heating system into another one of my homes. This past weekend, I could smell propane inside my house and I was very alarmed. After speaking with Evans mechanical they said they will come out first thing in the morning and look at it. Then they called me back a bit later and said that they decided to push me off to the end of the day, they came out and spent a long time and told me there was nothing wrong with my system. I asked them to do a pressure check on the plumbing that they installed for the unit but they said they don't do that. So now I have to hire a different company to come out and do a pressure check on the equipment they installed and to find out why propane is leaking into my house. I'm extremely disappointed I've given them at least $100,000 and I guess since I have no more projects to work on, they're just done with me. A Propane leak is a pretty serious problem and I can't believe they're just dropping the ball and leaving me like this. this not only could impact my life, but all my neighbors if my house blows up. I'm so extremely disappointed.
