This place has the best chilaquiles in the city! The service is good and the restaurant is clean and bright. The only reason why I did not give five stars is due to the parking situation. It's valet only and the lot is directly infront of the restaurant and it's an extremely small lot which defeats the purpose of valet.
I love looking for places to eat when we are in town for work! I came across El Encanto and it truly was the pan dulce and cafe de olla that sold me on the reason our group go here! The interior is beautiful. It's clean and it's give exactly the aesthetic that they promote....Mexico City. The service was great, so hospitable. Like you were enjoying a meal in their home. They had an outdoor area which looked very green and beautiful...the Dallas heat and humidity prevented us from even trying to go out there and enjoy it!! The food was delicious! The pan dulce, the cafe de olla hit the spot just like I was hoping it would! The chorizo torta was perfect...the bread was so soft!! We all enjoyed our meals. It's not a large place for groups unless they move tables together. The parking is interesting. Their own lot has about 6 spots, so when you pull in there is a valet guy that takes your car and parks it somewhere else. We got there in good time because when we were leaving there was a line of cars waiting to get in! I would still go back...breakfast or even dinner!
Came here for brunch on a Saturday around noonish and was told the wait would be 1 hr 15 min for a table of 4. We decided to wait since we made the drive up to come and actually got our table in 30 min.. the size of the restaurant isn't good for big groups so max I would say would be 6 ppl if u are planning on coming here, unless u split up. Parking is terrible here, they recommend their complementary valet. The food we had was really good. I had the green chilaquiles and a cafe de olla (a little sweeter than the one I'm use to in Mexico) they have fresh Mexican bread they offer as well. The green chilaquiles had a kick, which cleaned my sinuses but they were delicious. Had an order of their pancakes, which were also good. Our food did take a minute to come out but overall it was a good experience. They do have some outside seating. I would come back but maybe during the week.
I've driven past this restaurant and been intrigued for some time. Unfortunately, their hours are somewhat limited so that had to wait. However, I could tell by the always full parking lot and obvious wait outside that I had good instincts. When my wife and I finally had a free Saturday morning, we jumped at the chance to try it. Know that parking is limited, and while they have a valet to attempt to manage it, it was so busy when we arrived that we just parked around the corner and walked in. True to form, there was a wait (pro tip: use Yelp! to jump in the queue ahead of time), but it was managed well, and the $5 mimosas (featuring FRESH SQUEEZED orange juice) helped pass the time. To our eye, this place is less Tex Mex than CDMX inspired, and I know that matters to some people. When we were seated and I glanced around the room to see that we were the only gringos, my anticipation arose and I told my wife that I couldn't wait to Columbus the hell out of this place. From service to food, it did not disappoint in any way. My chilaquiles with shredded chicken were served atop a crispy corn tortilla (that somehow stayed crispy until the last bite) with the most flavorful sauce. While I like spice, I opted for the milder "red" sauce. I'll go hotter next time with the "green" sauce. My wife's chorizo egg sandwich was similarly epic-the eggs cooked perfectly, the avocado just right, and the chorizo lively but not punishing. TLDR: great, friendly service with excellent food. Go now-you won't regret it!

I and my friend were looking for a nice little brunch spot and I came across this one on TikTok. Sometimes I'm wary of suggestions on TT, but after some digging, found that this is was a beloved spot. So we drove over early on the weekend to try it out. It's an unassuming small storefront, with valet parking available up front.The inside is very cute and cozy, with outdoor seating. The decor is very reminiscent of CDMX. We got: - pan dulce: 10/10, not cloyingly sweet, soft, and tasted freshly baked - chilaquiles: 15/10, spicy, well flavored - mimosas: 11/10 affordable and strong - cafe de olla: 12/10 coffee with brown sugar + cinnamon notes in a clay pot. Literally life changing - huevos al gusto: my friend got this, and said it was very good. - iced latte: my friend also got this. She said she doesn't drink coffee often but thought this was also well done. Bookmarked for my next visit. Can't wait to come back.
Honestly I think I wanted to try this place by the mere pictures of the chilaquiles in these reviews. It turns out that my daughter had already tried this place months before with her sister-in-law and said it was great. I met my date here around 10:00 am on a Saturday morning for our first date and we waited for about 20 minutes because this place gets packed and the wait is expected. Every dish that passed by as we were waiting looked delicious, well manicured, very posh. Once we got seating, we ordered coffees and even the coffee was elegant, you can tell they use quality ingredients here. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes and a side of crispy potatoes and my date ordered the chorizo and egg sandwich and it came with crispy potatoes. When both dishes hit the table, they looked amazing and delicious, very upscale, the crispy potatoes cooked through. My dish looked so good I didn't want to eat it, LOL! We tried each other's dishes and her chorizo and egg sandwich was great. Again, you can tell they use top of the line ingredients because that chorizo was really good and wasn't heavy. The bread alone was soft and not dense. My chilaquiles were some of the best chilaquiles I ever had and I have had some really good chilaquiles in my time from all over. At the end of your meal they do come over with a platter filled with pon dulce and we tried one. We will be back for sure, 5 stars all the way. The service was excellent and even hostess when checking in was all smiles and attentive. You can't go wrong with anything your order here. The parking lot is small but they do have valet service and expect a wait for a table. The inside is small too, but very clean and they do have a back patio area. The day we went was too cold to sit our there,, but it looked nice. read more
Very popular place! Arrived on a Saturday around 11 am and their wait was over an hour long for a group of 6. Staff were very friendly. :) For tables bigger than 5 or 6 they add automatic tip and cannot split the bill, just fyi. The pancake was good, nice crispy edge to it. Very good jam! The chilaquiles were good, the sauce was indeed a good level of spicy. It was a lot of sauce for the amount of tortilla chips, so it got soggy very quick. Overall nice experience and nice dining area, definitely worth a try if you're in the area. :) read more

Let just start by saying, how cute is this breakfast/lunch spot. The cleanliness and minimalist setting is adorable. I felt cozy and the patio was a great touch to the fresh food served. I found this spot in search of authentic Mexican breakfast and I was not disappointed. I had the green chilaquiles. By far the tastiest food I have had here in Dallas. We were great and staff was friendly. Our waiter was efficient and our food came out at a good time. I do wish my coffee was a bit warmer. Other than that everything was great. Can't wait to visit again and this time have sweet bread! read more

Almost an hour wait on a Saturday at noon but I think that was mostly bc of rain making the back patio unusable. The menu is limited but whatever they do have is good quality and portion. Very small space so probably not a great idea for a part of more than 6. read more

Such a cute local coffee breakfast place to go to in Dallas! I rated 4 only due to the parking experience but other than that I would have given 5 stars. The service was beyond amazing and the food was really good! My husband said he felt like he was in Mexico. I had the cafe de olla my fav! And chiquialles w green sauce my mouth was on fire but it was sooo good! Will definitely come back again! It's also a cute meeting place for business talk bc of the back patio area (during cooler temps). Very satisfied w my experience there and love recommending places like this one! read more

Que riquísimo! The food here was sooooo good. The salsa verde on the chillaquiles is a little bit on the spicier side, but you can tell it's sabrosa, not just a bunch of heat. It's so good. Parking was a little difficult. We just parked a block away and walked. But it's so worth it! Get on that waitlist and try this food! We only waited 35 minutes for a party of 2, and I would wait much longer-- it was that good! read more

Such a cute, authentic, and delicious spot! Went with the steak and eggs, which came with a side of potato too, and was extremely satisfied. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive. Great ambiance overall and plenty of drink choices when it comes to coffee and juices! read more
This place is fairly new and worth it. Parking is very tight but definitely worth the wait. The menu is both in English and Spanish with traditional Mexican dishes. Lots of different coffee choices and fresh fruit juice. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable of their menu items. Outside patio is beautiful with plenty of seating. read more

Every-time I dine here it gets better. This time around we indulged in the lunch options and were pleasantly surprised. Start off with a cinnamon oat milk latte and concha then change it up with De La Casa Pizza, you will be pleasantly surprised and satisfied. Was looking for a good breakfast restaurant and this was perfect for the whole family's cravings. I got the dulce de leche latte, was super sweet and yummy. The chorizo sandwich was so good and I would definitely get both things if I were to go back again. Our server was super friendly too and elevated the overall experience. We did have trouble finding parking but there was valet. Would definitely go again!!! read more

I've been here three times now! I never get tired of their menu. This is a small restaurant but has the most welcoming vibes the moment you step in as they greet you immediately. The hostess and really the entire staff are, inviting, attentive and the place is so clean! I love their chilaquiles de pollo with green salsa, their huevos rancheros have such great flavor and it comes with tortillas flour or corn of your choice. The parking is limited so I recommend you plan when you go to get a good parking space and wait less. Their iced lattes are a great choice for this hot summer! I had the caramel latte and my friend had an iced matcha with her addition of cinnamon. Totally recommend to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot! read more

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. Visiting from California we were looking for a small family owned establishment, no big chain restaurants and we found this gem. This is first of all so clean, everything is so orderly, I ordered the chilaquiles with the green salsa and wow, literally hit home. I felt like my gramma cooked this for me. Had the pancakes and they were so soft, fluffy, the compote was super delish and that pancake syrup? Can you sell that by the bottle please. Customer service was on point, so attentive, When I come back to Dallas I'm coming back. Keep up the good work. If you're ever visiting Dallas or live in Dallas, you need to stop by and support this amazing establishment. read more
