The food was warm and good. The sign said to sit ourselves so we did then it took quite a while for someone to come by and give us water. We noticed the waitresses would talk to the local people quite a bit why we were waiting for extra water or other stuff. The ambiance was probably two out of five could've been better normal breakfast cafe . Overall the food was really good. That was the best part of all of it and for the price you can't beat it.

This restaurant was our favorite until a week ago on my birthday. They have always given away one meal to a birthday person, all you had to do was show them your driver's license. I was told they discontinued that. But that was okay, things change, and I had with me a gift certificate from my daughter for $25 at Jimmy's egg. Any Jimmy's egg anywhere! It's printed right there on the certificate! I was told when we started to pay with it that they don't accept it. My daughter was very upset and has tried and tried to get her money back. We had to pay for our own breakfast, which made her very unhappy. She wanted to treat us to our favorite breakfast place. We will not be going there anymore!

3 1/2 Stars. This is a great solid breakfast choice. Service was good and food was above expectations. If we had these in our area I would be a regular. With 9 people on our party we pretty much had a little of everything. Breakfast meat choices were good. Biscuits and gravy a+. Cost wise we spent about $10 a person. So just know that in advance.

I typically don't venture out to Jimmy's Egg because usually I'm working or asleep during their normal hours. Today a friend met me for a meeting and wanted to do it here so I obliged him. Service was good and they were attentive to us. Actually they asked my friend on multiple occasions if he needed more coffee which is nice until about the 10th time over 15 minutes but that's alright. My food was good but the bacon was a little more crispy than normal but it's bacon and I enjoyed it nonetheless. Overall not a bad experience but not amazing either. I have friends that love Jimmy's but it's just not for me. Different strokes for different folks!

If you want a great breakfast with a classic diner feel, then Jimmy's Egg is the place. Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Without a doubt it's my favorite place to get breakfast. Best of all, it's super cheap. My family of three can usually get out for less than $15 total, and one time our total ticket was only $9.85. Rock bottom, baby! They're only open through lunch, so don't expect to hit the place up for dinner.

My daughter loves the hot chocolate. Mostly because they are overly generous with the whipped cream!

Jimmy's Egg is consistently good. I always order the same thing and I always enjoy it; meat lovers omelette, no cheese, egg whites only. It is flavorful and a generous portion even though it's egg whites only. Jimmy's has that small town diner feel. There's a real sense of community when you walk in. The wait staff are courteous, attentive, and genuinely warm. There's a regular crowd each Friday morning and it just feels like a place you have always known.

    Good food great prices.

I personally think the cheapo biscuits and gravy is plenty for a filling breakfast, but some days you want cheese and meat so you get the debris for a bit more money.

We have tried most every place in Edmond and NW OKC and there are several very fine places to be sure. But, we finally tried Press & Plow and could not be more impressed. First it has a very delightful interior. Modern and sleek but somehow homely, too. Very comfortable. But with the high metal ceiling it can get a little loud when there is a crowd. The there is the service. Very cordial, knowledgeable and attentive staff. Smiles all the way around. And, finally the food. Well prepared and delicious. At my last visit I had the Benedict Skillet which was fantastic. Poached eggs were perfect. And few restaurants can do that around here. The dish was seasoned with just the right balance of Tabasco, cayenne and salt. Balance is another attribute that not everyone can do well. And price is inline with most everyone else. I hope you give this a try and come away with similar experiences. Thanks to the establishment, staff and management for giving me a great new alternative for breakfast.

My favorite is the cookie monster, because I'm obsessed with biscoff cookies! Now, the food - get their massively huge pancakes. It's well worth it. We've tried a bunch of different things here and they are just okay. For the price you pay, I think their food could use a little more flavor. But the pancake, the pancake they've definitely perfected. Service is alright too - can be pretty slow on some days. It is a little tight inside, especially when it gets busy so just a heads up on that.

The entrance has had a light refresh as well. Gone is the big glass dessert display case but the additional walking space is nice. Sadly we learned that the cakes are being discontinued, RIP the wonderful carrot cake. Fortunately we snagged one of the last pieces. It's my understanding that cookies and other sweet treats will still be available. The menu is loaded with new and exciting choices. Deciding what to choose was a great problem to have. We started with the Trio Dipper with house made chips and balloon bread, which is like pita bread on steroids and just as delicious. The dip selections were terrific and we were brought more chips when ours ran low. Two of us ordered the Tuscan Chicken. They were exceptional bites. They were parmesan breaded chicken fritters stuffed with the tomatoes and cheese. It's an inventive take on a traditional recipe and a tasty home run! My husband ordered the Chicken Piccata, looking for a lower calorie option. The lemon butter wine sauce was delicious and it's a terrific option. The last guest chose the fried chicken which is an old and familiar favorite. You absolutely cannot go wrong. We ended the night sharing a piece of carrot cake and a salted caramel cookie.
