As someone who genuinely enjoys visiting coffee shops, I came in with high expectations, but unfortunately, this experience was disappointing. I barely drank my beverage. I only tasted a little of the whipped cream and a few chocolate pieces on top. It was advertised as having a mild spicy kick, but I didn't taste any spice at all. To me, it just tasted like milk, whipped cream, cherry syrup, and a shot of espresso. I was expecting a richer chocolate flavor, a better balance with the coffee, and the subtle heat that was advertised, but it completely missed the mark. The shop itself is very small, and in my opinion, having a DJ in a coffee shop doesn't create the right atmosphere. The music was so loud that it made it difficult to have a conversation or even communicate with the staff. On top of that, my drink was handed to me with noticeable spills, which wasn't a great first impression. The food was actually what attracted me to this place because of all the positive reviews. However, when I ordered the avocado toast, I was told it would take about 20 minutes. For a coffee shop with more than five employees working at the time, I found that wait to be unreasonable, so I decided not to order. I've visited dozens of coffee shops throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, so I have plenty of experiences to compare with. Unfortunately, this one did not meet my expectations in terms of quality, service, or atmosphere. That said, I do want to give credit where it's due. The cashier was very polite, welcoming, and greeted me with a genuine smile. I truly appreciated the friendly customer service, and I hope the rest of the experience can eventually match that level of hospitality.

Very good coffee, and food was good too (had their breakfast burrito, very filling). Plenty and also unique options for both coffee/matcha/food. Small space, more to grab and go or just to space out rather than studying though there is a small cute patio outside for a chat with friends! Service was friendly and quick!

Great local coffee spot with a variety of food options. They have a live dj with cool beats. If you like a quiet coffee shop, you may want to get your order to go. Food was good and service was great! I had the lavender latte and the ham and cheese croissant. My husband got the SOB and it was delicious!

sob Bagel

i got the sob bagel and banana pudding matcha. the bagel tasted good. the egg was soft and fluffy. i think it's reasonably priced for the size of bagel u get. the matcha was not good. it didn't come as advertised and had inconsistencies. i think the matcha was watered down and the drink tastes too heavily of banana. it was extremely pricey for what i got so would not recommend. i got a pickup order, and it was extremely hard to get to it. there's a dj booth and a 20 person line in such a tiny space. not a good working or studying environment. based on the owners response- this place deserves a one star review. a matcha should taste like a matcha. and a coffee shop should have good coffee and nice staff. considering how rude the owner is i would not recommend this at all.

Amazing spot for some GREAT coffee and a bite to eat! As my first time here the girl at the counter was super helpful in helping me choose some of their best items. I went with a coffee and lemonade for drinks. For food I got their bagel and wow was it delicious. Packed with flavor and the thing was humongous! More of a smaller type of feel but don't let that fool you there stuff is amazing. There are about 3-4 tables inside. So if u wanted to sit for a sec you could but I think it is a more grab and go! This place will not disappoint! Give it a try!

Classic Breakfast Sandwich (Bacon, egg & cheese on a bagel)

Stopped at killer joes this morning and loved the vibe. I walked in and saw the DJ which definitely caught me by surprise. It's definitely not your classic Breakfast on the go spot. The line was decent especially for Easter Sunday. The staff is so kind! The bagel was both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. However, the bagel is very thick. If you aren't big on carbs, I'd recommend ordering this but with the croissant or low carb options. I also like how you can customize the bark with sauces or additional items. Love it!

This is the SPOT! Amazing breakfast sandwiches, coffee and paninis. Great vibes, dj set up Saturdays. Great service. All around my favorite breakfast spot in dallas! I am still working through the menu but think my favorite is the spaghetti western or SOB. Also killer coffee!

Sea Salt Caramel de Leche Latte

Small little hole in the wall coffee shop ! The staff were all super nice and helpful- the place itself wasn't really my vibe, very loud alt music blasting and skulls and such but the coffee itself was really good! I got the Sea Salt Caramel de Leche Latte and it was super tasty. There's amount 4 tables inside and about 5 outside. There is a sign that says no laptops or working remotely on the weekends- I'm assuming bc it's so small and they get so busy. Overall I enjoyed the coffee but the environment wasn't really for me. I highly recommend trying at least if you're in the area !

Their specialty latte was pretty good! I was a bit apprehensive when I walked up to the counter and saw all of the generic syrups because that generally means the coffee isn't as good, but I was surprised by how creamy and well balanced my latte was. I can't remember exactly what I got, but I asked the barista what their most popular latte was and ordered exactly that. Next time, I'll try their food because it seems like they have some really loyal fans and a lot of bagels too!

This is one of those places that you drive by all the time but you never really hear about and that needs to change! The iced sea salt caramel de Leche latte is out of this world! And it comes in a big cup so I actually feel like I'm getting my $7 worth. Parking is mehhhh but let's be real parking isn't great at all of the best coffee shops in Dallas. It's a small little space so maybe it's best to order ahead (especially on weekends), but I promise it's absolutely worth it. The few times I've gone everyone working has been really nice! They also make a pretty good breakfast sandwich!

Breakfast burrito

Amazing food quality and friendly front workers. DJ is unique and can be pretty load. But good vibes.

Turkey Melt
Grace B.

A perfect summer sandwich, cold and hot options, with breakfast all day! I got the turkey melt and their hot tea. They had a DJ spinning tunes which did make the inside a bit loud and hard to talk with friends but we enjoy the patio instead.

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

Everyone in my group loved their drink orders and the breakfast sandwiches had a good depth of flavor thanks to the quality meat and delicious sauce! My only reason for not giving a 5 star is that there is no seating, so don't plan to enjoy your delicious treat there. You might have to take it to go. Can't wait to go back!

It's a lunch spot with sandwiches and a glass of wine or a cocktail. It's the perfect place to work on your laptop or read a book, but also to take a casual date or your family for breakfast. They have a gluten free bread option (woohoo) and I've had both their avocado toast and the fried egg breakfast sandwich (with added avocado haha). Both are sooo good. The avocado toast comes with smoked salmon, which I do like, but I'm more of a basic avocado toast person. It also has a little pico de gallo and red pepper flakes! The breakfast sandwich is 2 over easy eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, and tomato on sourdough (I subbed gluten free bread and added avocado) with a side of breakfast potatoes. It's a lot of food -- super filling and delicious. I also recommend their iced latte with whatever house-made syrup your prefer (usuals like caramel, vanilla, mocha, and then not-so-usuals like coconut pandan, lavender, brown sugar date, etc.). Enjoy!

I usually don't judge matcha by color but this probably needs like double the matcha to be worth the price. It actually tastes really bad. I appreciate that the barista whisked it by hand and it wasn't just poured from a pitcher but not good at all. The food is okay but hit or miss. Lots of space to work and appreciate that there is a parking lot.
