    Chilaquiles

This place has the best chilaquiles in the city! The service is good and the restaurant is clean and bright. The only reason why I did not give five stars is due to the parking situation. It's valet only and the lot is directly infront of the restaurant and it's an extremely small lot which defeats the purpose of valet.

I love looking for places to eat when we are in town for work! I came across El Encanto and it truly was the pan dulce and cafe de olla that sold me on the reason our group go here! The interior is beautiful. It's clean and it's give exactly the aesthetic that they promote....Mexico City. The service was great, so hospitable. Like you were enjoying a meal in their home. They had an outdoor area which looked very green and beautiful...the Dallas heat and humidity prevented us from even trying to go out there and enjoy it!! The food was delicious! The pan dulce, the cafe de olla hit the spot just like I was hoping it would! The chorizo torta was perfect...the bread was so soft!! We all enjoyed our meals. It's not a large place for groups unless they move tables together. The parking is interesting. Their own lot has about 6 spots, so when you pull in there is a valet guy that takes your car and parks it somewhere else. We got there in good time because when we were leaving there was a line of cars waiting to get in! I would still go back...breakfast or even dinner!

Came here for brunch on a Saturday around noonish and was told the wait would be 1 hr 15 min for a table of 4. We decided to wait since we made the drive up to come and actually got our table in 30 min.. the size of the restaurant isn't good for big groups so max I would say would be 6 ppl if u are planning on coming here, unless u split up. Parking is terrible here, they recommend their complementary valet. The food we had was really good. I had the green chilaquiles and a cafe de olla (a little sweeter than the one I'm use to in Mexico) they have fresh Mexican bread they offer as well. The green chilaquiles had a kick, which cleaned my sinuses but they were delicious. Had an order of their pancakes, which were also good. Our food did take a minute to come out but overall it was a good experience. They do have some outside seating. I would come back but maybe during the week.

    Mimosas while you wait.

I've driven past this restaurant and been intrigued for some time. Unfortunately, their hours are somewhat limited so that had to wait. However, I could tell by the always full parking lot and obvious wait outside that I had good instincts. When my wife and I finally had a free Saturday morning, we jumped at the chance to try it. Know that parking is limited, and while they have a valet to attempt to manage it, it was so busy when we arrived that we just parked around the corner and walked in. True to form, there was a wait (pro tip: use Yelp! to jump in the queue ahead of time), but it was managed well, and the $5 mimosas (featuring FRESH SQUEEZED orange juice) helped pass the time. To our eye, this place is less Tex Mex than CDMX inspired, and I know that matters to some people. When we were seated and I glanced around the room to see that we were the only gringos, my anticipation arose and I told my wife that I couldn't wait to Columbus the hell out of this place. From service to food, it did not disappoint in any way. My chilaquiles with shredded chicken were served atop a crispy corn tortilla (that somehow stayed crispy until the last bite) with the most flavorful sauce. While I like spice, I opted for the milder "red" sauce. I'll go hotter next time with the "green" sauce. My wife's chorizo egg sandwich was similarly epic-the eggs cooked perfectly, the avocado just right, and the chorizo lively but not punishing. TLDR: great, friendly service with excellent food. Go now-you won't regret it!

I can't say enough great things about this place, everytime i come, the service is amazing, the food is delicious. I feel like I've stepped in Mexico City everytime i come here. To me, it's hard to find a good chilaquiles plate in dfw but this place does it AMAZING. It's a longer wait most times but it's so worth it.

Almost an hour wait on a Saturday at noon but I think that was mostly bc of rain making the back patio unusable. The menu is limited but whatever they do have is good quality and portion. Very small space so probably not a great idea for a part of more than 6.

Best chilaquiles in Dallas. Yes, you'll have to wait to be seated, but it's worth it. The service, coffee, conchas, and food are excellent. The tables and restaurant are always clean, and I love the music they play

I and my friend were looking for a nice little brunch spot and I came across this one on TikTok. Sometimes I'm wary of suggestions on TT, but after some digging, found that this is was a beloved spot. So we drove over early on the weekend to try it out. It's an unassuming small storefront, with valet parking available up front. The inside is very cute and cozy, with outdoor seating. The decor is very reminiscent of CDMX. We got: - pan dulce: 10/10, not cloyingly sweet, soft, and tasted freshly baked - chilaquiles: 15/10, spicy, well flavored - mimosas: 11/10 affordable and strong - cafe de olla: 12/10 coffee with brown sugar + cinnamon notes in a clay pot. Literally life changing - huevos al gusto: my friend got this, and said it was very good. - iced latte: my friend also got this. She said she doesn't drink coffee often but thought this was also well done. Bookmarked for my next visit. Can't wait to come back.

It was so delicious I will come back again

First timer, was not expecting a long wait for a tuesday! But oh my! Worth the wait. Cafe de Olla was perfect, Green chilaquiles were super spicy. Best chilaquiles i've ever had, great taste.

Que riquísimo! The food here was sooooo good. The salsa verde on the chillaquiles is a little bit on the spicier side, but you can tell it's sabrosa, not just a bunch of heat. It's so good. Parking was a little difficult. We just parked a block away and walked. But it's so worth it! Get on that waitlist and try this food! We only waited 35 minutes for a party of 2, and I would wait much longer-- it was that good!

We recently moved here from California, so every restaurant we try is a first-time experience for us -- and Sean set the bar incredibly high. From the moment we sat down, he ensured that we were taken care of with a level of attentiveness and professionalism that is genuinely rare to find. Sean knows the menu inside and out -- from cocktails to entrées -- and every recommendation he made was spot on. We trusted his guidance completely, and he did not let us down. Despite the restaurant being quite busy, he never missed a beat. He checked on us consistently without ever being intrusive, anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, and made our date night feel truly special. We usually aren't the type to leave reviews, but this one felt absolutely well-deserved. While the entire staff was kind, Sean is absolutely an asset to Pizzana. His knowledge, energy, and impeccable service transformed our first visit into one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. He is the kind of server who makes you look forward to returning -- and we definitely will be back because of him. Highly recommend asking for Sean. He is definitely a rockstar.

Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. This was roughly 6 hours after consuming seafood from this establishment. The frustrating part is we actually sent one of the 2 dishes back reporting to staff it had a strange odor/taste and was told we weren't familiar with lobster taste (being from NY this is untrue). My MIL was too embarrassed to send hers back so she ate her entire plate and my husband had about 1/4 of his before exchanging it for an alternate dish. As an emergency service provider I fully understand medical incidents like this can happen anywhere, but what prompted this review was way the situation was handled following my reporting. After reporting the incident to management we were met with what felt like an aggressive line of questioning about the members of our medical team and related details. I was told the incident would be escalated to upper management and the team would reach back out, but this never happened, even after a follow-up email. So, it's safe to say after spending a significant amount of money on what was supposed to be a special evening, the entire experience left a very bad taste in our mouths. At the very least, I would have expected some sort of gesture of goodwill or attempt to make the situation right -- even something as simple as a gift card or invitation to return for a better experience. Unfortunately, that never happened. Based on this experience, I would not choose to return and cannot recommend Drake's to others.
