Originally giving this a 1 Star, I gave JINYA another chance. As you can see, everything has been updated on my review. The ramen is great, the service much improved. And is now one of my favorite places to eat. Highly recommend the spicy miso. read more

I always made a side trip to Jinya whenever i was downtown, so i am ecstatic to finally have Jinya near the Woodlands. It is the closest thing to the Ramen i loved in Tokyo, in Texas, and their Slight Americanization of their Ramen makes it even better than the real deal. The only problem i have here is deciding what to order - so i usually order a few Ramen bowls and enjoy them for days. Love love love it. Wish they would plop one into the heart of the Woodlands. read more

Better than your average top ramen. It's a cool looking place with always great service.

Man this place is great! Spicy chicken awesome! The spicy chicken ramen is sooo good! Get in here folks! Quick attentive service staff is great! I'll be back! read more

I love the atmosphere the service was really exceptional. The ramen was delicious. I would recommend this this place any day of the week. The only knock I could give on this place is that the price can go up very quickly. read more

So much salt. It was tasty but they use wayyyyyy too much salt. I constantly was asking the waiter to refill my water glass. The waiter we had was pretty bad. I had to wave him down about 4 times because he just wouldn't check on us. The atmosphere was cool but seating was very odd. I didn't like sitting so close to strangers. Don't go here if you like your personal space. Probably won't be back. read more

So good! The Spicy Chicken Ramen hits the spot every time. And the appetizers were great, too.

This is our go to restaurant!! The spicy vegan ramen bowl (which I get without spice) is my choice of comfort food. Fast, friendly service and the setting is one unique enough to remember. I'd recommend this place to my Omni and vegan friends alike... read more

Repeat customer but first time at this location in spring wood! It was great! My server Rachel was the best! She was all smiles and super helpful, she stayed on top of our refills and cleaned off our table which I love since they are quite small! The food of course was wonderful! Love the spicy chicken ramen and thanks to Rachel we have some new favorite items that she recommended to us! Keep up the wonderful work! It's appreciated. read more

I went with the chefs special which was a beef broth with spicy meat balls, sprouts, green onions and thicker noodles! It was great for what I expected. I wish I would have gotten a side order of noodles towards the end I was left with a bowl of mostly sprouts. read more

Favorite please to go eat for a fact! Staff is extremely friendly and very attentive. I return for the awesome food and excellent service! Their double inferno spicy chicken ramen is very flavorful along with their jinya bun. All around recommend it for really any occasion. I eat at least there at least once a week! read more

We love the ramen here in addition to all the other items! Each time we go the wait staff is amazing. The only complaint is the community table settings. My family, a 12 and 5 year old, with my husband were seated on an inappropriate couples date on a Monday night. They took no consideration to the people around them. read more

JINYA is our favorite ramen place in the area. The Tongkatsu Spicy and Tongkatsu Black are our favorite. Broth is so delicious but oily so be careful. Noodles were chewy and the seaweed salad was also very good. JINYA bun was a little dry but the meat tastes very good. Would recommend! read more

Had two great meals here. Cauliflower dish was spectacular. The Brussels sprout ramen was great ordered small noodles and my kids loved the gyoza. We will be back and bringing friends. Nice add to the Holzwarth area. I would say call ahead or reserve during busy times. read more

What a disappointment. My husband and I recently moved to the area and the first time we tried to go here in the evening, there was a line out the door and a 50 minute wait. We thought it must be good, so we went back during lunchtime. To say the food is mediocre would be an overstatement. Our server was hurried and seemed irritable, and you should know they upcharge for EVERYTHING. Substitute scallions for spinach (even though scallions are cheaper on the menu)? They charge. After we ordered, the food came out in under 3 minutes- definitely not cooked-to-order. I had the wonton ramen with chicken broth and it was the greasiest, saltiest bowl of ramen I've ever had. Definitely not the complexity of flavors, spices, and meats that good, quality ramen has. The wontons inside the soup were equally salty and one-note, and the entire bowl was just a bland, oily disaster. This place is the McDonald's of ramen restaurants. Eat there at your own risk. read more

Although the food is very good. I've only eaten there twice. My tongue goes numb. I got the Seaweed Salad, Veggie Ramen, the 1st time ...the second time I got seaweed salad and rice. My husband got the Wong Tong Ramen both Times. I believe there is something in the Wong Tong Raman that makes my tongue numb. Although I would like to eat there. I'm in fear of an allergy. read more

Service - strong. good server and overall staff coverage. Very west coast feel. Like the uniform. Thx for having servers. Food - if you don't like you food - you just ordered wrong. We tried a wide variety of menu options on the ramen side and all were solid. Menu says spicy sometimes but do not be fooled - it largely not. What won me over best was the noodles. They have 2 kinds (thank you) and both were solid. Interior- trendy and clean. Good job. Only hesitation is the cost. 88 for lunch for 4 feels high. That being said we will be back. Have to try the Curry rice next time. read more

The ramen is really good! The servers are also very nice. I would definitely recommend it and go again:)

Headed back to eat here again!! Went twice last weekend!! Love this place!!! Food is awesome!!!!

The food was on point. But the service wasn't what I expected. Our waiter checked on us maybe twice. We had to flag down another waiter at one point. read more

JINYA Ramen Bar - Woodlands - Ramen Near Me - Spring, Texas

So glad to have a good ramen place in the Woodlands! Came in on the day it was opened, and have come back twice since then. I am so happy to finally have a Jinya close to home after going to the one in Midtown so often. Ramen is as good as the one in midtown and doesn't disappoint. Ambience is very nice, warm, and modern. I've tried almost all of the flavors and they are all very good, even the vegan option. My personal favorite is the spicy chicken ramen which I always substitute with thick noodles. read more

Amazing vegetarian ramen! Good amount, the spice level "hot" was perfect. The location is lively, it was busy for lunch but without a wait time read more

The spicy creamy vegan ramen is amazing I absolutely loved it and my friend also loved the spicy chicken ramen she got.

A very cool ramen bar the food is excellent and the service is pretty good reasonably priced but this is a small restaurant you're going to wait if you have a party of 5 read more

I had the chicken ramen and it was so good! Our bartender was Jess and she helped us with the menu and sake options. We will be back!

Food was great. Server wasn't very attentive. Had to call over other waiters to help. I'm guessing he was new or very young. He kept having to go and pick up his paper pad bc he kept forgetting it. Still tipped him decent. Because I know servers only make 2.15 an hour. Food was excellent amazing. I left full and satisfied. The cherry blossom was divine... so good!! We will be back. read more

Love!! So delicious! It even works well with delivery. I had the Tonkatsu Black Ramen. So delicious! The seasoned egg is my absolute favorite part. read more

We dined at Jinya tonight for the first time and loved everything about the experience. The decor and ambiance are on point. The server was knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide our choices when asked. Even our kids liked their selections... one of my kids declared this is where she wants to go for her birthday dinner! Highly recommend! read more

So good. We were seated right away and our food was great. Our server was on point. We had such a nice time here and would go back.

Not as good as some other places I have been to for ramen. The broth not as good. Tonkotsu didn't even come with egg. Also prices are a higher than others. read more

Same ramen place as downtown, shorter limited menu compared to what I'm used to. Service was ok. Food is very good. They should offer more variety as other branches. read more

Aww man I love this place. My brother told me about and I had to try it. My family and I ate here and im a picky person. The food was hot and tasty, nice service time, friendly staff. You gotta try the spice chicken Ramen noodles. This is my top 5 places to eat in 2018 read more

Love this place. Always clean and the food is consistent and amazing! We will absolutely be back soon!

Trying Jinya for the first time right now...delicious food and drinks! I will be back

Wanted to try this place. Nice ambiance inside, friendly wait staff, but the food was much too salty for me. Had the tangy shrimp ramen bowl & the crispy chicken appetizer. Way over priced for a bowl of ramen noodles with 4 shrimp; $12.95. And, the chicken was over cooked for my liking (chewy & hard to pull apart). Very little flavor, overpowered by salt & expensive for what you get. Sorry to say, won't be going back. read more

Always delicious food with a welcoming and friendly staff, a regular visit for me. The Tonkatsu spicy is usually my go-to choice, make sure to ask for "inferno" if you are something of a heat seeker. read more

I used to work and live in the city and Jinya was one of my favorite go-to restaurants. I recently moved out to Spring and I am so happy that Jinya opened up a spot close by. The food is always phenomenal. I order pretty much every time the Jinya Chicken Ramen with added toppings, the Tuna Tacos, and the Quinoa Salad. read more

This place is so good, walked in right before closing and everyone was so nice. The tonkatsu ramen was excellent. Will definitely be going back soon! read more

So glad there is finally a good ramen shop in Spring! I always love going to Jinya and now I don't have to make the drive to midtown. I got the new shrimp cilantro ramen and it was on point like everything else. Very flavorful. Also got the new shrimp balls and the takoyaki as appetizers and both were great. I will be eating there often since it's close to home :) read more
