The torta I got was great, the interior was really cute. The people were sweet and quick. One of my favorite places to get a good torta.

    Quesadilla de bistec

2 for 2. A real hidden gem. The corn tortilla quesadilla is unreal and unlike anything in Dallas. Prices are unmatched and service isn't bad at all. The restaurant is in a decent area for parking and has plenty of seating inside. Really should have way more people here than it does. A go to spot for me now.

Great street style tacos ordered 1 chicken and 1 beef for my wife with red and green salsa to go. Both had great flavor and also excellent service The cooks and the cashier's sill using the COVID portocal wearing masks. Will return to try their other items on the menu.

2/12/22 - Welcome Soup. Fideo on a cold day.

Aca Las Tortas is a a great food find. Yes - this quaint hole in the wall food establishment does not have many yelp reviews but the Tortas alone are worth the visit. I came here on Saturday right before noon. It was not busy and there were a few tables for those who wish to dine in. Aca las tortas has many different variety of DF style Mexican sandwiches and you just have to be ready to pick one. I recommend trying to the #1 La Atorona ($8 bucks). It's a fried chicken cutlet sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeños avocado and refried beans. You can make it a combo with a side of fries and Mexican coke. Remember sometimes it's all about the bread and this Torta bread is stored in containers to maintain freshness. Welcome Touch: If you decide to dine in, they serve you a small plate of fideo soup as a starter. Think tomato, stock-based savory soup. It's this soup many Mexican kids grew up eating that if you close your eyes, you will be brought back to your favorite childhood memory of waiting for the tortillas to be done so you can sit down and eat. Yelp Tip: It's located on a corner next two a school. As others have mentioned, the parking lot is a bit snug and can be tricky to get into. Definitely will be back.

Very small place, parking can be tricky during rush hour. They give you free sopa de fideo when you dine in. I ordered the quesadilla de maiz which was very good but the fajita had a weird taste to it, I think it was the seasoning they used. The horchata was decent. Overall it was an average spot. Wouldn't go out my way to come back but if I were in the area and wanted something quick, then I would definitely consider it.

Good tacos, EXTREMELY friendly service! I had 3 pastor tacos and 3 fajita tacos. The pastor were my favorite! Great flavor and a little crispy, just how I like it. And there was plenty of meat. Big chunks! 2 salsas that were good. The orange one was a little hot for me so I stuck with the green. Street Tacos

It had a nice, warm, and welcoming feel, which made it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a quick treat. The staff was attentive and took my order pretty quickly, which I appreciated. My Americano came out hot and had a really good bold flavor. I love adding cream to my coffee, and once I did, it balanced out that strong kick perfectly. The beignets were made fresh to order and took about 7 minutes to come out. They were hot, soft, and very fluffy, almost more similar to a donut than a traditional beignet. Since most of my beignet experience comes from New Orleans, Louisiana, I definitely had a different texture in mind going in. I personally wish they had been a little crispier, especially around the edges, but they were still decent and enjoyable. Overall, I had a good experience. Between the welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, good coffee, and fresh beignets, I would definitely try Le Bon Temps again without hesitation.

The story she shared with us that day was truly inspiring, it was clear that this wasn't just a business, but a passion built from purpose and heart. Recently, I made the drive to her current shop in Irving, Texas. It's a bit of a distance for me, but I truly enjoy supporting businesses like this. The new location is such a step up cute, welcoming, and in a great area. I treated myself to butter pecan ice cream with Fruity Pebbles, and it honestly reminded me that even as an adult, it's okay to enjoy the little things that bring happiness. I highly recommend that the business remains in this location; the community was incredibly welcoming and clearly excited to have ZZ's Ice Cream there.
