Food was good, nice home cook breakfast, service was alright not much interaction feel like there just trying to get their job done with no socializing. But overall recommended if you just trying to get a decent breakfast. read more

Brought out of town family for brunch and it was really good. The service was attentive and when I mentioned my pork intolerance they cooked my omelette separately. The portions are generous and tasty, lots of potatoes and toast or pancakes. My son really liked the pancakes but wished his OJ didnt have pulp. Overall a great choice for reasonable, delicious breakfast food in a very family friendly and cosy atmosphere. read more

The only thing good was the service. Not sure if we came at a bad time for the kitchen, but the food was awful. Potatoes weren't cooked all the way and had no flavor. Eggs and heavy tasted bad. This place is always busy so either they don't have taste buds or we just came when they were not on their game read more

There are NO vegetarian or vegan options at all here. So I just got the Greek salad. Should have just said feta and onions with "pita bread" that was a cracker on one side and playdoo on the other. The picture is left over cheese from me picking out the lettuce and so much cheese upset my stomach. Don't bother coming if you want something kinda healthy read more

Jim's - "Greek salad" should have called it onion and feta salad with gross bread - New American Near Me - American Fork, Utah

I LOVE the food here! The breakfast egg/ham/cheese sandwich is sooo good! The staff is always friendly, fast and the restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere. I eat here every chance that I get! read more

The restaurant was a bit dirty. Spider webs above one of the tables. Floor under my table was a mess. I ordered sunrise sandwich. It was good, but the potatoes it came with were flavourless. On a positive note, the service was really good and I didn't even have to wait 2 minutes before I was seated. read more

Jim's - With the fiance. Interesting picture behind her. - New American Near Me - American Fork, Utah

Came here on a Wednesday around 9am with a party of 8 and a baby and where seated promptly with quick service. I ordered the bacon avocado and light cheese omelet. I'm from cali so I expected a little more avocado but the price was really good around $9 so I didn't complain. The potatoes where shredded almost scalloped and fried in butter which was amazing but definately needed seasoning so I added a ton of their homemade salsa. Everyone ordered breakfast and enjoyed it. Coffee was good too. The only thing that wasn't good was the toast. Every single slice we got was too burned and most of us didn't touch it - what a shame because I love sourdough. Reasonable prices, decent service and cozy atmosphere so I'll be back again. read more

The management is great the serving staff is friendly and the Kitchen does top notch job. There are similar restaurants in town but unless you want to pay more and not be treated as well I am not sure why you would go to them! read more

Just had the best breakfast ever! Ordered the Scramble - scrambled eggs perfectly cooked with lots of delicious diced ham, crispy hash browns, and 2 huge golden pancakes. It was just what my tastebuds wanted! Big serving, reasonably priced, great service. I'll be back! read more

Classic diner, seriously awesome breakfast foods. Honestly the best waffles I've ever had, nice and crispy.

Large menu with lots of options but the food wasn't what I expected! Luke warm food and lacking in flavor. My menu had food debris on ever page. The service was good but kitchen couldn't keep up with the demand. read more

My family and I LOVE this place. We have gone a handful of times to this location and we will keep coming back. The price is great as the portion sizes are HUGE and we love the variety of kids meals to choose from. read more

Jim's Cowboys Breakfast is huge, filling & delicious. We come all the way from Duchesne to have it. If you can ask for Donna as your server. She is from the east and knows what you want before you even ask for it. She refills your drinks constantly and makes you feel you're at home. Way to go Donna. read more

This is a great old-fashioned restaurant that made the whole family happy. The 'Murica feeling was almost palpable in the air and our waitress looked as if she had walked out of a tv sitcom from the 1970s. We loved it. The food is actually better than you might expect for not being a yuppy hangout obsessed about fresh, local food. The chili verde burritos are to die for, not kidding, but try anything from the breakfast menu or a burger and you can't help but end up happy. And they are open on Sundays! read more

We usually pop in here for a quick evening breakfast. Tonight it was way off! We waited a long time for our food. It was funny because my Wife said waiting that long usually means cold food. When we told our waitress that the food was cold she placed blame on the cooks that something was going on with them. We mentioned it to the Manager and he shrugged his shoulders and said sorry and rang up the check. It will be a while before we go back. Poor customer service and below average food. read more

Consistently good. Great value. Nobody in the family ever is opposed to going to Jim's. Never had a bad meal at this place.

My family and I came here after a crazy day of helping my sister move from Boise to Utah, and we left very impressed. I'll be honest - this place doesn't look like much from the outside. It looks like a second-rate Dennys, which didn't exactly inspire my confidences in what the food or service was going to be like. However, as soon as we were seated and met our server Dylan, my expectations lifted - and those expectations were met above and beyond. I had a steak sandwich, fries, and chicken noodle soup. Each was delicious and filling, and had that "homemade" taste that places like this always claim they have but rarely ever do. Dylan was a friendly and attentive waiter without being overbearing, which was appreciated by my family of introverts. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Utah. read more

the service was fast but the food was lacking in tasting any special. also disappointed in the coffee. not worth the price of the taste of food we received. read more

The places was packed on a Sunday afternoon but we were seated quickly. The service was friendly and in no time I was brought a very large, delicious club sandwich. The fries were cooked perfectly. My boyfriend's French toast was amazing as well. I'm so pleased to have discovered this delightful place and even more happy they're open on Sundays! I look forward to returning. read more

Second time I've been at this location in the last 12 months. I came with my two lil' daughters, as we eat out quite a bit. Our server Kaytlin was okay. She didn't do anything wrong, just a bit slow. I ordered a 12oz. New York strip steak and I don't know what it was, but it didn't taste like a New York steak at all. Also, I told Kaytlin to bring it medium rare, but it arrived with almost no pink in the middle. It happens, I get it, but the meat just wasn't tasty... ... bleah ... ... Told Kaytlin to maybe bring me a burger, and that's where it kinda took her forever to get back to me... ... it was a normal Thursday morning, it wasn't packed or anything... ... Anyways, I don't know if it was her day that just was off, but it kinda destroyed my appetite and my vibe about eating out. When she finally got back to me, she asked if I had decided what I wanted... ... I told her that I was kinda done, to bring me the bill and that was that, it took too long for her to ask me what I wanted instead of hhe steak. I just wanted to go get some food FAST somewhere else. I don't know what it was, but certainly I am NOT planning to be back here... ... highly disappointed, unfortunately ! read more

Out of all the Jims around this one is my favorite one by far. The service was spectacular. We were seated within 5min. I love the pancakes here. I don't know what it is but I've had pancakes in other places and the ones at Jims are my ultimate favorite! The entire breakfast is like your momas cooking quiet delicious. It's got a friendly neighborhood feel to it. Great big windows throughout and the cutest little fireplace. I always have the New York steak, eggs and potatoes and it comes with pancakes. But there omelettes are also great. There over easy eggs are always made to perfection. I have never been disappointed by the food here. And best of all..... there prices are great and there menu is quiet large! Breakfast, lunch or dinner Jims is a for sure win. It's not a fancy place but it sure is a tasty place! Think of it as your cafeteria food kicked up two notches. read more

I just do not know what to say this place has outstanding flavor as well as outstanding service I can't say anything bad about. Take it back actually I was not a fan of the pancakes just because they seem to be quite raw. That is just unacceptable. read more

Best breakfast on a Sunday. We were extremely impressed with the service. We were sat down in just minutes for 2. The restaurant was packed and we can see why. Our female server Tyler was fantastic. She was quick and always checking on us for refills or if we needed anything. Compliments to the chef(s). We ordered the Chile verde skillet and pork chops and eggs. Great taste and the pork chops were juicy. Chili verde was very flavorful. Highly recommend going. We give it 5 stars. read more

Jim's is as classic American as you can get. If you love Denny's, but want to "keep it local" this is the place for you. Food is generally fine over all, I've been for breakfast meetings 4 times now and food is consistently decent. They have great diner coffee and do a good job keeping your cup full. read more

Honestly I love Jims. There's really not good breakfast places comparing Jims to IHOP or Denny's I would pick Jims anyway over those. I love the old diner feel with usually the costumers all being older, hahaha I love it though. The waitresses are all extra friendly and always really good. Never had order messed up or mixed up out of the million times I've been here. Now the food! Food is pretty good. It's greasy yes! And somethings you can tell aren't the highest quality but over all your gonna get your money's worth. You get ALOT of food for your money. I usually just get to egg special and comes with bacon and potatoes and pancakes! What keeps be coming back is those amazing pancakes and potatoes there great everytime. Me and my wife have gone here for years. I can say usually the staff is VERY NICE and the food is usually very good. But this morning was unacceptable. I found a big hair in my coffee while I was drinking it. Which is not a big deal. I jokingly just mentioned it to my waitress, and said I didn't even need a new cup. Accident happen i said. She said "oh I wonder who's hair that was?" And walked away. Then as I'm finishing my eggs I notice two big hairs on my plate. When she drops off the check I greet her with a smile and mention that the food was good although there was two other hairs in my food. I was VERY VERY friendly. She sarcastically says "um I can tell the manager to give you 10 percent off" and storms off. Then a nice blonde woman came up and said she will be our new waitress because our other one was mad at us. When we went to pay, no discount, no manager, nothing. We weren't expecting any handouts but the fact that she said she would do something, lied about it, talked trash on her customers, and then wasn't an adult enough to talk to us again, says a lot about her. We still left a 50% tip because she was probably having a bad day or something and because that will be the last time we will be eating there. She had a chance to make everything good by giving us the same respect we gave her. read more

We were so glad that the signage was so clear for Jim's off the Route 15 as we headed south from SLC. The staff, especially Laurie, our server, was great! We enjoyed the Denver omelet and the pancakes and eggs. The food was hot on arrival and Laurie was very attentive to our needs and questions. Thankful to know there are non-chain stops. Just recognize that you are in Utah and not in California getting special coffee, for this is Utah but the place itself is great, welcoming and clean. All was delicious. read more

If you like really heavy greasy spoon kind of food with mostly cheap ingredients, this is the place for you. They do actually use fresh mushrooms in their omelettes. The breakfast potatoes were quite good and made even better with fry sauce. My English muffin was soggy on the bottom and burnt on the top with margarine on it. The waitress was very nice. We come here occasionally for business meetings. read more

Tasteless potatoes, pre - fab ham, grumpy waitress. Would have been better off with bowl of Cheerios at home.

I ordered a to go order of eggs for $2. When I went to pick it up the lady was screaming at all the employees in front of me, then I didn't leave a tip and she continued to yell at me for not tipping on my $2 order. Completely rude and disrespectful and I will not support her or that restaurant ever again. read more

Great family atmosphere and really good food. We had the taco salad, it was really good, and soup with scones, another great choice.

I have driven by this place for many years, and today just seemed to be the day to stop in and give them a try. I was glad I did. We were greeted right upon entering and helped to our table where Jada, our waitress, promptly took our order. I ordered a country scrambler. The food was fantastic. Hit the spot. I could tell there were reals eggs used, with real potatoes as well. Nothing fake about this meal. I got a scone instead of toast, which to my surprised, was worth every penny. Jim's family restaurant got it right. From the decor to the clean restrooms. I will be back. read more
