I don't know why , but Waffle House always seems to make me happy. I recently moved to Mustang from Las Vegas where we don't have a Waffle House . I always go to at least one when I visit the Carolinas and have never had a bad meal or bad experience. I've been to the other location in Yukon twice and this was my first time at this one. Since I was by myself I sat at the counter. It was busy , probably the after church crowd. Elle greeted me and I ordered since I already knew what I wanted , All American Breakfast is my go to. I may change it a little , but it's what I always get. Years ago in the North Carolina my son got the Bacon Cheeseburger and it was really good. I will get that one day for lunch. Anyway , the staff was busy cooking and washing dishes and since I was at the end of the counter by the register I was right in the middle of everything. Ha ha. Elle was really good about saying Hi to everyone that walked in the door. They did a great job of cleaning the tables so they would be available for the next guests coming in and of course the counter. Elle checked on me several times and let me know my order would be up shortly. I understood it was busy and lots of customers came in before me , so I had no problem waiting. I got Ham , Scrambled Eggs , Grits , Toast , Waffle , and a Mr Pibb. Grits were cooked perfectly , Scrambled Eggs were good and a little fluffy , Waffle was on point as usual , Toast was a little over toasted but it was okay. I should've got Bacon instead of the Ham. I forgot it's the slice of thick ham like you make a sandwich with not the bone-in type slice of ham. The Ham tasted okay , but not what I wanted. From what I understand not all Waffle House locations do a Military Discount , but this one does which I appreciate as a Veteran. $13 for breakfast is a good deal. I would recommend this location , but I personally think I like the vibe a little better at the Westmark Drive location. Either way you can't go wrong at a Waffle House. I will take it over Cracker Barrel or Huddle House , etc. read more

I wrote off Waffle House years ago from a bad experience in KC. My husband and I tired this one on a whim and was so pleasantly surprised. It was clean, food was fresh and warm. Prices were unbelievable! And our waitress made the whole experience even better. I'm now a new fan. Risa was our waitress and was so sweet, accommodating and really took care of all her customers from what we saw. Amazing experience, will return for sure. read more

No Hot Chocolate No Hot Syrup -apparently so the waitress says they got sued for serving hot something to a man who apparently got a huge settlement. Tables weren't ready for us so waited a bit for them to clean it up, finally sat down and didn't bother to get our drinks they were too busy arguing and talking to other customers who were already there. After a long flight and famished Morgan our server was a gem! She was so kind and sweet. Extremely short staffed with only one person on the grill and her working the entire front of the house she was completely overwhelmed but held together like a champ. This place can be hit or miss with food and service. I've been there a couple times and the order was wrong simply because she wasn't paying attention and I never could get her to fix it but they sure charged me for triple hasbrowns while only giving half an order. Other times, the food overflows the pate and it's zippy fast and friendly service. The cleanliness is lacking, but some days are better than others. The biscuits and gravy are decent but stay away from the chili! I think I saw it moving on its own in the cup and it possibly even asked me to put it out of its misery. It went down the garbage disposal to the land of misfit foods. The burgers.. well, sometimes they're good and other times, not so much. The bacon is cooked perfectly but it has always had a strange taste to me. My son loves their waffles but I'm not a fan of chewy waffles. The sunnyside up eggs and hashbrowns are my favorite. Yukon has the best Waffle House right off the highway and so easy to get to. Timed it just right around 11 and got quick service and had it ready in a few minutes. Large enough to be shared and included 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon and their famous waffle and toast. Will return soon! read more

This Waffle House is the best place to grab breakfast/brunch in Yukon. There is sometimes a wait for a seat, but not often because they turn tables so quickly. It's quick, cheap, and the service is always great. They make everything to order. It's Waffle House, so you know you aren't going to get anything fancy. But it's breakfast. Love Waffle House. We usually go when traveling since we don't have one near us. I had a hashbrown cheese steak bowl with melted cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms! Smothered, Covered & Capped! Crispy hashbrowns please!! Waffle House has some of the best coffee!! We usually get some whole beans to take home. I could only eat half! Serving portions are plenty! 2 people could definitely split a meal! That would make for an inexpensive meal as the prices are so reasonable anyway! Stopped here to kill time before a flight out of OKC, waitress was great! Chatted with us and we had so much in common! I've been enjoying the foo here ever since they opened. The food is always great, and served with a smile. My favorite breakfast is the [tender] steak and eggs. Served with toast and hash browns. My only complaint is that during rush hours, your order comes at different times rather than all at once. My daughter ordered a Waffel, bacon and hash browns...scattered, smothered. First came the waffel, then the hash browns. Then came the bacon, minutes later. With the cold temperature in the dinner, your food gets cold before you get all of your order. BTW, the reason Waffel Houses are always so cold, is so customers will eat fast, and leave, freeing up tables for customers arriving. read more

When we walked in (2 adults/2 kids)we were told to find an open table and sit where we'd like. There were 5 open tables and every one of them were filthy. I had to ask for someone to clean a table for us. A sweet elderly waitress grabbed a dirty/used rag to clean a table. The coffee was terrible. My husband didn't get the gravy he ordered until he had already had his food for 20 minutes. The floors were sticky. The service was terrible. The waitstaff was polite, but definitely need training. I usually come up with our usual waitress, but today she wasn't here and honestly I regret coming. Our new server took 10 mins to even greet us because he was invested in his phone. I'm not the type to complain and I even serve myself but he was extremely unprofessional and honestly needs more training. When he finally came over he just handed us menus and left. Then went back to his phone until he finally came to offer us drinks another close to 10 mins after. But this is what upset me, was the fact that he took our order and then played on his phone until THE COOK asked him what he needed to be cooked for us. So our order was put in quite a while after we initially ordered. Then to top it off, the cook gave us raw eggs! Funny thing is that this isn't the first time! This is the second time with the same cook. They were runny and everything again so we couldn't eat them. And apparently he overcooked our waffles to compensate because they were burnt. The menu seems limited when compared to other breakfast related restaurants. But this restaurant is not to be disregarded. with their options they do have, you can pretty much build whatever you want. Being my first time here, I wanted chicken and waffles. It's not on the menu, so I asked the lady to custom make it for me. She had no problem doing that. Your chicken is Off the Wall amazing! I paired that with the pecan waffles, added a few slices of American cheese, and they're specially seasoned chicken diced and spread over the top. I topped it off with the recommended warm syrup, and I was in breakfast heaven. To top it off, I usually don't drink coffee because it is bitter, and I usually have to add a bit of sugar and cream to taste. The coffee from The waffle House requires no cream no sugar and has absolutely zero bitterness to it. Man I love this place it is really good. And the customer service, very very nice.
