The tortas are huge here! Easily two meals for a normal appetite. Ordered the huasteca which was full of meat and flavor. I almost asked if I needed to order more than one because my mind went straight to what a normal corn tortilla looks like but I figured the size of it in the picture was as big as the plate so I'll just order. Let me tell you, this was the BEST quesadilla I'd ever had! It was a homemade tortilla with a delicious cheese, cream, and lettuce. I would have preferred a diff type of lettuce or even a heavy load of cilantro but overall I ate this entire thing. Very small place, parking can be tricky during rush hour. They give you free sopa de fideo when you dine in. I ordered the quesadilla de maiz which was very good but the fajita had a weird taste to it, I think it was the seasoning they used. The horchata was decent. Overall it was an average spot. The inside is quaint and there is a bean bar where you can get all the beans you want. I got a to-go ordered and it took about 10 minutes. The quesadillas had a crunchy shell and were a good size. I also had chicken inside and there was a good amount of meat. The enchilada plate I ordered was a lot of food as well and wasn't too greasy. The torta has HUGE pieces of chicken, ham, breaded steak, avocado, beans, cheese, tomatoes, onions and jalapenos. There is so much going on with this torta that its amazing. Neighborhood wise its not the easiest on the eyes but please dont let that stop you. My only complaint is that I have to drive 20-30 minutes to get here but its well worth it.
