They were not exaggerating about their good broth, fresh noodles, and generous portions. I was super pleasantly surprised! Casual mom and pop ramen spot located in an unassuming strip plaza. Parking is limited but seldom full. Service was quick. I got the Black Tonkotsu Ramen per my server's recommendation and it was super satisfying. Broth was fragrant and noodles were tender; perhaps a bit softer than I'd prefer, but no complaints. Soy marinated egg was jammy and yum. Tons of customization options on the menu, but I opted to keep it as is. I'll be back!

This spot have potentials for sure! And there arent many ramen spot in Issaquah. Service was great; server was very pleasant and the food came out in timely manner and i think its reasonably priced as well. The foods has potentials and deff should be develop further. What we got: Black Tonkotsu Ramen (3/5) I think it needs to be more rich and garlicy; need that black garlic punch. I think its either the tonkotsu broth is too light or the "tare" is too weak. This ramen could pass as a regular tonkotsu ramen. Tempura udon (2.5/5) The dish as a whole looks great. The tempura was oke; its your usual tempuras you can get anywhere else. The udon was mehhh; need to work on for sure. Its very basic and at one point it feels like we are eating instant udon noodle soup. Maybe develop the broth further for a deeper flavor and more umami. Chicken Kaarage (3/5) We have a mix feeling about this one; it looks good for sure; but i think the chicken needs more flavor. Its very basic. Yakitori Chicken (3.5/5) For what it is; it has good flavor. Did not expect it to be ground chicken tho; i thought it would be chicken pieces. Flavor was not bad. Overall Its a very Well priced menu and good service. I think the food have plenty of room for improvements and they have the potential to be really good. As of now; i say its very mid ramen spot; and i'll edit this review when i get the chance to try it again in the near future.

I passed by this place multiple times and decided to finally stop in and try. I ordered the shoyu ramen and added corn, and was a little underwhelmed. I didn't find the broth to be as seasoned or flavorful as I'm used to. It was very clear tasting, but not as rich as some I've tried. As far as ramen goes, it was fine but I won't go out of my way to come back here (plus this lot is always hit or miss if you can find parking, so that in itself is a deterrent).

Friendly service and delicious ramen. Broth was so flavorful. Generous noodle portion, wished there was more protein but egg was perfectly cooked. Issaquah was missing a place like this. Good for families.

We noticed this newly opened ramen place while driving in the area last week and came to try it over the weekend. We ordered a chicken katsu curry and the classic tonkotsu ramen. The curry had actual potato and carrot chunks in it and the chicken katsu was crispy and the egg was beautifully done. We only wished there was a little more curry sauce in the dish. The ramen broth was delicious and we loved all the toppings it came with. We will definitely be back!

A newly opened ramen shop that completely exceeded my expectations. The black garlic tonkotsu ramen features a rich, flavorful broth. As with traditional Japanese style, the sliced pork is meant to be soaked in the soup first--warm, tender, and melting in your mouth. The curry chicken cutlet is excellent as well. The Japanese curry is mild rather than spicy, with a smooth, well-balanced flavor. The chicken cutlet is crispy, and the fried egg is soft and silky. The takoyaki is delicious, and the pickled cucumbers are refreshing and appetizing. The service is warm and friendly, and the environment is clean and well-kept.

The udon was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely come back.

Not very authentic Japanese ramen, and the soup is not hot enough. Also, the service is so so.

The Seared Ahi appetizer we ordered was incredibly fishy, pungent, and clearly not fresh. Definitely the worst dish we ordered. Spring rolls were whatever. The 2 sushi rolls (Ocean Queen and Outstanding I think) were not good either, but not terrible. These were edible and a relief to eat after the Seared Ahi monstrosity. I was feeling nauseous, but my mom wanted to order an udon to offset the fishiness of the ahi. I told her it'd be a bad idea since I couldn't imagine the udon would be any good either, but she said "How can they mess up udon? It's an easy dish to make." Turns out, you can mess up udon. The noodles were overcooked and limp. At the end of the meal, I was queasy af and disappointed. It's not a super cheap place either, so we dropped like $120 on an abomination of a meal. Service was good though, and the servers were nice. I will not be coming back due to the food quality and taste, but the service and ambiance were solid.

I ordered a miso ramen and my parents ordered the tonkatsu ramen. As someone from the Bay Area, I was so surprised by the richness of the ramen and it definitely beats some of my usual spots. Each bowl was ~$15 and a smaller bowl, so would definitely advise getting an extra batch of noodles. The chashu is melt in your mouth tender. The broth wasn't very salty or over complicated itself with a burst of spices, but highlighted the simplicity of a good ramen, tasting the long simmer of the pork. My dad was honestly pretty pissed circling around the area for an hour for parking, but said it was all worth it, even waiting in a long line.

I don't remember what I ate at the time but I do remember Kizuki having pretty salty ramen, and that still holds up today. I know there is an option to order low sodium and/or order a clear broth to dilute it, but I completely forgot. I got the garlic tonkotsu ramen and it was super good! I can see why it's super popular. I will say I wasn't a fan of the jasmine milk tea, it was way too sweet while simultaneously too milky- otherwise everything was fine. The waiters were polite and lenient with my preferences and gave excellent service, no complaints there. I came in on a Tuesday or Wednesday at 2:00 ish by myself, so it wasn't crowded. I can't say for weekends but judging by other reviews the waitlist can take a while (not sure if it's different if you come on a weekend but by yourself). There were some people there hanging out over ramen and some people working on their laptops, so it was the perfect environment to get work done (not sure if wifi is free though) and/or chat with friends without having to raise your voice. Overall I rate four stars; good food, good service, and an okay drink. I packed up the broth for home and mixed the leftover with instant ramen, it was delicious!

Everything was fantastic except my friend left a special present that she received from me behind accidentally. Update: we called staff and with great thoroughness they even checked and confirmed that we had actually left with the gift box, and with that we were able to confirm that we would have left it at the next venue we went to for dessert. With relief we found it and grateful to Alan for reaching out and letting us know so we could continue our search more fruitfully. Such an excellent experience with the staff at this store.
