    Chicken wonton Ramen
    Richard C.

So I recently came here on Wednesday and I seen this place before back in Arizona never tried to until I moved here and I got seated right away got water. The guy I have was very nice. Suggested what I want to eat and asked me if I had any allergies which is very thoughtful I got the wonton chicken Ramen, which was very delicious and with the side of rice and fresh garlic, which was good. I enjoyed so much and I got extra noodles as well too. That made me happy I will continue to come over here.

Loved it! On the pricey side($20 per ramen bowl) but the portions were generous. Kids enjoyed the kids meal that comes with a lollipop and icecream. Loved my creamy vegetarian ramen. The spicy chicken ramen had plenty of meat as well. Ambience is typical for a taken place. Nothing fancy but spacious and clean. Parking is plenty and the service was quick as well. I really did not find anything to complain about this place. Definitely coming back.

I've been to this location multiple times and always get the Spicy Chicken Ramen. Its a must try. The only feedback I would give the team is about their main door. Everytime it opens a gush of cold air freezes everyone inside. They can construct another another door and space between the 2 doors to avoid this like a lot of places do. This will improve customer experience.

    - Disappointing yuzu shio [Update from June 2025] - Food: 3 stars Price: 2 stars Service: 2 stars Ambiance: 3 stars Overall: 2.5 stars It's super strange but this side of the mall have really slow business, so it's something when this place lasted so long despite management changes several times.. their menu seems slightly different again from the last time I came here. My husband ordered the JINYA tonkotsu black for $20 and I got the chicken yuzu shio delight for $20. The prices are higher than other places by a dollar or two. We asked low sodium for both bowls, and his was fine. Mine barely had any yuzu taste. The soup also wasn't very refreshing like the one from kizuki. The portion wasn't particularly big to reflect the $1 or $2 difference from other places either, so it was quite disappointing. I think the vegan ramen I had last time was much better, and this one just made me never want to come back again. I guess I will go elsewhere for shio ramen, such as kizuki or santouka. Overall the dining experience was fine, we finished eating in less than 30 minutes and the ramen came out fast as they don't usually have much business before noon on weekdays. However, the waiter gave us the bill but never checked on us even though I put down my cc right in front of his face. I went to the bathroom and it's still not touched, so I had to wave him down for it. I'd say the service is also lacking as well. I guess we will come back in a year to see how things are if they can keep surviving lol...

Ramen was delicious! Quantities were super filling, loved both the spicy and creamy broths.

Loved the ramen, very flavorful broth and noodles. Salmon sushi was amazing, along with the Kiwi sparkler!! Servers were so kind and treated us like family!! Overall very comforting environment.

Been to Jinya probably around 5 times now and it's always been good! Just a good place with good ramen and lots of parking space. I got a regular sized Chicken Chashu bowl and it was well portioned with a good ratio of rice, meat and veggies. Service is fast and there's lots of seating available inside. The place is also clean.

It's my second most favorite ramen bar in the Seattle area and the food is always great. I especially appreciate the quick and efficient service

We moved from Las Vegas to Southern WA and Jinya was our go to spot for so long, so it's become a real treat when we find ourselves far enough north to get it. The food was soooo good. The creamy vegan broth (I sub my pork broth for it) is killer. And whatever sauce they're using on the salmon don is mouthwatering good. It was fairly busy on a Sunday evening so we got seared at the little bar area. It was pretty cozy and the service was great. They were on top of everything from start to finish. Love it!

My sister and I decided to try this place for lunch and we both thought it was ok. The service was average, the person who took our answer couldn't really answered any of our questions and they didn't really do much. Food wise, we got: Tonkotsu 2.0 ramen + pork chasu rice bowl combo Ramen - the broth was supposed to be thicker but I didn't think so, and for me, it got saltier as I eat more of it so not my favorite. Rice bowl was standard - it was fine, but nothing really stood out. The salad that came with the rice bowl was pathetic looking though and didn't taste that good. Price is a little high in my opinion for what you get but it could be because of inflation these days. $18 for the ramen and $11.5 for the small rice bowl --- for me, it would be more reasonable if the ramen was like $15 and the rice bowl was $9... Overall, eh.

    JINYA Tonkotsu Black
    Erin H.

JINYA Tonkotsu Black is the way to go. Really good flavor in the broth and the meat was nice and tender. Egg and noodles had good consistency too. Definitely the best ramen I've had on the Eastside! I had Ramen Danbo recently, and I think the quality and flavor of my Tonkotsu Black was the same! But this saves me the trouble of going to Seattle and waiting in that line! Will definitely be coming back again, and I've already recommended to a lot of my friends! Small place, but enough seats that I wouldn't expect it to get TOO busy with the location it's at. Parking is free and plentiful

I love their ramen here, the original 2010 ramen had thick noodles with chashu slices. Very balanced yet rich dish, great to visit with friends for a casual or nice lunch! Very nice staff

    Akshay S.

A decent ramen place. We tried the spicy vegan ramen and spicy chicken ramen. The spice levels were not that hot so you can go for more spice level. Also, I found the broth low on flavour and that's why 3 stars. Had to add a lot of hot & sour sauce to get sone flavour. The service is quick and ambience is okayish. This place is definitely not value for money.

Here's the scenario. I'm recovering from surgery and have major dietary restrictions (liquids only), so I think, okay, I want to have a meal with friends and not have it be awkward so let's go to a soup place. I asked for just broth and was informed that they could do that but I'd have to pay the full price for a bowl of ramen. "Okay," I say, "fine, can you please just bring broth?" Yes. What I got was a bowl of ramen with noodles and the toppings on the side. I sent it back saying I couldn't have the noodles and could I please have what I ordered, which was just broth? Sure. So they bring back the bowl less than half full of broth with noodles on the side. Argh. At this point it was getting embarrassing for me so I just dealt with it and spent the meal pissed off that I was paying full price AND the staff were anti customer service. Beware. Unless you're ordering exactly off the menu and have no special requests, STEER CLEAR of Hokkaido Ramen Santoku.

I don't remember what I ate at the time but I do remember Kizuki having pretty salty ramen, and that still holds up today. I know there is an option to order low sodium and/or order a clear broth to dilute it, but I completely forgot. I got the garlic tonkotsu ramen and it was super good! I can see why it's super popular. I will say I wasn't a fan of the jasmine milk tea, it was way too sweet while simultaneously too milky- otherwise everything was fine. The waiters were polite and lenient with my preferences and gave excellent service, no complaints there. I came in on a Tuesday or Wednesday at 2:00 ish by myself, so it wasn't crowded. I can't say for weekends but judging by other reviews the waitlist can take a while (not sure if it's different if you come on a weekend but by yourself). There were some people there hanging out over ramen and some people working on their laptops, so it was the perfect environment to get work done (not sure if wifi is free though) and/or chat with friends without having to raise your voice. Everything was fantastic except my friend left a special present that she received from me behind accidentally. Update: we called staff and with great thoroughness they even checked and confirmed that we had actually left with the gift box, and with that we were able to confirm that we would have left it at the next venue we went to for dessert. With relief we found it and grateful to Alan for reaching out and letting us know so we could continue our search more fruitfully. Such an excellent experience with the staff at this store.
