We are first-time homebuyers who utilized a VA loan, which required a termite inspection and…read moreclearance. Rockwell was hired for this inspection and came highly recommended. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about their ethics and business practices. During the initial inspection, the technician failed to enter the home and conducted only an exterior review. Despite this limited assessment, they reported dry rot and evidence of termite damage that needed repair for the VA loan approval. We were subsequently quoted approximately $5,000 for the necessary work, which the sellers agreed to and was scheduled. Rockwell later issued clearance indicating that all required repairs had been completed. However, during our final walkthrough, we discovered that the work was not fully complete. After intervention from our realtor, the company was slow to respond, failed to prioritize the issue, and even missed a scheduled appointment to complete the outstanding work. We were then informed they could not return for several more days, even though the loan had already closed based on their certification--something we relied on in good faith when proceeding with signing the closing documents and getting the keys (our mistake). Only after significant pressure did Rockwell return the following day. When they did, the quality of work was subpar. Porch pillars were installed without any bolts, paint was left splattered carelessly, siding was replaced with an incorrect material and dry rot was painted over. We also have no confidence that proper termite treatment was performed. Further concerns arose from the initial inspection itself, which failed to identify obvious issues, including a severely termite-infested bush on the property and a shed, and termite frass in an electrical panel, along with swarmers stuck in webs along the exterior of the house. Given these oversights and the substandard repairs, we hired another company to conduct a new inspection at our own expense after closing because we did not trust that the work was properly completed. This company felt the house should have been tented prior to closure. Most troubling is that Rockwell issued official clearance required for our VA loan to close despite the fact that the work had not been completed at the time. This is a serious matter and calls into question the integrity of their reporting and compliance with required standards of a VA loan. Due to this experience, we cannot recommend this company. We strongly advise others to exercise caution and seek more reliable, thorough, and ethical service providers.

So far over 5 years with Procraft and I would not switch. Just added monthly service for the summer months. In California it's not if you're going to get termites. It's when you're going to get termites. Highly recommended!

Always service with a smile. Not only are they on time, they usually arrive early for their service appointments. Not sure about you but it's definitely hard to find a combination like this in the service industry these days. I normally take care of bug sprays around the house myself but last year, we had a really crazy ant infestation that I couldn't figure out why or find the source until I desperately reached out to DM. They came out the same day and identified the source was coming from my neighbor's tree(s) (one out front and one in the back corner adjacent to our yard). Being that my neighbor are older, we just decided to take care of it for them for our own sanity. The same neighbor just told me the other day, "no wonder, I didn't have any ant problems this whole year" after I had told them we had hired DM to keep the ant problems at bay since last year. They were too embarrassed to say anything about it years prior. Anyway, DM's rate/service is of great value.
