Initially I was sold on the low cost and trust in the service that was explained to me. After about a week I even added the mosquito service due to the amount of mosquito activity in my backyard ( yes, I made sure to check for any standing water which could bred mosquitoes). I found I another issue which was fleas but the service did not include fleas so that would've been an additional cost. I was enjoying the pool and a colony of ants began to emerge from an area near my pool. Ugh! So, after paying for a mosquito service which did not work (I was bit one evening around 15-20 time ( not kidding), and paying for a pest control service and still an ant problem, I decided to disc the service and was charged $100 fee. I used Unprofessional Pest Management several years ago, and had an issue with an appointment (no show), while I was working from home. The service tech said, he came out, when in fact I had been working from home the whole day with no one ringing, knocking on my door, or even a phone call. The house next door was selling their house, and empty, and I told the main office, I think the service tech went to the wrong house because I had been home. Instead of reschedule, the office refunded me, and punished themselves by not servicing me, thereafter (Insert tears here). I wrote a long email about them not being transparent with me, not even calling me, and who does business like that. We both came in agreement they would service me moving forward. Understood! Fast forwarded this past December 2024. I hired them to seal some vents etc, and that went perfectly, despite the mess the guy made on my concrete. The service tech said, he was to come back weeks later and shave the excess material down. He never showed up, I called the office, they said, there was never to be a follow up. Ok, cool. Moved on from it. They didn't forget to charge me the $980.00 for that, but hey. Didn't pass up on my money on this one. Called this past Tuesday, spoke with Miranda, she gave me a breakdown of pest services and the quarterly cost, assuming with the economy, things have got a bit more expensive. She was to call me back this upcoming Friday, but I beat her to it, called today, to press the button. I figured everything would be seamless since they have my card on file. Come to find out, they again, do not want to service me. Zach the Manager calls me to tell me he would need 100% payment up front of $511.00. You have my current card on file to charge for each visit, this has absolutely nothing to do with payment. Seems so odd. I refuse to beg for a companies business, and that is how they are making it seem. Moving on, there are a dime of dozen pest control services out there, really, it is not that serious. All in all, they want to cherry pick the business they want to do with me. Their loss, their prerogative. Typical family owned business. (PPM) [[HIGHLIGHT]]horrible customer service in Yelp Projects Workspace, because I initially created Yelp project on 7/18/2025 11:47 AM for Bee Control and Removal, and I had to do a follow-up on 10/6/2025, 3:07 PM of which I finally received a reply late afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]However, they did not provide all the information from my initial request, and I follow-up with a request for more information same day 10/6/2025, but did not receive any response after that.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]On 10/7/25 I had to call to request for the information and to make an appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I called 10/7/25, I asked if I could provide a video for the Bee pest in the corner of my home in order to receive a quote for removal, however, PPM informed me they will need to send a technician specialize in handling bees of which I agreed for 10/10/25 with a time window of 12-5 PM.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] PPM instead sends a Sales Specialist, Sales Rep. did not perform an inspection like I was told when making appointment. The Sales Rep. did not get on the roof instead Sales Rep. stepped to the corner of the home to have a 5-10 minute conversation and left. Sales Rep. stated PPM will e-mailing a estimate/quote, however, after checking my email thoroughly I did not receive one. And I double checked my email with both PPM customer service, and the Sales Rep. Avoid this company. If their customer service is anything like the way their employees drive, I would steer clear. One of their drivers abruptly cut me off without signaling or checking traffic, forcing me into the center turn lane to avoid a collision. As I passed the vehicle, the driver actually flipped me off as if I had done something wrong. Totally unprofessional and aggressive behavior.
