They (more like just HE) make delicious food, smoothies, and fresh fruit cups. While in town for work we took to the tunnels to explore the breakfast options. After roaming around a bit we came to FdF and I knew I had to try it. The location is small but the menu is not: so many options and they all sound great! The fresh fruit options alone will boggle your mind. We went with the breakfast tacos and I got a smoothie. Wow! Both were DELICIOUS and made to order. Not only that, but the guy that served them was ready, willing, and eager to satisfy any request and with a smile. He is just a genuinely nice guy. Surprised as I was to see how long this little spot has been around (as evidenced by Yelp) I'm actually not... I could see this having a loyal following - heck, count me among them even though I only make it to Dallas (maybe) twice a year!

Edit: At least two times a year, (typically around christmas and another special occasion) we order Hojaldras. It's essentially a puff pastry on the inside is ham and cheese and the top is a sugar glaze. It sounds odd but i promise it is amazing! It's one of the only places in Dallas we know of that makes it!

My parents started off with fresh juices and my mom got a cafe de olla which is coffee sweetened with brown sugar. They enjoyed their drinks. My rigatoni had a creamy sauce with just the right amount of spice. Same as last time, our waiter was terrific and made sure we were taken care of. The place is small and cozy. La Super Ice Cream Parlor is a laid-back, no frills spot that lets the flavors do all the talking. The team member working that night was outstanding: incredibly friendly, generous with samples (truly encouraged us to try as many as we wanted!), and genuinely helpful as we navigated the flavor options. It was an incredible menu, including unique options like Queso, Chamoy, Pinenut, and Eggnog alongside plenty of classics. Everything we sampled was delicious, which made choosing wonderfully difficult. Although we came for dessert, we noticed they also offer food items and an impressive wall of ice fruit bars (popsicles) that looked just as tempting. I went with a scoop of Eggnog, and it was phenomenal. I never expected to choose ice cream with raisins in it! My husband chose half Queso and half Chamoy and loved the sweet-savory combo. I'm SO grateful our friend introduced us to this spot. It's the kind of place you look forward to revisiting and we absolutely will next time we're in town. Highly recommend!

We found this place by accident looking for something delicious & different; did not disappoint. We sat at the bar as it was crowded on a Sunday afternoon (around 2:30) & did not want to wait on a table although it would not have taken long. Mary, our bartender was a true blessing. She explained the drink & food menu really well to first timers & even let us taste test a few ingredients as we watched her mixing drinks. Answered all gringo like questions. lol These drinks are top end and she was garnishing with everything from toasted fruit, to coffee beans or fresh ground cinnamon with tweezers and/or graters. Enjoyed watching her do her thing! We ordered the mole & chile quilles (certain I messed up the spelling) & both were outstanding. We will be back! We travel all over the United States eating & drinking; this is our new favorite place! This place is also a coffee & pasty shop, a Mexican inspired Starbucks if you will. Can't wait to go back.
