Jinjee is fantastic! This was my first KBBQ experience and definitely did not disappoint! I'm not usually a fan of super meat-focused meals but I would absolutely do this again. Our server was wonderful and attentive and cooked our food to seared perfection. The banchan was balanced, bursting with flavor, and had enough variety for everybody. We had a huge group of 10 people and sat comfortably in the back of the restaurant. The restaurant is also HUGE and has a beautiful and clean aesthetic. I would highly recommend the Jinjee set and ANY of the cocktails!

Phenomenal experience at Jinjee for weekend lunch, what a treat. The main food comes in sets, and we got the Jinjee set which comprised of American wagyu, pork jowl, and pork belly plus of course ban chan and matcha soft serve for dessert. Our server was truly exceptional - she grilled every piece to perfection, to our liking (medium rare), and with great attention to detail, offering unobtrusive tips for which meats to add a light touch of salt, or other condiments to complement and enhance the flavor profile. The drinks were also fantastic - got one of the high balls and lychee martini. Overall great value meal. Would be amazing to come back on a weekday sometime for the lunch deal!

Food was fine. You're assigned someone to help grill the meat for you throughout the e tire meal, literally. Which might be good or bad depending on the scenario you're hoping for this meal.

Fantastic KBBQ! The interior is extremely spacious and modern and beautiful. The sets are a great deal, and my go-to is the Jinjee set. Great meat quality, and unlimited banchan and rice is always wonderful. Each dish tastes delicious, including the a la carte menu items like gochujang jjigae and all the appetizers. The complimentary soft serve at the end is a nice touch. The staff are all friendly, and I'll be going back often!

This restaurant stands out! The quality of the food and the service were both excellent. The staff prepared the meat for you, and there are three set options to choose from. We chose the Jinjee set which was perfect portion for two. The Banchans and accompaniments were all delicious. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try! It's unfortunately getting very popular that you will need to make a reservation a day in advance.

The service was overall good. With such a large place the wait staff needs to speak up. We barely could hear her speak. The food was very good. A bit expensive but the quality was respectful.

Our new fav kbbq place in Allston! We ordered the Jinjee set, Yukhoe Bibimbap, and Gochujang Jjigae. There was plenty of food for four people. The meat was high quality, the service was very friendly, they perfectly cooked all of our meats, and the side dishes were deliciously spot on. We came to celebrate a special occasion and the staff at Jinjee made the evening feel especially special and festive. We also appreciated the unique seasonings and accompaniments to our meal. The quality and standards of this kbbq establishment rival those of LA and NYC, and we can't wait to visit again!

Great food and service, got the jinjee set + definitely will come back to try the other ones!

Best pork we ever had. Services is fantastic and every attentive. The side dishes are awesome. We orders the JinLee set for two and it's more than we can eat. Ordered the cold noodle which is also very goo

    Banchan

I ordered the jinjee set for two, which was $120 in total. The meat tasted pretty good but the amount of meat I got was so disappointing for the amount of money I spent. You can see in the picture how little the amount is. The service is also overbearing because the server is constantly next to you grilling the meat when I just would rather cook the meat myself and enjoy private time with my family. The only silver lining is that the banchan (basically same as sanbada) is excellent. I just felt that I had to give an honest review among the sea of influencer opinions.

We had a great experience here! The quality of both the beef and pork was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully marbled. The side dishes were also delicious, with a great variety that complemented the meal really well. The only small downside was that some of the meat ended up slightly overcooked, but it was still very tasty overall. Service was attentive, and we'd definitely come back for another meal. Highly recommend!

Went back again yesterday since they're fully opened now and had the best time! Our server Min was such a hoot, he was very entertaining and explained everything on the menu really well. He also made sure our banchan (which is the best banchan we've ever had a Korean restaurant!) was always refilled immediately when we were running low. The service here was top notch all around; even when he had to step away for something, another waiter would step up right away to help with the cooking or checking if we needed anything. Because of this, the food never burned and was cooked perfectly. We tried the Sura set this time and it was definitely worth it! The Wagyu steaks were melt-in-your-mouth buttery. The American boneless short rib Wagyu was top tier quality, almost thought it was Japanese A5 Wagyu. We also got to try the Doenjang Jjigae which was so flavorful and delicious. You will never leave here hungry, that's for sure! Can't wait to come back again soon.

One of their signature cocktail. Forgot the name.

The great thing isn't only the food, I simply loved the customer service here. You'll be treated like a special guest or some VIP customer like in fancy restaurants. Definitely worth a nice tip. We found KChickin nearby on Peterborough Street and they're open until 9:30pm. We walked quickly over as hunger is a good motivator to walk fast. The restaurant has takeout but offered enough space to hold three famished Fenway newbies. Service was quickly and friendly and the food was served fairly quickly. Seems like most restaurants begin at the suggested 18% tip to start. Some calculate their tipping suggestions at your subtotal before adding the taxes to your bill. This restaurant included the taxes as part of its tip calculation so be aware that you're actually tipping more than 18%. FYI: as a customer, you decide how much to tip for quality service. Bringing your orders to your table is basic. How many times they filled your water cups and check up on you are important and expected. Tipping is not automatic in my humble opinion. Servers who work diligently for their tips so tip accordingly to those who provided a great dining experience.

The restaurant focuses mostly on soba or udon noodle dishes with a good selection between hot and cold options. It's not going to be the best udon or soba you've ever had. HOWEVER, I tried the cold ikura & uni cold soba and LOVED it. It's seasonal, so I tried that one out and was extremely surprised about how much I enjoyed the bowl. Not too much soup and the uni didn't completely obliterate when I stirred it up. They do use American wasabi though, and I found it superfluous to the dish and wished it was served on the side. But regardless, despite not having some extremely high quality noodles, the flavor and experience of the bowl itself was super pleasant. I ended up coming back the very next day because I wanted to try their clam soba. The clam soba only comes hot, which is a bit unfortunately because I actually think a cold clam soba with some lemon or yuzu would be phenomenol. I've been seeing recipes for it online so I've been wanting to try it, but their clam soba is a lot more standard and hot. They had a very good amount of clams in it, but I generally like their cold soba better. Still good, but didn't give me that feeling of needing to come back the very next day like I did with the ikura-uni combo. Overall, I'd still come back when I'm in downtown!

We ordered the cheese topokki (soft rice cake, fish cake, vegetable, & mozzarella in Korean spicy sauce) & the beef bulgogi bowl (fried marinated beef, vegetables, steamed rice & side of soup). The cheese topokki was just as good as we remembered - chewy, flavorful, comforting, & a little bit weird. The cheese was poorly distributed, but it was still very tasty. The beef bulgogi bowl was really underwhelming. Firstly, it was very little food. We were promised vegetables, but there were only a few scarce onions & zucchini pieces mixed in. It was also dry. It was devoid of moisture & sauce, so we added some from the fridge at home. The side of soup was a joke. It filled only about 2/3 of the container & looked so sad, we wondered if it was the sauce that we we so desperately needed. Nope, just a meager amount of watered down miso soup. So the conclusion - great topokki, sub-par bulgogi, non-existent soup.

For the food, we got the tuna kimbap, Seoul toppoki, and bulgogi hot pot for two. Everything was SO good. The ingredients were fresh and the food was flavorful (sweet from the bulgogi, savory from the mushrooms, spicy from the toppoki sauce, salty from the tuna, and sour from the pickled vegetables). The price for the portion size was a great value and we ended the night feeling very full and even had to pack up an entire container of the hotpot for two that we didn't finish. Overall, we had a great time and I can't wait to come back again. This might be my new favorite Korean food spot in the Boston area.
