    While the staff at Homeshield Pest Control have always been pleasant and I appreciate their use of…read morenatural treatments, I've been extremely disappointed with their lack of support in resolving our ongoing mice problem. Over the past two years, we've spent a significant amount of money with Homeshield to replace attic insulation and treat our home for rodent mites caused by repeated mouse infestations. Our insulation warranty was supposed to include service to prevent mice from re-entering the attic, yet new openings continue to appear and remain unaddressed. Each time an inspection is done, it takes weeks to schedule a follow-up appointment to actually seal the openings. Recently, after hearing mice again--now with a newborn in our home--we contacted Homeshield immediately. A technician quickly confirmed there were openings near our A/C line that needed to be patched, but for two weeks we were told they couldn't schedule the repair because the technician hadn't submitted the required diagram. When an appointment was finally scheduled, no repair was done--only additional traps were placed in the attic. After escalating the issue, we were told a manager could come re-inspect the home, but not until nearly a month after the initial report. At this point, I'm frustrated by the lack of follow-through and the amount of time I've had to spend chasing updates. We are simply not receiving the service promised under our insulation warranty and monthly maintenance plan, and we will likely be switching vendors soon. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend Homeshield Pest Control.

    I used Unprofessional Pest Management several years ago, and had an issue with an appointment (no…read moreshow), while I was working from home. The service tech said, he came out, when in fact I had been working from home the whole day with no one ringing, knocking on my door, or even a phone call. The house next door was selling their house, and empty, and I told the main office, I think the service tech went to the wrong house because I had been home. Instead of reschedule, the office refunded me, and punished themselves by not servicing me, thereafter (Insert tears here). I wrote a long email about them not being transparent with me, not even calling me, and who does business like that. We both came in agreement they would service me moving forward. Understood! Fast forwarded this past December 2024. I hired them to seal some vents etc, and that went perfectly, despite the mess the guy made on my concrete. The service tech said, he was to come back weeks later and shave the excess material down. He never showed up, I called the office, they said, there was never to be a follow up. Ok, cool. Moved on from it. They didn't forget to charge me the $980.00 for that, but hey. Didn't pass up on my money on this one. Called this past Tuesday, spoke with Miranda, she gave me a breakdown of pest services and the quarterly cost, assuming with the economy, things have got a bit more expensive. She was to call me back this upcoming Friday, but I beat her to it, called today, to press the button. I figured everything would be seamless since they have my card on file. Come to find out, they again, do not want to service me. Zach the Manager calls me to tell me he would need 100% payment up front of $511.00. You have my current card on file to charge for each visit, this has absolutely nothing to do with payment. Seems so odd. I refuse to beg for a companies business, and that is how they are making it seem. Moving on, there are a dime of dozen pest control services out there, really, it is not that serious. All in all, they want to cherry pick the business they want to do with me. Their loss, their prerogative. Typical family owned business. Paul- I have never, ever, not paid for any type of service in my life. No service was done the day of the no show, you are flat out lying. Now you guys are nothing but liars. Who would pay for a service not given. This is even worse than I thought. No one wants to do business with liars. I just dropped $900 for a half ass, messy spray foam for my vents, and you think I won't pay for service. Weirdo. Why didn't you decline service this last time?     Won't give you the time of day unless you sign up for their useless monthly subscription…read more I hired Go-pher the Kill to take care of a massive gopher problem in my front and back yard. We had them out, they told me a price, and explained that I would be shown the dead animals before being charged and then we scheduled service. They charge a service fee per visit and then a fee per animal killed on top of that. I thought that was a little bit of an odd model, but I didn't think it was bad, so I agreed. They came, buried the traps, and then returned in a week. I got an email invoice showing a charge. Nobody showed me any gophers or anything. I politely mentioned this when the boss came back and he apologized, reset the traps and said he'd see me the next week. They came back and said they caught more and showed me a little grainy photo of a dead animal that could have been taken anywhere at any time. Every time they visited, they tried to get me to sign up for a monthly fee that makes no sense. It gives an insignificant discount on the catch fee. Overall the subscription fee would add up to much more than the discount. It makes no sense. After the 3rd time I declined, they ghosted me completely. There was no conflict, there was no complaint from me (other than the polite mention that I didn't know they caught anything the first time.) They just reset their traps and never returned. I've emailed, and called and nobody has replied. Their traps are still buried in my backyard. It's been about 6 months. And before you reply, business owner: It's too late. Don't bother. I'm not going to change this review and you've had multiple chances to do the right thing. Nothing you can do now will improve the situation.

    I have been using this company for several years now and have had no problems with their service or…read morework. Someone is always there to answer my calls and schedule service. I want to be there when they pull the traps to see what was caught and also to answer any questions I might have. Current servicemen were Alex and Sam (several trips out) and they were great. I pay a monthly charge to have Gopher the Kill on call should I have problems. With this system their charge per incident is significantly reduced. That works for them and me because sometimes there will be months between any need to have them out. Highly recommend.
